I chose Polo Park Estates for my mom because the atmosphere is conducive to an old folk being in a nursing home. My mom likes it and she's been there for several months now. It's a nice place, they've got good food, and they take care of the people that are there. They have quite a few activities as well. So far, they have been satisfactory.

We went to Polo Park Estates. The tour was very nice and very thorough. The location is wonderful in reference to our home. The facilities were bright, clean, and airy. They have studios and one-bedrooms. They have an outstanding number of activities and common areas. It's a three-level unit. They have a gym and a chapel. They have multiple rooms for activities and they have a very large dining room. They have areas where they gather to sing and play games, a library, and a gym. There are multiple places outside where they can gather and have outside parties or activities. So, it's pretty nice. We did have lunch there, and it was wonderful.

Polo Park Estates is in a nice neighborhood in Midland. It has a small footprint. There were no walking trails. It's all landscaped. I talked to Heather about their place and everything. They asked for me to have lunch there, but the time schedule wouldn't allow it. The tour was really good. I liked the three rooms that I saw. I especially liked what Heather said that if there was something that I liked, like the ceiling fan, they would be delighted to put it in my room. If I moved, I couldn't take it with me, but I could have a ceiling fan. In one of the rooms I looked at, the person who previously was there had put in one of those expensive walk-in bathtubs. If I wanted to put in flooring, they would have some preferences as to the type of flooring that I put in, but if I wanted to pay for pulling up the carpet and put flooring in, I was more than welcome to do it. Heather seemed nice. When I walked in though, I must have stood there 15 minutes before anybody said anything in front of the desk. Their activity list was fair. It wasn't as varied as I would like, but they had activities. Nothing was planned for that day.

I really liked Polo Park Estates. They had a check in sign and thing, and the questionnaire around the virus, but it was very noninvasive, you just kind of checked in on your own. They didn't kind of attack you in the front door with all their rules. It seemed like it was very energetic. A lot of people mingled in the halls doing different things, doors were decorated with wreaths and different things, and lots of arts and crafts. A lot of activities. They have walking trails, they allow pets, it's just a very homey environment. The staff was awesome. We've been there three different times. They're getting ready to go through a major remodel with carpet and painting, and light fixtures are going in, but the rooms kind of were more high-end amenities with the nicer countertops, and it just seemed a little bit nicer than the others.

Polo Park Estates was very nice. I like it a lot. I like the atmosphere. It's much bigger than the other facility. It just seems very open and it is kind of cottage-style. The outside looks like an old plantation house. I like that place a lot. The staff members were excellent. The facility was wonderful, I mean, I'd move in if I could. When you walk in, it's very open and roomy. It has this elaborate staircase and elevators, of course. They have a little library in one area. It seems almost like an apartment complex and not like an assisted or independent living. It seems like a regular community.

I visited Polo Park Estates. Seems like the residents all kind of get along. They interact pretty well together. They have like a beauty salon, and some little game area setup, and the dining area, some sofas around, and the residents are gathered together. It's a big, open dining area.

Polo Park Estates was great. They had studio rooms and they had rooms with balconies. They had some individual small cottages too. They did have some activities on the schedule, but I didn't see any of them when I was there. It seemed like they had gone bowling. The staff was great.

We were happy with our tour at Polo Park Estates. The place was great, bright, and inviting. We stopped and talked to some of the residents who were very happy with where they were living. It also seemed very welcoming to families who had their loved ones there. It really was going to be what we are looking for.

Polo Park Estates was really good. I think it was topnotch. They told me everything I needed to know upfront and exactly how much it would cost.
