My mother is in Hawkins Creek. We had a really good impression of the place. Everyone was friendly, very nice, and very accommodating. That?s why we chose it. There is a salon. They have a room where people can play games. They have dominoes and puzzles. They have church several times a week. They have a library with some computers in it. The room that they use to do a lot of their activities has the daily activities and the times at which each one is going to take place. My mother's room is right next door to the dining room. She says that the food is good. It?s much better than where she was in rehab, so she?s much more pleased with the food here.

Hawkins Creek was wonderful. I like the fact that they have their little church meetings. They had the singing and stuff like that for the residents. I thought that was really great. They had a little garden where they could plant. They can sit outside. They have people coming in. The dining area was nice. I liked that they had smaller tables. The staff was very nice and explained things to us as we walked along. They have small rooms.

Hawkins Creek was a very nice facility. What we really liked was the fact that our in-laws could stay together as a couple, even if one of them was in memory care, and you don't find that in most facilities. That was unique to this place. The rooms were very nice. The facility appeared to be very well kept. The staff was wonderful and explained all the details of what needed to be done for their placement. I talked to the marketing guy, Chris. He took us around and let us meet many of the people that work there, the office staff, the nurse, just everyone, and they were all very nice. They had a very nice activity room. You could see that they were doing crafts and other activities. We were impressed by the fact that they have an excellent program that helps Alzheimer's patients to maintain cognitive function. I did not taste their food, but I looked at a menu, and it was very nice and had many choices. The dining facilities looked very welcoming and nice.

I went over to Hawkins Creek. It was very nice and very pleasant. The staff was very nice. We pretty much stayed in the lobby, and we didn't take a big, grand tour or anything. We stood in the dining area where the little ice-cream parlor was, and we spoke with a few residents that came through. The staff told me about the facility. The menu was good. It was raining outside, so we didn't go outside and do anything. I kind of caught him off guard because I just walked in. There were some people sitting in the ice-cream parlor playing cards, and then there were some people playing some kind of board game. There were activities going on, and I was impressed. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The place was very clean and tidy.

My father is currently in Hawkins Creek. They didn't do what they said they were gonna do in his original plan. They had to move their rooms because of weather issue and they didn't bother to move any of his stuff, and we weren't able to go in for a couple of months. They didn't move any of his personal belongings besides a chair, a TV, and a bed. Because of Covid, I haven't seen a lot of the staff, but you never see anybody when you go up there. At the other places we had visited, you would see people in the hallways. My father said the food is OK. They're just starting the activities back.

The tour at Hawkins Creek was very good. We're considering that place as well. it was convenient for us, and the staff member was fabulous. The rooms were comparable to the other place we visited. She raved about how good their cook was and how everybody loves the food there.

Hawkins Creek was excellent, but it's only assisted living and memory care. They don't have independent living there. It's not quite as grand as the other two we visited, but it certainly is nice. It's a little more streamlined and simple. I would be happy for any family member to be here. They had a really nice outdoor area and the rooms were nice.

Hawkins Creek was not as nice, but the gentleman who gave us the tour was very well-versed about the facility and was nice and friendly. They allowed residents to smoke, so I considered it. It was older and needed some updating in some areas, but the rooms were sufficient.

Hawkins Creek was excellently maintained. They had activities day to day for their residents. They showed me the menu for their cafeteria, and the food looked very good. They also had the option of having different food every day which was great. They were located right next to a hospital, which was another good feature.

We have decided to go with Hawkins Creek. We are just waiting for military paperwork and everything to get in place. I love the director and the interaction between the staff and the patients. The community felt like a home. The location is excellent for me because it is close to my doctor and my father-in-law's doctor. I didn't see much of the grounds the day we went but from what I had seen, it looked nice. They also have an enclosed area if you want to sit outside and not be able to get out of that area.

I didn’t have a tour of Hawkins Creek. I strictly just walked in and asked for some information. They were not very friendly. I didn’t get any kind of feeling that they even wanted any business.

We chose Hawkins Creek because they had availability at the time we were looking. So far, my husband has been very pleased with the staff. They have a courtyard. I have not tried their food, but it looks good. I know my father-in-law is not that happy with the breakfast because the eggs and bacon weren't done the way he wanted them.

We placed my mom in Hawkins Creek and we found the staff to be caring and interested in her care. The facility is very nice and has many activities for those interested in participating. They have outdoor sitting areas in the courtyard with rose bushes and rocking chairs in the front for chatting and watching the world go by. They help with bathing and will help with wheel chairs and walkers when necessary and I was happy to see they remembered names of the residents. The food was good and the residents received dessert with every meal including ice cream. They made my mother a snow globe with her picture for a Christmas present which was very sweet especially given she had only moved in days earlier. My mother passed away and the staff was very compassionate and caring through the entire process.

Hawkins Creek was a very nice place with nice staff and people, too. They showed me one- and two-bedroom apartments.

Hawkins Creek is a very nice, beautiful facility. It has so much more amenities than an assisted living resident would need, like a theater, bistro, and beautiful dining area. The rooms are beautiful.

I visited Hawkins Creek for my father. I had seen a room, and it was not what my father wanted. However, it was a great facility, and the rooms were excellent. The facility was well kept. The residents that I did see were happy and jolly.

We moved my mother into Hawkins Creek. The place was great, the rates were very reasonable, and the staff was awesome. They were top-notch. The rooms were great and very clean, plus they were doing some renovations to make it look even nicer. Her room was big, and it had a little sitting room, a place to sleep, and a big bathroom. There's always something to do there.

It was a really modern looking facility, and my mother is more country, but Hawkins Creek was very nice. The staff was extremely informative, and she walked me around, showed me the facility and the rooms that they had, and told me about their activities and things like. It was full-on information, and the lady that does this was wonderful, very friendly and very easy to talk to. She just made you feel comfortable when you walked in. The dining room was very pretty, and it was very clean. There were people out in the sitting area and the dining area, so they can get out and not just stay in their rooms. I think they were wonderful -- extremely clean, extremely nice staff, and beautiful surroundings with lawns. The parking area was good.
