My brother has moved into the Terraces at Kingwood Town Center and we're very, very happy. We chose it because it didn't have fragrance. That was the first and foremost. Secondly, three meals a day are paid for. The price was $1,800 a month for a wonderful studio apartment. The young woman who represented the Terraces at Kingwood Town Center was wonderful. She went above and beyond to help my brother and to encourage me to give the Terraces a try. Everybody that I have spoken to has been respectful of what I've said, and they acted on what they've said. For example, if I've called and asked somebody to check on my brother or to inform my brother of something, they stop what they're doing and they go do it. It's just amazing. I've only eaten there one time, but my brother who is a little bit picky loves the food. He has never complained. They have wonderful activities. I wish they had more activities, but they would have probably more if they had more staff.

The Terrace at Kingwood Town Center is very clean. I like the menu and the snacks they have. I was thoroughly satisfied with the transportation to the doctor's appointments and little field trips to different places. They have a therapy room and an indoor heated swimming pool. The rooms are not large, but they are adequate. The food was very good. They have a cleaning service once a week. They have laundry service, too. However, they don't have a kitchen in the units.

We had seriously considered The Terraces at Kingwood Town Center. It was very nice. Everything was excellent. One of the advantages there is that they have a small swimming pool. At that time, that was something we wanted, but as my sister has aged, it has not been considered. The staff members were excellent. They're helpful. The rooms were good. They were acceptable to us. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. I had a good sense of it being a community where people could associate with each other and do activities. The dining area was clean.

I toured The Terraces at Kingwood Town Center. The staff was very friendly and thorough. I think what questions I still have were my fault, not hers. She didn't hurry me at all. It wasn't like, oh, I have to go to lunch or I have somewhere else to see. She was very thorough. She's been there a long time, and I know she knows what she was doing. They had a gym, an indoor swimming pool, a place for movies, and a place for jigsaw puzzles, just a room. They had a large room for activities. They had a smaller room for specific games. They had a different room for cards, and they had a room for some people if they wanted to get together and make some craft objects to give to needy people. And they did have a salon.
