My mother is in Liberty Health Care Center, and it is not good. It's a nursing home. She needed more of a rehab after her stroke and they put her in a nursing home because that's the town she lives in and that's all there is. It's not a good situation. I was able to visit through a glass because of Covid. I don't like it at all. She hadn't been bathed, she hadn't had her teeth brushed, and she has a sore on her bum because they just leave her in the bed. Her particular nurse's aide for herself is real good, but she's not there all the time. There's really no physical therapy there for her or anything like that. It's not a good place. It's not really rehab. In the town she lives in, all they had to offer was that nursing home.

Be careful before you take your loved one here. My husband was released from a hospital to this facility. He had a trach and as long as oxygen was placed ver his trach he was ok. Unfortunately I found that after his treatments he oxygen cap was not placed over his trach. My husband only made it only four days in this facility before the staff found him experiencing "respitory trama" and he didn't make it. Please think long and hard before you place your loved one in this facility. My husband was only 60 years old before he lost his fight for life.
