My friend moved in, in May. We liked it because they're very, very big on catering to veterans. His accommodation is very lovely. He's in a private studio apartment in assisted living. The facility is very nice, very clean, and the people are friendly. They are doing some remodeling of the common areas, but right now they're still very, very nice. Now that Covid has lifted a bit, they can go out and do the little trips that they usually do. They usually have a resident of the month that gets to pick whatever they want to do, and they load them up on the bus and go. They also do bingo and other recreational things. They did have a little bit of a ban on traveling during Covid. The staff is fabulous. They're very helpful, and they try to get everything you need. They are very, very, very kind. All the staff that I've met have been wonderful.

We called Windermere Estates Senior Living, and we told them we were on our way. When we got there, they acted like they had no idea who we were. We walked around a little bit, but they still acted like they weren't ready for us. It's nice, but it's an older community. It's not as new and modern looking on the inside. There's also a lot of patients. It doesn't look like there's enough nurse-to-residents ratio. The staff was really nice, even though they acted like they had no idea who we were. They went ahead and stopped what they were doing and talked to us for a minute. The apartments weren't as nice as the other place, but they were nice and very clean. The place was big, so there was a lot of people. It didn't look like there will be individualized care there to me. The activity director was the one who we actually had a tour with, because she was the one that was standing in the waiting area when we walked in. She said that she was about to take the residents to Walmart. They go to Walmart once a week, so I thought that was pretty cool. Other than that, I didn't really ask about the activities. She's the activities director, so I know that wasn't usually probably what she does, but she filled in for someone else very quickly.

Windermere Estates Senior Living looks very bright, fresh, and uniformed. I have visited places where each room was different, but this one was all very uniformed. Everything looked freshly painted and there were bright pictures on the walls. The people there were nice, too. I saw the residents walking around or sitting in different areas. Some of the places that I visited, I don't even know who's there. They're really quiet and it seems like people stay in their rooms mostly. So, I thought Windermere Estates Senior Living was a vibrant and more active place than some of the places I've seen. The efficiency that I saw had a small countertop with a cabinet and a sink so you could put a coffee maker and stuff there. They have room for a small refrigerator and a microwave. The person that took me on a tour was very caring and gave me lots of information (things I didn't even think to ask). She was really good.

Windermere Estates Senior Living was very nice, very clean and everybody was very helpful and nice. The person who assisted me during the tour was Angela, and she was very nice and she's been getting back with me every so often. The food was really good, It was cooked just right, I liked it. This is where I want my friend to go. There's a gym that he liked that was there, they had a pool table and they had all kinds of things for them to do like bingo, puzzles, and stuff like that. Everybody was friendly there.

It is very good. The place is clean, the staff is very responsive, and it's a great environment. The rooms are clean, bright, and accommodating. The dining area is very nice and my mom likes the food. It's like a restaurant. They have daily activities, fitness, and other fun activities.

My mother is now a resident, and everything seems to be OK. The staff seems to be pretty nice. I have eaten there a couple of times, and the food is OK. The dining area is a big, open room with chairs and tables. They have quite a few activities like bingo and all kinds of things going on. Things in the community are just OK. They have plenty of stuff to keep the residents busy.

I liked the personalization here. The director knew all the residents’ names as she was walking down the halls. They came up to her just like it’s almost a normal activity. She’s very available and accessible. She had personal stories to share, and it was just a very warm atmosphere. She invited me to stay for lunch, didn’t seem rushed, answered all of my questions, and just made me feel really good about the choice. The rooms are clean, and they have wi-fi and refrigerators. They go in squares, but they’re not boxed out from activities and things that are going on. The hallways are wide and well-appointed. I would go there myself, and this is what I was looking for, for my dad.

We chose here because we felt like it was home for my father. The staff is very friendly and outgoing. They also opened their arms when we arrived so it added to the homey feel.

Our experience so far has been very positive. My father-in-law is much more engaged at this point. He is doing quite well. I have eaten there once, and the food was OK. He seems to be happy with it, and that’s really I like.

I came here as a volunteer. I am a special ed teacher and my students were volunteering. They had so much fun. The staff were so friendly. We all went on a tour and we got to see the main unit and the Alzheimer's unit. The atmosphere was bright and cheery. It was clean and didn't stink (like some other nursing homes that I have been to). The residents looked like they were well taken care of. I talked with several of them and they were very friendly. After the tour, we went and participated in some of their daily activities. They had an exercise class. The instructor was very entertaining and the residents were having a blast and getting in shape. Then, the director asked if we wanted to participate in a different activity- painting nails. So, we moved on and I had the opportunity to paint the nails of some of the ladies. The ladies there were a hoot! I had so much fun. I highly recommend this facility to anyone!
