Atria Cinco Ranch is the one that my friend would most likely end up going to. It was a beautiful community. It had a beautiful exterior and beautiful interior. It felt like going into a nice apartment complex, as opposed to going into just a nursing home. It was fresh. There were a lot of activities. We saw people doing activities. They seemed to all be very interested and engaged. We saw people walking, and we saw people outside on the patio. There are two dining rooms, and the one that we saw was very pleasant. It felt like a restaurant rather than a cafeteria. The people (not just the staff, but even the residents themselves) were all very friendly, so it was a very good experience. It's where I would want to go if I would need somewhere to move. I will keep them in mind for my future need. As I was leaving they gave me a little box of fresh baked chocolate chip cookies, so I thought that was a nice touch. Actually, the person who arranged my tour offered that if my friend's family would come down and want to tour with my friend to let them know. They will arrange for them to eat in the restaurant, and they will arrange for them to try the food, which I thought was a really nice thing to offer. The menu had a lot of variety to it.

My mom is at Atria Cinco Ranch. We're happy with the situation that we have presently. They're doing an OK job. The food looks very delicious. I've eaten there before and I have no complaints. They have a minimum number of activities. I think they could do better with perhaps more activities. The facility is very clean. They're on top of everything as far as cleaning, laundry, personal hygiene, and such. They have a salon. They can walk outside, but it's all an enclosed kind of thing. They have to watch where they go so they're not going all over the place.

Apartments are nice. Most of the staff are friendly and respectful. Amenities are as good or slightly better than other places in the area. However, my main complaints with Atria-Cinco Ranch are declining quality of services at the same time rent is increasing 15-21% across the board (after 8-13% increase last year), and management that is bordering on antagonistic when residents voice their concerns (“We will make more money if you move out, and you should expect another increase next year”). When my family member moved in 5 years ago, Atria was the best bang for the buck. Today, the decline in value is making other apartment communities in the area look much more attractive.

I toured Atria Cinco Ranch. The place was very clean and nice. The atmosphere was very comfortable and friendly. I was able to spend a good bit of time with the residents there. I enjoyed getting to know them and how happy they were. The staff seemed very happy, too. I had a meal there. There was a hot lunch available, but I ate at the salad bar which had a lot of choices. I have a restricted diet and my needs were only met at the salad bar. Mindy was the one who gave me the tour, and she was exciting, very professional, and knowledgeable. This place is top on my list.

I loved Atria Cinco Ranch. It was very modern and very welcoming. The accommodations were lovely. The people were cheerful. They offered to help us even if we chose another facility. I liked that they had a game area on each floor with a table for people to play puzzles or play bridge. They had a nice restaurant, a movie room, a pool, and a garden area where the residents worked. It was a very nice campus. They gave me a pie fresh from the oven when I left.

I visited Atria Cinco Ranch, it's a higher-end community compared to the other place I saw. The rooms were also very nice, they had full kitchens and they're very clean. The staff that I met were all very nice and all very friendly. They have a number of amenities including game rooms and church services. They also have busses or taxis, and they provide rides for the residents there if they need to go somewhere and bring them back. They have patios and gardens for the residents to plant various things, and they involve them in a lot of the gardening activities. It's all very nice.

We will take possession of an apartment at Atria Cinco Ranch. My dad lives in Austin, and I live in Katy, so we will be slowly moving him there through the month of April. We went to the tour on Monday. Mindy, the sales director that was taking us on the tour, was so wonderful. It was a cheery atmosphere. The residents were very sweet, and they came up and talked to us. We just really like the atmosphere. We love the people we're talking to. He will be in the building with all the activities. I feel like he would do better there. The reason why we jumped on it so quickly (I saw the tour on Monday and we're taking possession of the apartment on April 1st) is that they waived the community fee for this week only. Any incoming residents didn't have to pay the community fee, which was one month's rent. It saved my dad $4600 by making the decision. Plus, the other thing was there was only one bedroom available with a study, and that's what he wanted for his computer room. Those were the two factors that made us hurry to make the decision. I think it's a really good one, and we are both very happy with our decision to go forward. The whole thing is just beautiful. It's like a resort. In fact, my daughter is 35 and I'm 68. She was saying, 'Mom, this is where we're putting you.' She said she wanted to live there. It's very clean, very beautiful, very colorful, and very accommodating. We just really, really like it a lot. Everyone was so nice. I have not tried the food, but they gave us a homemade peach pie. It was wonderful.

We liked Atria Cinco Ranch, but it's over the top of my mother-in-law's budget. It had the most amenities out of all the ones we visited. It had one and one-and-a-half bedrooms and they had this little alcove that could be used for a desk or something off the kitchen, which was nice. They didn't have anything that she'd be able to get the dog out though, but it was probably the best setup of all of them. The one-bedroom deluxe had an office nook off of the great room where you had the kitchen. Then you had your living area, a separate bedroom, and a bathroom. You had this large area that would make a nice little setup for a sewing room, painting area, computer area, reading nook with a bookcase if you wanted, or a lounge for visitors to lie down instead of sitting in the living room while you're trying to take a nap, which was a little more private area. The staff had the information at her fingertips or could consult a notebook real quick that she had with her to make sure she was giving you the right figure for the rent. They had a couple of empty rooms that were getting new carpet and repainted and one was in process and the other one was move-in ready. They had the dining room and they had a casual sandwich bar type of setup that was available around lunch for people who didn't want to go to the dining room to eat. The only problem they had was they only gave you 20 meals a week and they had to fend for themselves one meal on Sunday because the kitchen was closed that time. It was gorgeous. The room was just a little small for me.

My father has moved into Atria Cinco Ranch. We chose it because of the location and the amenities. It's excellent when it comes to the quality, the care, and the amenities. The staff is very friendly and conscientious. I'm very pleased. They've got a workout gym, a salon, a cafe, a fireplace, a library, an art studio, a game room, a balcony that overlooks the facility, and a pool. They've got a shuttle service. It's great. We highly recommend it.

We had a very informative tour at Atria Cinco Ranch. They were able to answer all of our questions and were very friendly. The facility was well-kept and they were able to share many of the different experiences that the residents can take part in to remain vibrant and physically healthy. They offer quality meals three times a day, including snacks. We also toured several room styles and were very pleased with the amount of space and pricing attached to each offer. They offered us something to eat and surprised us with a freshly baked peach pie, which was delicious. So, we were very happy with our tour. When we visited, they were hosting a session for people that were new to the facility. They also had a happy hour that was happening just as we were leaving the facility. There was a library, different tournaments, games, and a pool. We were certain that they had several events scheduled throughout the month. They published a regular monthly calendar. They were excellent.

Atria Cinco Ranch is a great place, and the people are nice. The administration is a little pushy, but it's OK. It's a good place. Their rooms are a little bit small, not laid out really well, but they're good. The rooms are broken up, there is no wall off, they are a little more of an open plan. I think you'd be able to do more with it. My mom wasn't really pleased with the food. She said it was overdone. They have everything on site, which is good, and they will take you places.

My father is doing well at Atria Cinco Ranch. It's been great, and he's settled in there. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They check on my dad. My dad has a lot of eyes on him. They're just short staffed a little bit right now. The layout is great. It's not completely open yet because of Covid, but he's in a great station; he can get to everything fairly easily. They have activities, a swimming pool, a putt-putt course, bocce ball, a library area, and a happy hour. The food was really good. They try to go farm-to-table, and it's fresh.

Atria Cinco Ranch was a very nice place. My parents almost moved there. What attracted us was they got extra care on the side for them, like a 24 hour care which I could give for my mother. Even though we didn't get to try the food because of COVID, the lady gave us a pie. The facility was modern looking and clean. They have religious services. They also have a little van that could take you to your church or anywhere you wanted to go within a 10 mile radius. It felt homey, and it's just a beautiful place.

Atria Cinco Ranch was too expensive. It was $3,000 a month but that included everything. I liked that it's all senior people and you have access to anything you need. You can walk, there's ducks in the pond, you can take your dog for a walk, and it's everything you need. The room is beautiful. The staff is beautiful and they would ask if they can help you with anything. They're so helpful I got irritated. They have around the clock medical care, if you need it, at your disposal. The facility is beautiful. You can walk in the garden and walk your dog or feed the ducks. They have a barbecue area, a garden and you can plant flowers if you want to. Only thing is, they're not quite as active as I am. I'll be 69. I went to culinary school, I feed and neutered cats and dogs, I volunteer at the shelter and I drive a car. I think I'm overactive but I'm a bipolar too, I have to keep busy so I won't have to take medication. I checked out their price, I can't afford it. I'm on social security and I'm retired. It's out of my price range.

Our overall experience with Atria Cinco Ranch was good. It seemed a little complicated to get to; there were multiple floors, and lots of exterior stairwells that you had to get to. They're struggling with the whole COVID thing, and are being very restricted. The layout was a little hard to manage; it wasn't my favorite. The staff was very professional, straightup some of the more knowledgeable and professional staff. Because of the COVID, they're doing in-room dining, and everything was being delivered. They were keeping their people in the rooms which made me a little uncomfortable. On the other hand, they are being super clean, and everybody was gloved up and masked. They're being super diligent about the covid so you gotta give them credit for that. On the other hand, they're isolating these old people.

Atria Cinco Ranch only had studio apartments available, and they were more expensive than some of the other places. The staff member was very friendly, knowledgeable, and seemed quite caring. Everybody was heading down to lunch during our tour. The dining area was beautiful, very well laid out, organized, and very clean. They have an exercise room and a beauty shop. It's a very well-maintained facility.

I visited Atria Cinco Ranch. The management had an opinion, but just because I was touring it, it doesn't mean that I can afford to bring my father there. The place was decent and clean. It's a massive campus because there are multiple locations. The residents all looked maintained well. I just didn't get a good impression from the management. They presented some activities, but it wasn't as detailed as I would've wanted. The staff was decent and the ones taking care of the patients were good. They would be a five except for the management. I would definitely not rank them high. I didn't have a problem with the building itself. The rooms were very roomy and well-maintained, and I was overall very pleased. It's a relatively new facility.

Atria Cinco Ranch is very nice, clean, had good information, and had nice people. They have a small pool area, and the rooms are very nice, comparable, and not dated. The building itself is dated, as well as the common areas, but the rooms are fine.

My parents moved in last year right before the facility was sold to Atria. It has really gone down hill. The food used to be fabulous. Not anymore. They have made all sorts of cuts to the menu and the wait staff. The quality of food has decreased significantly. They were going to raise the rent; however, so many people are moving out that they decided not to. My parents are moving out.

I made a visit to this community a few weeks ago. I was with father inlaw and Husband. We were looking for an independent apartment and I have to tell you the place was Beautiful. The front desk staff were very kind and helpful as we waited for some one to speak with. The Executive Director greeted us and was so caring and compassionate. My father inlaw is not quite ready to move from Alabama, but when he does Atria Cinco Ranch will be the place we will choose.
