While I was a resident at Marshall Manor, I can say that I had the best care there. I never evision at my age I would have to be admitted into a nursing facility. It only took me a little while I was comfortable living there. The rooms are very clean, Every staff members were professional and friendly even the cleaning crew and food servers, the activities was very enjoyable even Bingo. I even enjoyed my therapy/ occupational. I will recommend Marshall Manor to anyone. If you are looking for the best health care in Marshall Texas. Try Marshall Manor. I have worked at a lot of nursing homes. This one is at the top of the line.....

My family member was admitted to this nursing facility for therapy for a few weeks. The nursing staff was excellent. The therapy department worked great with my family member ensuring that when he left the facility, he was leaving in great shape. The staff were overall caring and friendly healthcare givers. The facility itself was very clean and neat. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone wanting to receive therapy and/or long term nursing care.

My friend is happy at Marshall Manor, and she always has been. Her room is fixable. I decorated it and put in curtains. They have a new facility, but she is in the old facility. The people are mostly in wheelchairs and incontinent. The nurses are very nice to her and they give her a lot of attention. The staff is competent. She does also have a caregiver who stays with her, picks up her clothes and visits with her, combs her hair and takes care of her. They have bands that come in and ministers and they meet in the recreation room or the cafeteria. There were not a lot of activities though. I haven't seen her do physical activities. The food is good.

I can say that overall Marshall Manor is excellent and very caring. I was there daily, and they take very good care of my wife. She is in a private room, and the room was OK and adequate. She was in an older section, but the newer section was much better. However, it was the personnel that made Marshall Manor excellent. They have a variety of meals, but my wife ate in her room. They did have all kinds of activities. It was one of the better ones in Marshall.

My mother's wheelchair won't fit through the bathroom. We wouldn't never thought to measure it. We assumed all nursing homes would have wheelchair accessible bathrooms. She's incontinent now, and they don't provide for that, which we also didn't think to ask. So now we are having to pay for incontinence supplies at a cost of about $20 per day.

When my grandmother first moved to Marshall Manor, i was very skeptical. there are several cases of elderly abuse and neglect every year, and that was my biggest fear for her. all of my fears were put to rest after my first visit. first impressions last a lifetime, and the staff at marshall manor made a wonderful first impression. they are friendly and very helpful. not only to the residents, but their families also. the food is prepared specifically fitted to every individuals dietary needs, the grounds are very nice, the place is exceptionally clean, and the nurses are top notch. hopefully, i won't inherit my grandmothers illnesses, but if i need to be put into an assisted living facility, marshall manor will be my first choice. the staff, as well as the patients, are always friendly and eager to help. i truly feel that the employees at marshall manor dont see their work as just a job, but a calling. these people are the reason that my grandmother has a smile on her face everytime i see her.
