We felt like our tour of Caydance Assisted Living was informative. We walked away with a good understanding of what they provided and we were pleased with that. It is more located around commercial buildings, hotels, high rises, and those kinds of things. So, it wasn't as separate from other buildings, but my dad kind of likes the country and that's just a preference thing because the structure itself is fine, the layout is fine, and the amenities are fine. It's just the proximity to other buildings. The studio was a very good size, and we thought the layout was appropriate. So we were pleased with what the lady showed us.

Mom is at Caydance Assisted Living and so far it's been good. They're friendly and helpful. The facility is clean and organized. I saw some people out there doing activities like bingo, games, eating and everything. There just seem to be a lot of activity.

I visited Caydance Assisted Living. I'm sure this facility was fine, but I just didn't get a nice vibe when I walked through it. The rooms were nice. I guess the biggest thing was that assisted living had no security. If somebody walked out the door and was locked out, that would not be good. They had a TV room and a crafts area. They had places you could walk out. Everybody was friendly. My questions were answered. They went into details about what was needed in the room. They were very capable and very much into what they were doing. I thought they handled themselves well.

The staff at Caydance Assisted Living was very professional and friendly. I had a good time speaking to the manager or the person in charge of the tours. They answered all my questions. I also got to meet some of the nurses and caregivers, and everybody was very professional. I felt that everybody was well taken care of and they seemed happy. So, it was pretty good. I visited both assisted living and memory care. They had an activity facilitator (depending on the different levels of the residents) that provided different things for them to do, such as games and group activities, so they could socialize a little. The rooms were well taken care of. Someone had just left in the one unit I saw. It was in the process of renovation. They were doing a fresh coat of paint and the furniture was moved around. You could see that things were well-maintained.

I visited Caydance Assisted Living, and I like the fact that it's a one-story, and it has a little courtyard. The room layout leads out into the courtyard so they have the ability to go outside and back inside if they want. They have a nice little area set up in the courtyard with a little fireplace and a nice little lounging area if they want to get out of their room. For amenities, they have a beautiful study and a movie area.

I would not recommend Caydance. The service is below standard. Today a mouse was found in my mother’s room and reported to the med nurse and manager. Four hours later still no response. This is the type of service you can expect.

My mother is in Caydance Assisted Living. I spent a night with her, and it seemed like a nice place. Everyone was so helpful, sweet, kind, and gentle with her. The food was delicious and amazing. Her room is wonderful, but the living area that's hooked on to the kitchen is really tiny; you could just fit two chairs, a lamp table between them, and a television. The kitchen area was nice, and her room was spotless. I saw a calendar of events.

I visited the Caydance Assisted Living and it was very nice. I would have chosen that if I could afford it. It was inviting, they had a lot of people, and they had lots of games and different activities going on. She took me all around and showed me the rooms, they were very nice, cozy, not big, but clean and very workable. The dining area was open, large and very nice. They offered 3 meals a day, and you got to choose the menu. They took you to the doctor, hairdresser, and gave you a bath. The staff was very nice.

I thought Caydance Assisted Living was great, and my sisters also say it's wonderful. They have an activity center and everyone I met when I visited was very friendly. The staff seems knowledgeable about the situation, and they really seem like they'd work with my mom to help her be the best that she can be. Their assisted living has more activities, but they're trying to expand what the memory care does because they're getting more higher-functioning residents. They take them out to lunch twice a month, my mother gets to go and play ping-pong, they watch movies, and encourage the residents to come out and eat with everyone else. I thought the place was very pretty and nice, it's clean, and it seems new. It didn't smell of urine, and that's great.

This is no longer The Orchard, and things only got worse. We recently moved our loved one from this facility due to the lack of care and, in some instances, negligence of the staff. We noticed a drop in care when the management changed and we attributed it to an initial change. Over the course of the next year we observed a continual decline in care. We are very involved in our loved one's care and several issues were either ignored or never addressed. This facility was allowed to run with a temporary director who was attempting to run 2 facilities, and it showed. It is my opinion that this company is more concerned with your money than with your loved ones. We had a semi private room..there is no vent in the bathroom leading to a musky smell on a good day.

I visit The Orchard several times. I have a friend that lives here and she loves it. I always feel at home and like I'm apart of the family when I visit. The activity and dinning room staff are the best, you can tell that they really love there job. There's always something fun to do when I've visited. The facility is always clean it smells good. The owner should be proud of the team they have put in place.

The Orchard gets a thumbs down. The residents seemed like they were herded like cattle and not treated like individuals. It wasn’t as bright, attractive, or clean as the other places we visited.

The staff was very willing to work with everything that we had a question or concern about. They have a system whereby the rate or the quickness of their aides to answer the call buttons of their patient -- which I thought was impressive -- and it is over a certain number of minutes. The supervisor and the high reps get a text. They were very responsive to our questions. It made us a difficult decision. The rooms that we looked have a smaller living kitchen, and it seemed tiny; the bedrooms and bathrooms were larger and more spacious, but it didn’t seemed like it was very accessible for a 90-year-old person to go from the door into the bedroom.

It was really nice. It was pleasant. The rooms were nice, spacious, and brand new. They had multiple activities for the residents there. They took them places and do things. The stop seemed to be on top of it and really involved. The place was really clean and really nice. They appeared to be well managed.

My first impression was that it was spectacular. I was very warmly greeted, and I was taken throughout the facility which was immaculately clean, well-kept, beautifully-designed and laid out, and very bright. They had a very nice program for the seniors, and they seemed very active on the day that I visited. The lady there said they took them out 2 to 3 times a week. I would highly recommend them.

This community is the best among all the facilities I visited. The facility is very nice and new. The rooms are a little bit small. The staff were very professional, and very friendly.

My wife has been here for 2 1/2 months now. It's a relatively new facility. The service is real good, and everybody is really nice. It's a right fit for her. The food is good. She has a semi-private room, which is nice, but she has the whole room to herself because there's no one sharing on the other side. It's a really good facility, and we're very pleased with it. The staff is real friendly. She has a buzzer that they wear around their neck if you need anything, and when she presses the button, they're there pretty quick.
