My aunt is a resident of The Avenues of Fort Bend. It's great. They offer all kinds of activities for her to do. She has not been there very long, but I have no complaints about the staff. She is enjoying it. They keep her busy. They offer all kinds of things for her to do with other residents that live there and in that particular unit. Considering her situation, she is thriving there.

The Avenues of Fort Bend was an excellent facility. The staff was very, very loving and compassionate. That was actually my first choice for my godmother. The place was very clean and very elegant. It didn't look like an assisted living facility. They had a beautiful dining room, spacious rooms, and elevators for the residents because they have multiple floors, but I think the staff was just the pinnacle of that whole facility.

The Avenues of Fort Bend was very nice on the inside. The community seemed like they were very happy. They had nice scenic views outside. They could go out on the porch, and they had a patio section. Those were the good things. I got to see their studio. It was very small. There was a library, dining room, and game room. I ate there. The chicken was not really very melt-in-your-mouth; it was a bit hard. Other than that, it was OK. The place was well maintained.

My tour at The Avenues of Fort Bend was fine; it was nice. I saw both the assisted living and memory care, because as we were walking, the staff was showing me around, and showing me everything. Someone comes in to do activities with them, they have a choir area, they have a garden, so whoever wants to go out they can go out into the garden. I met the manager of the place and I saw some workers giving them breakfast.

My mom was at The Avenues of Fort Bend. In general the staff seemed to be very friendly and caring. The difficulty there is that the facilities had a much lower staff-to-residents ratio. The problem that we had there was that Mom would fall out of her chair and it would be some time before someone would come to check in on her. The living atmosphere was very nice and very comfortable. It was a nice and well kept place. The food tasted OK; it was like college cafeteria instead of elementary school cafeteria. My mom was getting assisted living, but she was in a private room. The majority of their residents were in wheelchairs and some of them were using walkers. They had activities available. They had daily exercise classes, daily bingo, and they had singing groups come in. They had more activities and more amenities. There was a pool table there which I never saw anyone use.

My father is at The Avenues of Fort Bend. It's a nice quiet community, they're pretty hands-on, and everybody knows everyone. He has a studio that's just a room with a bathroom, but they have private and shared rooms. The staff is fine, and they have group time with the residents.

The Avenues of Fort Bend has been real good for my mother. It's nice and clean, the staff is very friendly, and they're very competitively priced. The food is not great, but it's OK. It's very bland because they can't season it a lot for the elderly people. They have quite a few activities compared to other places. They are good about keeping everybody involved.

Oyster Creek Manor was very nice. My dad is a smoker, and one of the ladies who workd there told me that it was a smoking environment, but when I called back, I was told that it's not. That's the only problem I had. The rooms they showed me were very beautiful. Everything was nice, the people were also nice to us.

I moved my mother into Oyster Creek Manor in March. I liked the facility. They are very pleasant. It had a lot of trees and looked very natural. One of the biggest draws was the dining because she could order off of the menu, and there isn't a set time to eat. You just go when you want to eat and order what you want to order and that was very appealing to her. They also have breakfast all day long. She goes to exercise every morning, which she never had before. She never played bingo before and now she is playing bingo. They have happy hour on Fridays and some entertainment or music several times a month. Their outside facilities are very nice. She is very happy, so everything is going great. The medical care has been good. I asked for something and a doctor came to see her. Everything is great.

I visited Oyster Creek twice. I put my wife in for a one-day trial just to see what it was like. Another time, I went for lunch. It was a fairly nice facility with good food. I am not sure how good they are with the residents. The rooms and layout were not that nice. The grounds were quite nice, but the inside of the building was not built quite as nice as some of the others I saw. Their pricing was very reasonable.

Oyster Creek Manor was very clean and was decorated beautifully. The dining hall was spectacularly decorated and seemed really clean. There's a place where you could have private dining, and the rooms were independent. They were so helpful in assisting with whatever they could that was available there. They have all kinds of activities, and they welcomed guests there. It stood out the most to me.

I liked Oyster Creek because the facility seemed to be a neat place to stay; it just wasn’t in our price range for him. They have activities for the elders. It’s very clean.

We visited Oyster Creek. Everybody was friendly. We viewed a couple of rooms that were all very nice, spacious, and clean. They offered everything I could think we needed. We did dine there, and it was all very nice. I liked the fact that you can get food almost 24/7. They had several activities, offered transportation, and had a game room.

The rooms at Oyster Creek Manor were very nice and clean, too. I didn’t see a lot of staff, but the person who walked me around the place was fine.

Oyster Creek Manor is an excellent place, temporarily or permanently, for aging and disabled residents. My mother stayed for five days and what I liked about it was that everybody was hands-on. Any questions we asked, each person was able to answer. The facility was very clean, had nurses on staff, and was well equipped. The ratio of residents/patients to employees was very good. They had great food, lots of activities, and transportation for off-premise activities. Other things were brought in, like a salon and a barber shop, which I thought was really neat for the residents who cannot get out. I have nothing negative to say about the place. It was absolutely positively an enjoyable stay for us. One of the people I had contact with was Anthony. He shared information, was great with follow up, and followed through on any and all concerns we had. Even when we were out of town, they promised to call to us to make us aware of what was going on.

Dad is at Oyster Creek Manor, and we think the facility is wonderful. It’s clean. When you walk in, it doesn’t smell like urine. The rooms are really nice. The people are wonderful. It has a very upbeat staff. They are very personable, and they really interact with the residents. The chef is also amazing. Overall, it’s a great facility.

Oyster Creek gave us lunch. Everybody was very sweet, kind, and helpful and answered our questions. The lunch was very good. The facility itself was very nice, and the rooms were nice.

Oyster Creek is relatively new. It was very nice. It was the first one I visited for my aunt and it was $4000 a month, so the ones I visited after that were even more expensive. The staff was very good. They were nice. That day I saw the residents engaged in activities.
