My husband moved into Magnolia Place Health Care. They are caring and attentive to my husband. They seem to have his welfare at the utmost of their ability to bring him a good quality of life, as he has it right now. The facility is extremely clean. There are no smells or odors of urine or anything like that, which is one of the things I like about it. The food seems to be good. My husband seems to like it, eat it, and then complain about it. They can get on a little bus and go to places they want. They have church on Wednesday nights and Sundays, which is nice. They seem to have activities for them all during the month if you're able to join in. They've got bingo.

Extremely incompetent nursing staff. Forget using the transport van to take men less than a mile to a barber shop for dignity and outing, instead they prefer to transport four or five residents across state lines to gamble at casinos, but basic needs cannot be met. Was still asked after 6 months whether or not my relative had dentures. Which he did. Administrator not able to resolve issues.

Magnlia Place seems to be a very nice place for people with extensive nursing needs. The staff was VERY friendly and helpful. Other than a private assisted living facility, this is the only one I have EVER been in that did not reek of urine and other body odors. The facilities and amenities are also nice with a couple of family rooms for visitation instead of just sitting in the resident's bedroom to visit. Their cafeteria becomes a gameroom and social room when it is not mealtime. Overall a place I would not mind living in if I had such a need.
