I stayed at the Carriage Inn - Huntsville for two years. It was a very good facility. They have quite a good staff. They only have a small assisted living area. The facility is well maintained. There are seven halls, and every hall has a little community place. They have a good dining area for everyone. They have a good activity director. She chose a good variety of things to do. I had one bedroom there, and it was a good size.

Carriage Inn Huntsville was pretty spacious. They had a little efficiency apartment that had a bedroom, bath, and a little living area with a kitchenette. They do church on Sunday and activities every day. They have transportation to and from shopping and stuff like that. I liked the staff and the residents seemed very happy there. They were welcoming. My cousin had a sandwich and she was really happy with it. The staff bring out your food to you. You don't have to stand up in a buffet kind of situation, and it wasn't crowded when we got there because it was like 1:00. I had a salad and it was good.

Carriage Inn - Huntsville did not provide the services that I need for mom because she's forgetful and confused and they did not have the next level of care yet. I liked the size of it and the activities, that it was a community environment and it had a lot of interaction and options for its residents. They were very helpful, very informative, and very nice. They offered food, but I did not have time to try it. The facility was very nice. It seemed to have all the different services that a resident would need and keep them engaged in the community there. They had a courtyard, a salon, an exercise room, and entertainment that was brought in from the community and even from a college, and they would take the residents on trips.

I didn't realize how big Carriage Inn-Huntsville was. It was bright and had good outside light. You could see nature quite a bit from the windows. It didn't feel closed in or anything like that. The lady that gave me the tour was very sweet. She showed me a couple of different apartments. The one that they had available, and then another that might be coming available that would fit my mother. So, I got to see a couple of the floor plans there. The facility looked pretty. There's just one place I saw that maybe had a few things on the carpet up in the apartments, but that, too, could have been just timing. It looked like it was fresh stuff. Not like it had been there for a long time. Maybe they strictly hadn't done the morning vacuuming yet. They had a recreation room, church services, and a piano where they could sing songs on Sundays. That is very important to us. There were tables where they could either gather or play cards or dominoes, and there were TV rooms. So, looked like they offered a lot of of nice things.

We went to Carriage Inn - Huntsville. They were friendly and the place was nice and clean. It was a really good visit. The person that showed us around spent a lot of personal time with us and answered all of our questions, so we were pleased with the tour. The food was very good. They were having a June celebration and there were a lot of out-of-town visitors, so the place was full. The only drawback for me was that the room was so small. The staff was very friendly, very attentive, and knew what she was doing. The facility was very clean, nice, and comfortable.

Our experience at Carriage Inn - Huntsville is excellent. The staff members overall are very, very good. My mom is kind of picky at times, and she has mentioned to me that she was irritated with some of the overnight staff, but I don't know if it's entirely justified. I would say the staff are good. The service is perfectly fine. We are completely happy with it. The food is good. The place is very clean. No odors. Extremely good. We've been up there even to eat lunch with my mom, and it's good. She jokingly calls it a castle because it's really pretty and it's large. There are activities. I was there yesterday, and they had a performer come in and sing. They had an ice cream social, too. There are multiple times when she's playing bingo and winning, and she's very happy. I also see some of the people playing dominoes, building puzzles, and that kind of thing. They have activities, and they try to be mindful of keeping them active. Surprisingly, this is not even on the same page as far as the type of facility and how good it is compared to the place we had my mom in briefly here locally near my home. Carriage Inn Huntsville costs less than what we were paying for this complete and total dive that was horrible here. As far as what the cost and what the market is, it's very reasonable.

I liked Carriage Inn - Huntsville. However, they didn't have anything available that my mom needed for the room size. It was a little bit more expensive on the level of care, but it was very nice. The staff was very helpful. She answered all my questions and gave me a nice tour. They have a lot to offer just like the other facility.

I toured the independent living here. It looked very nice. They had a big closet, and there was a good-sized room. You get three meals a day, so I don't have to cook. I could cook because they have a kitchen, and it has a stove. The dining area looked very nice, and they had an ice cream bar. When I was there, a lot of the residents were eating dinner. The staff that I met were very nice, very friendly, and seemed knowledgeable as well. They were excellent.

My dad has moved here. We chose it because of the availability, and the services they offered. Everyone was lovely. The staff members were extremely helpful. The food was good; very well prepared. They have an array of activities. I just saw the calendar, but I didn't attend any.

It looked like a good place. Everything was new. It's a fairly new establishment. The rooms looked spacious and clean. Everything seemed to be just what you might want. They did have amenities. The staff seemed to be good.

Truly amazing. The cuisine was rich and they had two choices. They had beautiful courtyards and the whole facility was beautifully decorated. The tour was awesome and Toby and Cheryl really made us feel at home. Toby answered all of my questions and he really put my aunt at ease. What a true gem in the middle of Walker County.
