My mother has moved into Morada Meadow Lakes. We chose it because of the location. What I like best about it is the people were very friendly. However, they've lost some staff and they're having trouble keeping up with the work around there. The staff is very friendly. They have bingo and movie nights. I've seen better facilities and I've seen worse. They have a gym, a garden area, and a salon. It's near hospitals and restaurants.

I went to look at Morada Meadow Lakes. The receptionist was very young, which didn't have anything to do with it, but she was just on her phone. When we went in, she was kind of relaxed and playing on the phone. It was beautiful inside, and everything was yellow. They had a lot of stuff in yellow, and that's my favorite color. The staff showed us one little room that a lady lived in, and it was like 300 square feet. It was so tiny. And then she showed us the lunch room. Everyone was eating, and nobody waved. There's a courtyard, but the staff didn't take us out or anything. It was just overpriced.

Mom is at Morada Meadow Lakes and I chose this place because it's near me. The staff is really nice and very helpful. The facility is clean and new. It's freshly painted and has new carpets throughout. It's very nice. They have all kinds of activities. They play bingo, they take mom to and from doctor's visits with their bus, movie nights, and they also take them to buy groceries. They provide three meals a day, six days a week, and then brunch on Sundays. Electric water, cable, and everything's included in the price. My mom has been very happy with the meals they've served. The price is comparable with all the others that I looked at.

Morada Meadow Lakes is still upgrading, and it needs it. The rooms or apartments that I saw were fine, but the common areas were a little shabby. It's clean but needs upgrading. Their apartments were clean, no question about that and they were fine. I was disappointed that the person that I had an appointment with was showing someone else. So I got a different person, and she didn't know quite as much as the person who had the job would have known. She was very nice and friendly, but not knowledgeable enough. They're doing a great job as far as cleanliness and so forth, they just have old carpets and it needs to be redone.

I visited Morada Meadow Lakes. The staff and the people there were extremely friendly and nice. We had a bad flood here in North Richland Hills, and it destroyed a lot of property. They got flooding down through their entire lower floor, so things were removed, and it was empty. They had pulled baseboards off and everything because they have to get all new carpet. It was a little distracting as far as that's concerned. I'm not saying that's the worst, it's just to understand they are having those problems, but they're fixing them and it's not their fault. There was no in-house laundry, you had to go down to a laundry room. The staff who gave us the tour was extremely friendly. We would meet people in the hallway, and she wouldn't call them by name. It seemed that everybody there was very into being helpful to the staff. She would walk through the halls, we would run into someone, and she would call him by name. She knew everybody and what they did. We did not have a meal, but because my parents are interested in food. They gave us a pot of gumbo and it was delicious. It was better than some restaurants I've been in, that was really good. They have an exercise room, woodworking shop, a huge library, and a large entertainment area. I really liked it. I felt sorry for them because they kept apologizing for the flood. They were having a little problem, and I get that, and I don't hold them against it. They were very good. The rooms were very large compared to where my parents are now, so it would give them a lot more room. The upstairs was perfect, it was fine. Downstairs, of course, with the flood, everything was out of joint. Going by what was upstairs, that was really good.

Morada Meadow Lakes was cheaper than the other places quoted to me. They had a move-in special and that made a big difference. The facility was very clean and very nice. The lady who toured us was awesome. They got very friendly people and we just got a really good feeling from our tour and knowing that they're willing to cooperate with us. The dining room looked good. I was impressed that almost all the employees, including the cook, have been there a long time. When we got there, they were playing bingo and they had an activities room that was nice and pretty big. I looked at their activities calendar and it was full and varied. They're going through renovations right now and even though they're doing that, there was no dirt on the floor nor any obstructions. It was clean.

I moved into Morada Meadow Lakes. So far, there's nothing that I don't like. Everything is fine. I like having three meals a day, and I like having somebody clean my apartment once a week. Those are the things that I need in my life. They have a beauty shop, activities every day, movies almost every day, exercise programs, and all kinds of stuff. The staff is great. I've only been here a couple of weeks now, so I don't have any recommendations at this point, but the staff has been wonderful. They do an excellent job of preparing the meals and there is a variety. I chose Morada over all the others. We have laundry facilities on our floor.

Morada Meadow Lakes felt like home when we walked in. It was very welcoming and warm and everybody I met during the tour was so kind. They've got a nice lobby with a nice staircase that goes upstairs. There were elevators and there was a laundry room. It's got a lot of things my husband is interested in like woodworking. The staff we met was very good, very nice and very helpful. I liked the place. We've visited a few more and they didn't have the same feel to it. The dining room was nice and I liked it. It had tables for 6, for 2, and tables for 4. The place looked very good. They were remodeling it. As each person is moving out, they're redoing the apartments. The apartment we saw was spacious. It's got a living room, two bedrooms, and a kitchenette. It also has a stove and a refrigerator.

My husband and I moved into Meadow Lakes. We are in independent living upgraded, because it hires a home health nursing facility here, so you can get nursing care if needed. They also have a group there who will help with the medication, shower, or just company taking you to a doctor's visit. They do everything that you need help with. The managers and the staff members are all good. All the people here are friendly. The food is good, too, and you get three meals a day every day except for Sunday, which is only one meal. You also get a pretty patio where you can go sit out with flowers and all kinds of birds and stuff. There is a walkway, too. It is a nice and peaceful place. They have games and activities, and there is a gentleman from church across the street that comes in. They have a church service and then a bible study. They do movies as well. One group of ladies sing along, or they sing songs. There's lots of activities that we can participate in. We have a two-bedroom, two-bath, and it's a pretty good size for the money we're paying. For food, you go to the line, and they give me the tray and the helpers help you carry the food to the table. We have housekeeping that comes in once a week to change your bed clothes for you, wash your bed clothes, clean the bathroom for you, and vacuum. Right now, they are just opening up more because they were closed down, but we are still using the masks as much as we can, and we're social distancing, but they allowed us to eat with each other in the dining room and do activities. For the visitors, they have to check in at the front desk and have their temperature taken. They're very health conscious here for us, too. This place is pet friendly. I have a cat, and that was very important for me to find somewhere that allows me to have my cat. There are people here who had dogs and cats as well. They all get along with each other.

My visit to Meadow Lakes was absolutely phenomenal. I loved it. I just wanna make sure that's the place to be for my dad, and he's gonna take anyway, but that's where I would like him to be. I've had another, maybe one or two more, that I'd like to look at before we make a decision. It was great and awesome. I give them a five as being the best. The staff was great. They didn't invite me for dinner and that's fine, but they got to take us on a tour. They were really willing to help in any way possible and they were very pleasant. It was a good visit. It was great, everything was nice, clean, and very presentable professionally.

I had an in-person tour of Meadow Lakes. It was a great place. There was nothing wrong with it. It was OK. I would definitely recommend it. The staff was very attentive. She showed me everything that I needed to see. It was good overall. The room was nice and clean. The dining area was like restaurant style.

I met a fun lady at Meadow Lakes who ran it and the place was more open than others, but still kind of dark. It looked like an apartment or a nice hotel like a Disney kind of spread. There were lots of parking, but it was too far out of the way. It is North Richland Hills, but it's South of 820, which is a whole different area. They run their own little gift shop.

Meadow Lakes' rooms are very beautiful and nice. My mother-in-law has already moved in. They have outings, exercise classes, crafts, and game night, so they seem to keep them busy. They offer three nutritious meals a day, and the food looks good. They have free laundry, a library, game room, huge lunch room, and areas for families to have parties and a huge lobby. They have a floor person who checks on them. They clean the rooms once a week, and change, wash, and fold the sheets. If you want something special, you just have to tell the cook and they'll make it for you and they'll bring it to your room. The staff has been great. The place is very clean and doesn't smell. Everything they offer is very good value for the money.

Meadow Lakes was OK. They have a lot of nice things about them, but it's not a place I want to live. We are not looking for anything right now that provides meals because we are not there yet, so that's one of the reasons that I would not choose to live there. Nevertheless, everybody was very friendly. They do serve 3 meals. Housekeeping and laundry services are available. They have a beauty salon, a library, and a computer area. They have maintenance staff on-duty which is good. But I wasn't really thrilled about the size of the apartments.

Meadow Lake was larger and more hotel-like. It was clean and looked like the people were really active. The dining area was nice. There was a theater room and a library. It was a nice place.

Meadow Lakes was very nice, but it just wasn’t a good fit for my dad. And the gal who took us on the tour did a fantastic job. She was very good. I thought the apartment was very roomy, very nice, very clean, and well-done.

The people at Meadow Lakes were friendly, but I found that they were older. From what I’ve seen from the people, it was not really a mixed community. The staff that I did meet and see were just as cordial and polite. They would acknowledge everyone and were very concerned. I would just not pick this place because of the residents' ages. They had laundry room, game room, and exercise room and bingo, movie night, and little classes for you to join. The place was really nice.

Meadow Lakes is a very kind, loving, Christian-centered retirement community, like one big family. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. It felt like home the minute I walked in the door. The rooms are very spacious and have all you need. It's not anything fancy, but it feels like home. You can get a two-bedroom or a one-bedroom. Whatever your needs are, they have it.

I liked Meadow Lakes. They were very kind, and the lady that showed me around was very accommodating. There were a lot of things I liked about it, including the rooms. The dining area was open and efficient. They set up church services on Easter Sunday, so that was good.

Meadow Lakes is excellent. They take time to do the little things. In the laundry room, there’s at least one washer and dryer that’s elevated, so the seniors don’t have to bend down and reach in and see it on a regular level. Dad is in a one-bedroom with a very nice concept and a small oven. Overall, I like the apartment because it’s laid out well. They have loads of activities, like art classes, exercise classes, Fort Worth’s symphony and jazz band come out and play, and outings. The staff is very nice.

The one that we settled on is Meadow Lakes. I am impressed with the food, the accommodations, and the activities that they have for the residents. It looks like the work ethic of the staff is good. The number and longevity of employees they have is adequate. The rooms are freshly renovated and very roomy with plenty of closet space. We eat there, and the food is excellent and does not taste like institutional food. They have activities, like card games, exercise programs, and trips to ball games or stores and so forth.

I am currently a resident. I am very pleased at the friendlness of my fellow residents. Even with a 40-50 year age gap, I fit in and I have found my true home. The environment is kind, electric with a pleasant and helpful staff, It is conveniently located off of the freeway and the new express way. I was thrilled that I got to have a say in preparing my apartment. As a result, my apartment is set up not only to accommodate my handicap; but also my incessant crafting. There are always planned activities each week. The staff is fantastic in that that I was given the opportunity to share my talents with my fellow residents as well as lead several activities.

At Meadow Lakes, the size of their rooms is 50% bigger than where we are right now. Plus, the price is half of what we're currently paying. I like this place. I had lunch there and it was a better lunch than I have had anywhere! This place is absolutely commendable! It has good rooms, good food and good price!
