My parents are moving into The Legacy at Falcon Point. The staff who gave the tour was awesome. Their director of the facility went with us on the tour, too, and it was so nice. My mom loves the chapel. She's Catholic and so that meant a lot to her. Everything is in walking distance for them. It's not too much of a walk, which is a big, big plus because they both use walkers. They were all so nice everywhere. Not one person didn't tell you hi, and even the residents were all very friendly, which was another plus. It was very clean and neat. It was a really nice facility. And my mom fell in love with the place, and when my mom fell in love, that's all it took. My stepdad said, 'That's it. This is the one.' The meal experience was excellent. We had dessert, too. They've got a private little dining area where residents can have guests, and they can eat there. We sat in there with the director, they served our food and the food was delicious. Everything was very good. I was very impressed with the facility.

I toured The Legacy at Falcon Point. The food was good. It wasn't like a narrow hall or anything. It was very open and wide with lots of windows. They had windows in the living room and the bedroom. You could sit down and be able to look at all the windows. The staff was very helpful. They were very explanatory. They went over every detail. They were the best as far as giving all the information you need and the information about long-term health care that I didn't know about. They went over all that, which was very informative.

The Legacy at Falcon Point was very nice. It was a two-story building, and that would be the issue that we had with it. But if it were for somebody who doesn't need a lot of care or a lot of assistance, it'd be extremely nice. We looked at the studio apartment there, and it only had a refrigerator. You could have a microwave, but they didn't have one in the room. It was very nice though. The staff who toured me around was very nice and very knowledgeable.

The Legacy at Falcon Point has a lot more activities, plus they give them the option of what they want to eat. If they don't have it on the menu, they could provide it. They have outings, which would be great for Mom if she moves in there. She will be in a one-bedroom type studio with her own shower and bath. They have a movie theater, a beauty salon, and several small entertainment rooms where they could sit down with a family, and then there is one section that has books. The staff was great, very informative, and very helpful.

The Legacy at Falcon Point was nice too. The rooms were small. The dining area looks okay.

We have had several family members over the years placed into several communities across the southeast US. This one is by FAR the best I have ever seen. Especially for memory care. Their philosophy is not simply to "provide locked doors and throw away the key," but rather build relationships with each resident individually and meet them where they are. The way they have given my aunt her "spark" back has been amazing! I encourage anyone considering memory care for their loved one to visit ther Legacy. Don't be fooled by "memory care only" facilities. We have done those before and they treat you like a psychiatric hospital. Legacy allows memory care residents to participate in all activities, according to their ability. We could not be more pleased

I moved my mother into this community a month and a half ago. I was very nervous how she was going to adjust as she wasn't too excited about the idea. The staff at Legacy has been amazing to help her and me through this transition. They have made sure she is given lots of love and attention, and have been very communicative with me as well. The nurse Rhonda has been great with my mom- she doesnt treat the residents like they are patients- but family. The brightest spots at the Legacy have been Fur hee at the front desk and Jerry the maintenance man. Fur hee gives me a hug everytime i come in and always has a smile on her face. Jerry has been great about adding shelving in my moms closet and helping us get settled in.

My Mother in law is at Falcon Point and it is a beautiful community. This staff is caring, knowledgeable, and professional; they go above and beyond to make Mom feel comfortable and she is fitting in excellently. I would recommend this community to anybody and I constantly brag on them!
