My mom decided to stay here. It's a very caring and accepting community. Everyone is very professional, and they care about their residents and they respond quickly to needs. The bedrooms are larger than some of the other places that we looked at in the Kingwood area. They've been updated to some extent and they're very amenable to her needs. They serve healthy and tasty food. There are options most days and they are well prepared. They have bingo, church services, and workout facilities. There's a lady who comes in twice a month that does health and wellness activities with them. They have ice cream socials and the residents seem to like it very much. They also have a doctor or a PA that comes there so that they don't have to leave. There are rehab facilities and occupational and physical therapy on-site.

At Cypress Woods, I observed that the residents were out. I saw them in a craft program, I saw some in a craft program, I saw some in the cafeteria, and outside, I saw a group of people talking. They seemed to be happy. Everybody was engaged, so I liked that. The staff who gave the tour was really good, too. However, the facilities were under renovation. And the reason why it's not my first choice is they do not have access to a full kitchen in their apartment. They don't have a stove, so they w...

When I was touring Cypress Woods I had to talk to the lady at the front desk for a while, and three people who lived there came up and she helped them. She was very friendly and everything was very clean. It looked newer. I didn't get to meet the person that does the hair, but I got to see the place for that. They took me around to everything, so my tour was very thorough. They have a place where you can have your dog on the first floor, and a little area where your dog can't get loose.

I went here, and that's the one I've decided on. I really walked in there and felt at home. The staff member was very kind. They did not seem condescending to me at all. It was wonderful. She introduced me to the residents when we were going through different things, and even the residents were nice. It's not a big fancy place. They don't even have a big fancy exercise room, but I'm not a big, fancy person, so I fit in and felt very comfortable. They have a library in there and I'm a reader. The...

It is a good community. They have good activities for the elderly. They have caring available for them and I would recommend it to anyone interested in living there. They have prayer meetings, dominos, and various games, puzzles, reading, and movie nights. The physical appearance is good. They have a salon, a medical facility, and a caring unit. My mother has a one-bedroom unit, which has a kitchenette and a living room area, and it's a sufficient size.

We chose Cypress Woods for my brother-in-law because of the drive to get there. We liked it. It's a ground-floor apartment for him, and it has everything he needs. It's easier for us to get there as far as traveling goes, and it's easier for my kids to get there to see their uncle. We're just satisfied with it. Everything they had to offer was wonderful. They have activities, which we want him to get involved in; we don't want him just sitting in his apartment. They have exercise classes too. We...

Cypress Woods was nice. I visited during the pandemic, so the activities were not like it would have been under normal circumstances. We saw a sample apartment. They're all small. They have activities, but the activities are limited. The staff was fine, but the ones at the other place spent more time with me. The facility was clean.

We went to Cypress Woods. It was wonderful and Tanya was amazing. She was thorough, professional, informative, and all-around great. We were looking at a studio apartment, and it was handicap accessible. They had a fitness area, a hair salon, people to come and help you, and they even had transportation.

Right now, I'm in Cypress Woods. It's great. Everybody has been very professional and helpful. I got a studio. I barely got all my stuff in here, but that's not their fault, I just have too much stuff. It's working out fine. The housekeeping comes once a week and I have her change out my bedclothes. They provide me meals and housekeeping changes out my bed for me because I can't do that. It causes me a great deal of back pain to try to change the sheets and it takes me 30 to 45 minutes to do it...

I really liked Cypress Woods the most. It was super clean, it was very attractive, it's nestled back in some trees, yet they're not that far away from major highways and hospitals. The person that gave me my tour was outstanding, and she was their sales leader. Monday was her day off, yet she came in and gave me my tour anyway. The apartments were basically the same as the other one, but better kept. There I saw quite a few people, she called everybody by their first name or miss or mister, and ...

My mom became a part of their family. The residents were kind. It allowed her to maintain her independence without me having to worry what my mom was going to eat at meal time. The housekeepers were great.

We moved my father here from another facility with a heavy heart. I only knew the name given to me by a friend. This place with meeting Toryna was the best gift. Toryna guided me every step of the way. I could not have done this without her. She is the very best at what she does. I feel I made the right decision now. No worries! That is a relief.

My mother is moving into Cypress Woods. It's very nice, the people there are friendly, the environment there is nice, and they take care of their residents. They social distance and they actually have you quarantined for 14 days before you can come out into the enviornment, so they make sure that the environment is safe.

They would assist my 95-year-old mom when she could be rude and difficult and keep smiling. When my mom moved due to monetary reasons, she called Cypress Woods to bring her breakfast. They called her new residence to explain her needs. They were still helping mother after she left.

Cypress Woods was lovely. The staff was great, very helpful, and followed up with me. The apartment looked nice. I saw the activity room where they have lunch and play bingo. They have a gym with exercise equipment, and they have a pool.

I toured Cypress Woods and enjoyed it. A young woman toured me around, and I felt very comfortable with her. I saw a lot of different things, including large and small rooms. Once a month, they go to lunch to some restaurants. I had been there a couple of times, and I was able to sit for lunch with a lady I've known from church, and I was very glad. I was impressed with the staff member and enjoyed talking with her. She seemed to be on the ball, and knew pretty much what I asked about. I thought...

I toured Cypress Woods. It's very nice, but it's really for someone older. They treated me really nice, and we had lunch with a couple of ladies. Everybody was friendly, the apartments were nice, and the lady I was sitting next to had been there for ten years. They have a TV room, movie nights, they had a nice dining room, a pool table, and a library.

I like Cypress Woods' open area and courtyard. They have activities daily, a swimming pool, a gym with a trainer, and a bus that goes to different places. Once a week they have a schedule that tells them where they're going, like to the mall or to the casino, which is nice. They provide housekeeping if you want it, but they don't require it. They have a hairdresser who comes once a week and an activities director. The staff is excellent, informative, helpful, knowledgeable, and eager to answer q...

When I am old, I would like to be at Cypress Woods. It is my favorite one. The staff members were very kind. We got in there at dinner time, and they invited us, so that was a very nice gesture of them, and the food was delicious. I went there with my husband, and I loved it; I love the service, the food, and the place. The rooms were very neat and very spacious, and the grounds were awesome.

Cypress Woods is really very nice. I made several friends, and every room in the place has big front windows and door to patios. The meals are decent. I do exercise, some walking, taking care of the cats, and watching soccer games. They have a bus that goes out every day to stores, doctors and places that people need to go, and because of the transportation, you can get to wherever you need to go easily. We have three meals a day and lots of choices in each meal. The staff is very friendly and a...

Cypress Woods was a very nice facility. It looked good, and the rooms seemed nice, but it just didn’t feel like it would fit my lifestyle. The dining area was very nice and very clean and set up to where it would encourage people to sit down and share tables together. They have travel programs for the residents. and they do some in-house games to keep people involved. A very nice facility.

I visited Cypress Woods, and it was good. I had some folks who gave it good references. The place was clean and beautiful. The facility looked like a good one for us. About the staff, the ones we met were very nice. The schedule was posted on the wall; they had celebrations and movies. Plus they had game room for folk who play cards and chess. The food was good. I have a limited diet, but they were able to take care of it. The people are very friendly and very attentive. The place was extremely ...

I am really happy with Cypress Woods. At first he wasn’t happy, but now he likes it there. It's an independent living facility, but they have a big dining area where he can go to and have his meals. I really like that, and he actually gained 3lbs. He is happy now. I like that the management is nice, and I feel like he is safe.

I like the whole thing about Cypress Woods. You got three meals a day whether you want to eat it or not. They have an outside bridge club that plays once a week. There is also a man that plays the piano. It's just wonderful. All the rooms were very spacious and like that each one of them has its own balcony. They also have an outside access from their own rooms and I like that idea. They also have a room that has a washer and dryer in it. They have someone to come in once a week and do general c...

My husband and I live in Cypress Woods for over a year now. We want to stay here. A lady shared with us about it in Friendship Center. They bring 3 meals a day to our apartment or we could go to the dining room. The dining room is beautiful. The food is great. The service is fabulous. We never found anything to cry about. The other residents are happy. The management has a lot for them, parties for every holidays. They seem to have a good time. We enjoy it here.
