My father is a resident of Brookdale Palestine for two weeks now. The place has been great. The staff is welcoming and respectful of the residents. He feels at home there. The staff has been great. They have been respectful, very caring, and very attentive to his needs. They also allow him his own space, so it has been great. The room I guess is an apartment. There's a bedroom and a sitting area. It's a middle-sized room. They have an outdoor grill. They have outdoor areas for the residents, and they have games and planned activities. He is assisted living plus a little bit of skilled nursing, so there's a little extra there. He loves the food. The facility has been great.

Brookdale Palestine was a very, very nice facility with friendly staff. It's extremely clean inside and outside, it was nice. They took us into three different rooms, they have a little kitchenette with a small microwave, a small refrigerator, and a walk-in closet. They have a well-manicured courtyard. It's a nice place and they also have a sunroom. The person who gave me the tour was very knowledgeable and very informative, she was great. They gave us a pie to go home with and it was very good. The facility is nice, it's laid out in a circle so that helps anyone get around, especially in assisted living, so it's great. It was well manicured outside, they have a lovely sitting porch and it was beautifully decorated so it's a very nice place.

Our Brookdale Palestine experience was very bad. We did not go inside the facility though. We do not know what the rooms look like. We went to the facility, and we were escorted to the front porch where we sat and chatted just about everything and about what we really needed. It didn't turn out to be a good experience. We had an in-person contact, but we did not have a virtual tour. The surroundings seemed OK. It's on the hillside and I assume, looking out from the rooms, they may have a decent view of things, but it was impossible to tell. The COVID lockdown has made it impossible. The staff member was personable and very pleasant to be with, but we felt like we didn't really get enough information from it all. They served us some food to give us a sample of what the menu was like and it was good food. The facade looked very clean, pleasant, and in good repair. It looked like it was a nice facility, but I was not able to go inside or see anything. Looking through the window, I could see the business office, but that was it. It would be unfair for me to say anything about the facility.

We visited Brookdale Palestine. We were interested in a studio, but they were extremely small. I couldn’t see how you could put a chair or my mother's full-size bed in there. It looked clean. We were only disappointed in the size, but everything else was beautiful. It had a keyed entry where people couldn’t run off because they had a memory care there, too. The security was nice and good.

My father is at Sterling House. It is really close to my house. It is small, and I like the atmosphere better than the other one. My dad and I are pleased with them. My only complaint with them is they don't feed them enough. Sometimes, and I told tell them that he tells me, he is still hungry. I know they have some activities, but he doesn't partake in them. I know they take them on outings. Once a week or so, they take them to stores if they want to go. They have been to a few parades. They keep them pretty busy. I like that if I have a concern, I bring to the staff and they take care of it right away. It takes a little while for my dad to get used to it, but he is adjusting to it pretty well.

They're great. They call me once a month making sure and telling me there are rooms coming up. They stay in touch with me. The room is more homey, the food is great.

The Sterling House of Palestine assisted living facility was one of the places we visited while searching for a place for my brother's friend to live in the region. The outside area was very nicely maintained. The grounds outside offered easy access for residents, where they can enjoy walking around freely and safely. We could also see that there was plenty of space to have cookouts, parties and picnics. The foyer was fresh and bright with very nice decorations and furniture. All of the indoor rooms had plenty of fresh air and light. Each room was beautifully decorated and furnished. The colors throughout the building made it very soothing and comfortable. The private rooms featured plenty of space in nicely decorated surroundings. All had a great deal of natural light and fresh air with very comfortable furniture. Communal activity rooms were spacious, with comfortable furniture. The seniors can easily socialize, make crafts, play games, watch TV and films and engage in many stimulating activities. Residents can also tend the garden. The facility seems to accommodate all levels of ambulation. The dining room was quite nice, with plenty of space. The food we saw looked and smelled delicious. Healthy snacks are offered all day and into the evening, as well as whenever residents request them. The menus all had healthy food options for all kinds of diets. Seniors can use the exercise room at any time and also go on daily walks. Aerobics and yoga classes are offered. The residents go on trips to visit the many art galleries and museums, eat at casual and fine restaurants and enjoy the many cultural events offered. The residents here looked very content in their living environment and were well cared for by helpful, kind and considerate staff.

My mother is a resident in this facility. The staff treats her like she is their mom, too. She loves the activities director and nurse. Her room is clean and the meals are good. My daughter is 5 and she loves to go eat with her grandmother.
