My mother moved into Brookdale Lewisville. We know some people that worked at that facility, and it came highly recommended. I've been in there, and everybody's wonderful so far, I haven't been able to really dial in deep because I'm just now allowed in the building as an essential caregiver/an essential person that needs to come in every week. It's very clean, they do work very hard on that. There's bingo, music, and stuff like that, they can move around within there, but they're very limited in people coming in, so they just do inside activities.

Brookdale Lewisville seemed very clean. The staff seemed very friendly. The rooms that they showed us seemed to be very nice. I could picture my parents there. There wasn't anything about the place we didn't like. The only thing is the price. My parents just can't afford it. The residents that we saw seemed happy. They had activities for them. They have an outdoor space and transportation for them.

We visited Brookdale Lewisville. It was very comparable with the other facility, but we just didn't get that warm, friendly feeling when we walked through the door. We also didn't see the residents out and about and socializing as much as we did at the other facility. The staff were very friendly, it's just we didn't see as much of the stuff as we saw at the other one. The room was very comparable to the one my mom got, but it was a smaller room with a lot less storage. The dining area was big, open, and friendly. The upkeep was very good. It was a very nice facility. The staff was friendly. They were also accommodating. It was clean, and it was located in a nice neighborhood.

The only reason we didn't choose Brookdale Lewisville was because of the distance from where we're at. There was also a slight difference in the price compared to the one we selected (they're a little more expensive). I was treated wonderfully by the staff who normally gives tours. The room was very nice. It was just a suite, so it was small, but it was plenty big enough for a bed and a receiving area. So it was definitely adequate. The facility was very nice and the food was great, and they gave me an apple pie when I left. Everything looked very nice. They have a social director and they told me there were several activities. I've read in their information that they have transportation available, and I think once a week they take people out to go do something. In terms of pricing they're a little bit on the high end.

Our experience with Brookdale Lewisville has been pretty good, and we've had no complaints so far. They take the residents shopping, they play Bingo, which my mom enjoys, she watches TV there, and if they have a choir come in she'll stop by to join them. They serve three meals a day and snacks too. They have a vehicle that takes the residents to their doctors' appointments, but they'd have to take my mom out of her wheelchair, so we contact someone else who can accommodate her wheelchair.

My mom is in Brookdale Lewisville since last September. I visit my mom there three times a week. The food is actually very good. It is home cooked. It is nothing fancy, but it is filling, and it tastes good. The cook there is very good about what they like and don't like. They do a fantastic job. I think we got her to a perfect place. We do not have any complaints whatsoever. The staff is wonderful. I cannot say anything bad about this place. It has been wonderful. It has been a blessing. Her room is the perfect space for her. They clean it every week. It is accessible to the bathroom. There is a big window, and we decorate it for her because it is not furnished.

We saw Brookdale Lewisville. We did meet residents because they were all sitting out in the living room. We talked to them, and they seemed to like it. We did see the rooms, and they were nice. It was well-kept and updated, but it still looked like an older building. They gave us a fruit pie on the way out, and it was really good. They had a nurse on staff, they had a craft room like everyone has, and they did planting outside like a raised garden. My sister talked about like if there was a tornado drill and stuff like that, and they told us they had a van and a plan to evacuate. It wasn’t luxurious and the building wasn’t really a new building. It was updated, but it wasn’t new. The rooms were OK -- bright.

Healthy and tasty meals, wonderful activities and outings. The Staff at Brookdale Lewisville have done a lot to make me feel comfortable and wanted at their community. We placed mother at Brookdale Lewisville (formerly Sterling House of Lewisville) and then a year later she had deteriorated so dramatically with her Alzheimer's that we had to move her out. The place was amazing, and I love it. It's the most active group of seniors that I have ever encountered. Their original staff was amazing, and they were on the floor and super friendly. I don’t know if I would recommend it now after we have taken mother out because towards the end, it was starting to seem like any other nursing home. When you walk in, it seems like they have activity or painting class, a guest speaker, or singers. We had mother's day out parties and tea parties. There was always something going on.

I went to Sterling House and I was less impressed with it. The people there were very friendly. I didn’t care for it personally. The staff answered all of my questions. I asked for a copy of their social calendar. It didn’t strike me as well-maintained.

My visit to Sterling House was fine. The place looked nice and open. They have nice apartments. Their staff seemed nice too. It was a fine place but it was too expensive.

I visited Sterling House for my mom. Everything was great there. With regards to activities, during my visit, they had two or three people doing something. It was a great facility; however, their price was a little bit more than with the other facility.

I visited the Sterling House of Lewisville last June in finding a place to keep my mother since I believed it was time for her to go to a nursing home. The staff there was great! I loved the area and everything about the people. The amenities were only decent though. I felt like they could've put more into the facility considering the high price we have to pay. My mother seems to of fell in love with her new home now that she is there, and I love it. I would only rate it a four out of five stars simply due to the high price. In the end, I let my mother decide where she went and she picked here. She couldn't be happier. With it being close to home, having great staff, and the area around the facility being top notch, I couldn't think of anywhere else to have her in!

As I mentioned earlier my neighbor suggested me about sterling house. She had her cousin admitted there. We went there about 8 and a half month ago. Initially uncle was reluctant about moving into an assisted facility. When we went there he found the facility very pleasing. It was a home styled facility which really gives a nice touch of one being at home. The overall ambiance was very calm and quiet. The house was very well maintained and furnished. The behavior of the staff with other admitted personal was OK. I was expecting a bit more generous attitude of staff. The rooms were nicely managed by good placement of furniture. The view outside the room was very pleasing and calm. I found the eating place to be a bit congested with the layout of tables being too close to each other. The food which is served there is good. The menu has a nice dietary plan amalgamated in it. Other facility such as exercise was very good. They held various exercise classes there. One thing which bothered me a lot was the pricing. I found it to be a bit expensive. I might be feeling this way because I didn't perform any information gathering regarding other alternatives. Well, my uncle likes it so I was happy. :)

Nice. Pricey. If I could have afforded it, I would have placed my mother here.

The Sterling House of Lewisville was recommended by a friend in the region as a possible option for our aunt. It looked like a very nicely appointed community with a home-style atmosphere. We could see that the residents there were content and well cared for when we arrived. The pretty backyard features many places for seniors to enjoy around the grounds safely. The property also had plenty of park-like space with tranquil, large trees and nicely manicured lawns. As we walked through the building, we could see that the interior design was nicely ordered and easy to navigate. Each room had nice views with a calming, yet not boring décor featuring lots of fresh air and light. The main dining room had comfortable furnishings in a spacious decor. The residents are offered healthy, home-style cooked meals in a casual restaurant setting. The menus included many interesting dishes, as well as the usual American fare. Snacks are offered regularly throughout the day and whenever desired. The food looked and smelled delicious, as well as healthily prepared. For exercise, residents can also safely navigate the lovely garden pathways and courtyards. The exercise center includes daily yoga and aerobics exercise classes. The equipment is available throughout the day with assistance as necessary. The calendar of events included many activities include like different ways to exercise with nature walks and other outdoor excursions. The private rooms were decorated tastefully with a homey, light and airy atmosphere. Bathrooms were designed with safety seats and rails. Each unit has nice views of the surrounding area. The residents all looked very well taken care of and seemed content. It was clear that the seniors were really enjoying this living environment with attentive and caring staff.
