Meadowview Place

Our tour at Meadowview Place was very nice. They showed my mother the two rooms that she was interested in, but neither one of them go out into a courtyard. They don't have courtyard openings. They have a beautiful courtyard, but with her having the cat, she wanted the courtyard entrance. There was nothing wrong with the place. It was beautiful. They have stations for puzzles. They have exercises. They go to places with their bus. You can do your laundry or they'll do your laundry. The dining room smelled delicious. They have more of a nursing home atmosphere there. And that's where we're going, to choose that place if and when it comes to the point of my mother needing nursing care, but at this point, she does not. She's quite capable of taking care of herself, but just not alone. They have a lot a lot of activities inside the building like Veterans Day and such as that, and of course they have the amenities of the salon. It's also within ten minutes from my home. The place was very clean and very well laid out.

I really liked Meadowview Place. I would have put Mom there if they would have taken her, but she didn't qualify. The whole place was very, very nice. The staff was great. They had a dining room, a hydration station, and an outdoor area that they could go to. The staff was great and I really liked them.

Meadowview Place was very nice and clean. The staffs were very welcoming, and everything was nice and spacious. They pretty much got everything a person would need, to feel like they are at home. Everybody was nice and respectful. They have a beauty salon, it was nice and clean, and they also have a spa room where they go in and get into a little bubbly tub. They've got a very nice seating area and an activity room as well. They cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I saw that the residents were playing plenty of games. I spoke to the coordinator during the tour. Their residents looked very well-kept and happy, and they also put the veterans' pictures up the wall. All around, it was great.

We went with Meadowview Place. They are really helpful as far as the process of getting my sister in. I know with Covid, everything is crazy, but they have been really receptive to our phone calls. Overall, it's just a really good experience. We barely got in to see the apartment because of Covid. When we went in, the apartment was nothing fancy, but it was as advertised. It was fairly true to the online photos. It was nice and handicap accessible, and it had a small kitchenette and a nice small bathroom. Overall, we were pleased with the apartment. The staff members are very friendly. One of the directors gave us her personal cell phone number, and we have been able to call her at different times. She has been extremely helpful every time we call. They have a courtyard area, and they have begun trying to set up an inside visit area with plexiglass and all that stuff due to Covid. They have a spa room, they can go to the beauty shop, and they have separate different meal options. My sister who is in there smokes, so they are able to take her out a couple of times a day to have a cigarette. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful.

Meadowview Place is unlike any other! My dad loves the friendly staff and is always busy enjoying an activity! They take him to Dr. appointments and treat him as if he were family. And it feels as if everyone from the staff and residents are family! My heart is finally at ease!
