We work to restore and support the resident�s self esteem, dignity, and the resumption of as many of the daily personal tasks of which the resident is capable. Surrounded by family treasures and memories, the residents live in the comfort and privacy of their own rooms in a spacious, ranch style, one level home with built-in security features such as a secured patio and roomy backyard. They bond with and enjoy the companionship of other residents and inevitably form a �family feeling� that eliminates the loneliness or isolation often experienced in institutional settings. They enjoy luxury accommodations including exquisite furnishings in these fine homes.
We provide professional and sensitive care for the physical, emotional, mental, and social needs of our residents. Our care focuses on the safety and well-being of our residents, 24-hours a day. We have many excellent referrals and are licensed by the State of Texas as a small/large Class B Assisted Living with Alzheimer and Related Disorders certification.

Avalon Memory Care-Keller II had a lot of scheduled activities. I was there twice so I saw them in action and I know that they were doing it. The semi-private rooms were quite nicer. They were almost like two bedrooms with a shared bath. They had some patio-type space as well. The person that did the tour was very knowledgeable and did a good job of showing us around.

I looked at Avalon Memory Care - Keller II. When you first went through the door, they had like all these lounge chairs. They had this big TV, and they had blankets and the residents were watching TV. Their dining room is right next to this lounge area, and they had big, what I call, walk-through fireplaces where one side has a fireplace. They had chairs and couches set up, and the staff was telling me that some ladies would come in there and do their knitting and crocheting and all at 11:00 at night. It's just a quiet time for them. The staff showed me a husband-and-wife room. They had two beds in there. They had a nice big bathroom and a walk-in shower, and it was all state-of-the-art stuff. It was nice. She said they always had dessert out for them if they wanted it. They had little snacks and stuff around. The staff was a five. She was different; she had tattoos all over her. She was a nice person. It's almost felt like she didn't fit in. She was not dressed professionally. There was like a couple of questions that I asked her, and she told me she didn't know the answers to those questions that she would find them out. Everything was really clean. There was no smell to it.

I went to Avalon Memory Care - Keller II. I guess what I like the most about it is they had the most expensive floors, the most expensive chairs, the most expensive doors, the most expensive rooms as far as the decor, and I didn't like anything else about it. It was clean, it was nice. Some of the things I didn't like about it was it was dark and it was all quiet.
