Atria Hometown in NRH has been an amazing partner to our family as Mom prepared to move into her senior apartment. She knew that Atria was the place where she would move when the day came that she would leave her house, but was not prepared to do so when a life-changing health event occurred in late June. Mary at Atria was with us every step of the way as we prepared to move Mom in by early August. The apartment is beautiful. The services are thoughtfully organized. The people are kind and helpful. What a wonderful place to live!

We were here for a tour of the community. The rooms and grounds are beautiful, clean, well kept and comfortable. So many options for dining (cook for yourself in your apartment, or eat in the dining hall). Lots of activities and amenities to keep you active and engaged.

I downsized in half to move to Atria but I have not missed the lost areas since I was not using them. The rooms are very spacious, the design is practical, the people here are welcoming & caring. It feels like a luxury hotel. You are given ample choices for breakfast & lunch & can take leftovers back to apartment for dinner.

Mom loves it here! The staff cares about her. She's gotten to know many other residents and they're her good friends now! The activities they plan are wonderful - there are many things for so many varied interests! There are activities for a wide variety of interests, abilities, and energy levels! Her apartment is spacious and well-planned. On top of that, the food is really good! The staff is always positive, kind, and helpful. It's comforting to me that someone is on duty and is visible 24 hours a day! Not every facility has this. I'm grateful every day for them!

My mother moved into Atria at Hometown several months ago. The staff has been very nice and friendly. Any issue that has raised has been dealt with quickly. The dining is very good. My wife and I like it so much that we plan on moving there in 10 years

Atria is well taken care of and has caring staff that make every resident special. Mary spend so much time with us to make sure that my mom made an easy transition with no hidden surprises. The activities are almost endless. The residents are wonderful and inviting. Cannot wait to move in myself!!

I chose to move to Atria at Hometown because of the size of the apartments and the outside balconies. The staff also seem to be very caring. The food is really good here. It's plenty for me. There are quite a few activities that they offer. There's bingo, bean bag baseball, bunco, and crafts. We have transportation as well where they take you to church or anywhere within a ten-mile radius.

Atria at Hometown is a beautiful facility with a lot of extras. I loved it, but it won't work for my parents because they don't serve dinner, and my parents can't cook. So, they would either have to order in or take food from lunch down and that wouldn't work. My parents are big into food; lunch and dinner are their two main meals, and they are not willing to sacrifice either one of those. So, that was a problem I had with them. That's not an issue for a lot of people, but for my parents, it wouldn't work. The rooms were very nice. It was decorated and it was absolutely gorgeous. I'd actually move in there right now, but my husband will never move into one. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They have a beautiful indoor-outdoor pool. It was really nice, they have lots of activities to do there. It's just that it didn't fit for my parents.

Atria at Hometown was very modern and very clean. They had meal preparation available just like the other places. They did movies and had activities. They had a swimming pool, and a nice garden behind it. It was very lovely, but very pricey. It was out of my price range. It was very nice. If I could have afforded it, I probably would have picked that one because it was so welcoming, and all my boxes were checked except for the price.

I toured Atria at Hometown. The apartment space was good, the kitchen was alright, it didn't have a washer and dryer, but the appliances were new and the closets were spacious. The dining area was nice, I looked at it. It was a Saturday and we talked to some of the people there, but they weren't doing anything in particular. The lady who took me through the tour was excellent and the people were really nice. I noticed that they were talking to the residents. The whole area was nice and well-kept, and the pool and garden areas were nice too.

I like Atria at Hometown. I like their apartments better than the other place. They were designed differently and I liked that better. My problem with Atria is it's too far away from my doctors. The grounds were beautiful, and they're more established than the other ones. The entrance was gorgeous. They had all sorts of wonderful plants and flowers out there. It's just something that when you look out the door, you just enjoy a very peaceful feeling because you see all those gorgeous flowers and things. Everybody was very nice and on their toes. I remember two groups playing cards in two different areas. It was a beautiful place.

We went to Atria at Hometown. They ask for more money up front, and it seemed to me that they nickel and dime you. You have to pay extra for this or that, and they give you two meals instead of three. It was nice, very professional, and very clean. They were doing some extra painting there at that time, so they're doing upkeep. The staff was more business and straightforward but very nice. She was very professional and very good. It seemed like people were happy down there, but I couldn't see what they were eating. They were all making a big deal that you had a continental breakfast, but then they had a big lunch, and you could take all the extras back to your room for dinner. So there are only two meals. To me, that's not the best way to do things. But they had a full kitchen in their room, and at that age, I didn't want mother to have a full kitchen. There is more stuff there. They had an outside pool and water aerobics. They had a little putting green. They had a lot more crafts, weight rooms, and workout rooms. So this one area has plenty of amenities, but you're paying for it. They had a movie theater upstairs, and they had all the different movies and card games.

Atria at Hometown is fairly new and when you walk in, the presentation of the entrance is very nice. They have a receptionist there. She immediately gave me hand sanitizer, a mask to put on (so I didn't have to wear my mask), and took my temperature. She had me sit over in the waiting area and then she got a hold of Carol. Right before you walk in, it opens up to the dining places. She said they were starting to open up as well. They hadn't quite done that because they were delivering food to the rooms; that was nice. There was access to a elevator and all the rooms have patios. That is great because my dad had a patio. You can have the inner patio or you can have a patio looking out at the street. It's set in the section where it's townhomes. They're close together. It's like a hometown feel. You could walk, and they have a little park area where you can walk into the water. They'll take the seniors to their appointments within a 12-mile radius. It's pretty centrally located. There are all kinds of shopping centers close by, there are restaurants, and easy access to the freeway if they still drive like my dad. It's very roomy, they had a washer and dryer with it. The one-bedroom I thought was very roomy. So you walk in and to your right, you would have your laundry room behind closed doors and then it goes to your kitchen to your left, it's got the refrigerator, the stove, the microwave, the sink, the dishwasher, and then that looks out into the little living room. You have your bedroom and then the other door going from the bedroom is your bathroom, and I like that. That is a good thing, it was close. And they have a theater, comfy seats, they usually show good movies on the big screen, stuff people like to watch, and then they pick the movies. They have movie night and they have a popcorn machine in there, and candies.

We toured Atria at Hometown, and during the time spent with them, they were nice. Atria was a nice and pretty facility, and the dining area was very nice. It is kind of like you sit down at this table, and they have menus where you pick your food from and then their chef cooks it and is brought to you at the table. The bedrooms were nice, but they were still smaller than what we got here. They were very clean. The food was excellent. The salesperson was nice and friendly. I would say it's a nice place, but it was out of my financial situation. If my finances were better, I might be there.

Atria at Hometown was a very fine community. I'd recommend it to anybody. I was only there for three months. I moved in about the time that the Coronavirus started. The staff was very good. I had a 2-bedroom apartment. They had movies, dining, and a lot of different activities, but we were on lockdown, so you couldn't be participating in any of them. Everything was restricted. They even brought us meals, but a few people ate in the dining area. They had an exercise room, a library, a swimming pool, a game room, and church services. Everything was pretty much on lockdown. It's a very nice place. It's a pretty big building, and there's a lot of walking to do.

I visited Atria at Hometown. Their apartments were wonderful. They were very roomy, and they had full kitchens. They were great. They have a dining area, and they serve two meals a day. It was very nice. I saw the plates they had prepared and everything looked lovely. It was a more modern menu. It was not exactly home cooking, but it was healthier cooking. They have a lot of activities too. They have a heated pool, a chapel, a little movie theater, and a place for people to get their haircut. They offer quite a bit, which is very nice.

Atria was a great place. The people who lived there were a little bit older than my mother and needed more assistance. The people were extremely nice, but the apartments were not that good and very dated. We had lunch there and ate really great food. The chef was nice and came out to greet us. They had a lot of wonderful activities. There were some people working in the art room and others cleaning up from exercise class. We toured the movie theater. The price was way too expensive for my mother, though.

My mom is now at Atria at Hometown. It is very nice, clean, and it has no odor. The people seem happy there, the staff is pleasant, and their food is good. My mom is happy there. Their apartments are bigger, the price is lower, and I liked the staff when I looked at it. That's why we chose this place. My mom has a one-bedroom apartment, which is spacious. I also found that all my mom could talk about is how good the food is there compared to where she was used to be. She is also going to activities and she enjoys them. She walks around in the hallway after meals and speaks with the people who are around. The staff are good. They talk to my mom. They helped her get out of the car when she didn't ask, and they helped her with her walker when she didn't ask. Their work ethic is very good there. Being a nurse for almost 30 years, I would give this community a 5.

My mother had a beautiful and large apartment at Atria Hometown. The staff is nice and very caring. When they opened, they had a professional chef. Eight months later he left and somebody else came in. The food is adequate but not outstanding. They have all kinds of activities, like exercise rooms and exercises in the swimming pool.

The Atria at Hometown seems to be a very nice facility. Overall, the dining room and kitchen staff seems to be very good. They have been short of help since Atria took over, but they give a pretty good service.
