My aunt has moved into Copperfield Estates. I felt like it was very homey, very comfortable, very clean, and very nice. It reminded me of a big apartment complex with all the doors on the inside, which I liked for security. I loved the office staff. They have nurses, but they have 24-hour security there. Their event coordinator is very good. There are always 3 or 4 things going on during the day for them to go to if they choose to. I've eaten several meals there, and the meals are really good. If you don't want the meal, they have about four different choices of what you can order every day like hamburgers, baked potatoes, chicken sandwich or a salad. And all the people are just very, very friendly. I've just been very impressed. The staff is awesome. For activities, they have a church, a beauty shop, a library, a movie room, and several game rooms. And they're always having several activities a day. And I feel like it's a very safe and secure place.

I toured Copperfield Estates. It was very good. They welcomed me and they showed me around. I got to see three different rooms, and they were very nice. They offered pretty good meals. They showed me the room where they exercise and do crafts. And they showed me the laundromat. They were all good. They showed me the parking area. They also have a courtyard.

We went to Copperfield Estates. They were very nice, but they only had cottages available. There's no reason for us to move into a cottage because that's no better than the house we got. In fact, it's less than what we got. I want independent living inside of the structure, and not outside somewhere. There was no problem with cleanliness; the rooms were adequate. I wouldn't say great, but adequate. The staff was fine.

We visited Copperfield Estates and I liked it. The prices are good too. It looked like a new building. The staff who did the tour told me that it was 17 years old and I was shocked because it was in great condition. I looked at a 2-bedroom because they said the 1-bedroom ones were not available. What I saw was a really clean and nice room. I saw their dining area where people are eating and I liked it. I went around their hallways and saw many people doing activities. There are people watching TV together and I also saw a place with an exercise bike or something like that. I was inside and talked to a lady who was probably the manager, who showed me a lot and answered all of my questions. I may have interrupted her a few times and she would stop and listen while I talked. I liked that she listened to me. I don't know how to explain it but I have a good feeling about the person. She also showed me the menu but we did not try anything there.

I decided to go with Copperfield Estates. We went there and we liked it from the beginning. They were friendly. The girl helped us a lot and gave us all the information we needed. They weren't pushy or anything. They just gave us the basics and it looked nice. The building was very nice. That's what drew us to it, to begin with, and all the activities they had. The rooms were OK. They could have been a little bit bigger, but you don't need that much at our age. I felt like I was home.

My friend likes Copperfield Estates. The staff was very friendly and patient, and we liked that. They answered my friend's questions. They gave us a free meal so we could sample the dining experience. They showed us all areas of the property and how to get there that my friend might be using, such as the therapy department. Overall, he was very pleased with everything. The dining area is directly to the left as soon as you walk into the building. There's plenty of space and lighting. They also have therapy. And included in the price is cable and Internet, which is also important to my friend.

I toured Copperfield Estates. They have everything I need, and all the activities I need, and besides that, they are a very eye-pleasing place. The staff was more than helpful. They have a library. They've got a gym and a lot of other things that I will not have any use for.

I went to Copperfield Estates. The staff was more than helpful. That's the part I liked. They were very professional and very helpful. I love that. The rooms were a bit small because I don't have a whole lot of stuff, but my television is 70 inches, not small. So I can't see it sitting anywhere. And I have to have a large TV because otherwise, I can't see it. I'm legally blind. So I need something large. I looked at the two-bedroom. I like the fact that it was more space, but it was still very congested. I'm looking for potentially my care provider who may be a person that may be there with me. That's the problem. So, you sit on top of each other like that, there's no space for that. I'm a person who likes to work out, gyms, and stuff like that. They mentioned the stores, but I liked all of the recreational activities that they mentioned. I loved those outdoor things. I like that. So, those amenities, that was what was hard to part with because they had a lot going on. And I appreciated that because that keeps you moving and going. And me being early on diagnosed with glaucoma I want to have things to do so that I'm not sitting in the room thinking about glaucoma and your anxiety getting the best of you, depression getting the best of you. So, that helped me out a lot. That would help me. So I like that part. I like that.

Mom moved to Copperfield Estates. We chose this because out of the four different locations we looked at. This one was the cleanest, and the staff, from the manager to the agent in charge of leasing, are very professional, so they have a great working staff, and this is best suited for those seniors that are still active. It is independent active living, but they have nurses available if you need to go ahead and hire one. This place has got to be one of the best I've seen in Houston. For the price that we pay, it's worth every penny. They have an activities director. Her name is Monica and they put out a monthly newsletter with all of the activities that are available. They have a bus if anybody wants to go shopping, and they started something where if you don't want to eat, they would have a lunch where they'll go to either Outback Steakhouse or they'll pick a restaurant that they can go to. Onsite they have the activity center. We just had a wine tasting contest last month where residents were allowed to come down and maybe have two different types of wine. Not to get drunk or anything, but just to sample different wines. Then they had a sampling of different IPA beers. They had different cuisines and different desserts. On Mother's Day they had ladies making tea and flowers, so they have a lot of activities available, and it's up to the residents to decide whether they want to go or not. The only other thing, in retrospect, even though the facility is clean, it is starting to fall apart. Like in my mom's apartment right now, we had put a service request for her back door when she first moved in. She can't get out her back door to sit out on the patio, and so when maintenance finally showed up, they broke the lock, and she can't even open up the door. It's not a major concern, but I feel that that's been overlooked.

Copperfield Estates showed us everything we needed to know. It was a nice place. It looked like a place where mom would be comfortable at least. We liked the residents that we saw there. They seemed down to earth and the staff was very good. They were already waiting at the front door for us pretty much when we got there. It had a warm atmosphere. The size of the rooms was very acceptable and we were alright with it. The dining area was very warm and friendly. It was full of people enjoying each other socially. It looked like everybody was being very friendly with each other.

Copperfield Estates is perfect and it's four minutes from my house, so it would be great, but I'm afraid that my aunt is going to need to move to assisted living and I don't think they offer that. The staff during the tour was great. They have three meals a day. They have a menu and the menu looked really good. They had other things if you didn't want what was on the menu. The one-bedroom I looked at is 549 square feet and it was a good living space. It had a living room, a kitchenette, a bedroom, and a bathroom.

I toured Copperfield Estates. They had all the amenities. I liked the dining area. They have a nice cycle menu. They had weekly housekeeping. They have a lot of activities. The rooms are a little smaller. The washer and dryer were on the floor and not inside the apartments. The staff is very pleasant. They have a salon and activity rooms. They have a room where they can do chair aerobics.

My first impression of Copperfield Estates was when I pulled into the parking lot. I was so taken by the building with its balconies and the layout of the building itself that I had to take a few minutes to just sit in my car and take it all in. It has a country feel, schools are across the street, and it sits back from the street. I felt for a moment that this could be the backdrop or setting for a Sweet Magnolias movie. When I entered the door to access the property I was greeted by Ryan, a jovial young man, and a smiling receptionist as well. Ryan took me on a tour of all three floors, all of which are so nice and bright due to the wide selection of windows. I don't remember the correct name of every public area room he showed me, but none of the areas I saw (the game room, theater, workout area, library) were spacious. I think Ryan told me there are 100 apartments there, which is a nice amount of people. He showed me several apartments including a guest suite for visiting family or friends that they provide. He also told me that if I wanted to visit San Antonio to visit family, they have another facility there - and there would be no cost for me to do that. How amazing is that?! I think they totally rejuvenate each apartment when it becomes vacant, so a new resident basically gets a new apartment. I was invited to join the residents for lunch, and I'm so glad I stayed. We had beef stroganoff (with true pieces of beef) together with brocollie, a homemade roll, and lemonade, tea, milk, or water. Dessert was provided in the form of a piece of lemon cake. Ryan had brought me into the dining area and placed me at this particular table, and I visited with two new residents. What a treat that was for me! I watched Ryan as he was weaving among the tables in the dining room, and his smile never left his face. People .were glad to see him. This place is fortunate to have Ryan there. In fact, I felt the energy of Copperfield Estates to be one of loving each other and helping others. I have never found a place like this.

We liked them. The cafeteria was nice because it was a large open area. There was also a private formal dining area for families. They had activities throughout the day. They had a laundry room. They can cook dinner or play games, sit down and have a conversation with somebody or go watch a movie. There were a lot of options. We liked the idea that they could come and go. It was more or less like an apartment, with just some oversight. The staff was very helpful and very knowledgeable, and she answered all of our questions.

Copperfield Estates was nice and very comfortable. It felt like home. It was very warm and inviting. The people that worked there that I met were very professional. We looked at three different rooms. I liked all the rooms that we visited. They felt like home and it was very comfortable, very similar to what my parents have currently. They're more like a small apartment with a small kitchenette. It's very clean and very nice. They have different people come and do bingo, they have movie nights, and on the second floor, they have a place where they do physical therapy. It seems like they have lots of activities. It's easy enough to visit. We saw the exercise room, that was good, and they have a kitchen downstairs where you can cook your own meals if you'd like to. If you had somebody special, they had a private room in the cafeteria in case you wanted to dine privately, maybe if you had family come over or what have you. They provide three meals a day.

I toured Copperfield Estates and the people were very nice. I liked the fact that even though it's an independent living, they take care and handle the people from the beginning to all their needs without having to relocate. The person who gave us the tour was also great and they were very easy to work with. The rooms were fine. I think they had bingo and different things going on too. They said that they took their people on a cruise at one time, so that was pretty nice. The place was very clean and they were very professional. I have no complaints with Copperfield Estates. We were considering them very strongly.

Once a week, I get my bed changed, bathroom cleaned, dusted and floor vacuumed. My food is brought to my room 3 times a day. In the afternoon, at 2:30 there is a snack tray out with drinks provided. The servers are very friendly and if we ask them for anything, they try to get it if possible.

We visited Copperfield Estates, which was built and arranged with its sister community that we've also been to. The people there were extremely nice. We liked the apartment that we looked at. It was very nice. The dining room was pretty much set up like where I am now. I didn't think it was quite as pretty. We ate there, and it was also very nice food. I'm always very particular about food. They had an extremely nice staff, and the people there were very nice. When we ate there, some of them got up from their tables and introduced themselves. When I looked around the dining room, everyone was smiling and talking. Everyone seemed to be very happy, which means a lot. The staff was very friendly. It was a very clean and beautiful place. The person who helped us out during the tour was very nice, though she's not there anymore.

Copperfield Estates was good. I had lunch with two delightful women, and we got to talk about the different activities there. The 1-bedroom apartment was nice, and it had a full kitchen with oven, microwave, and drawers. They had a library and a place to work out. The staff was good. The food was good. The building was nice.

We liked Copperfield Estates. It was very nice and open. The dining room area is very nice, there's an elevator, and it was a quiet place. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, they took us on a tour, and it was very informative. They have a bus to take the seniors to outings or to the store. You can also have a car there and they also have a little gym. It is a very nice place.

I visited Copperfield Estates. Their landscape was very nice, and the person who greeted me was extremely nice. It was a nice setup. Everything was pleasing to us, but it was too far for us. They have breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. They have activities like arts and crafts, and they even go on little shopping trips from time to time. They have a shuttle that would take us to our doctors’ appointments, but we would have to let them know ahead of time. We looked at a 1-bedroom and a 2-bedroom, and the 1-bedroom was fine, but I prefer to have a 2-bedroom. I think it would be a great place for a couple to live.

Copperfield Estates was beautiful and really nice, but my sister-in-law has to have more care than what they could offer. The room was spotless and very nice, but they said that they could not change her diapers. You have to be on your own to live there. We saw the activities room. They were making some kind of decoration and had a room just for that. They had a library where they could go and read. The residents were sitting down in a little lobby area and looked very happy.

Copperfield Estates was great. The seniors gathered together in the common room. I had a good tour. The staff showed me pretty much everything and seemed to be caring and very nice. Their apartments were beautiful and spacious. It had a great view when you opened up the patio; you could see the outside, and it was beautiful.

We found Copperfield Estates for my sister. They have studios, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments. It doesn’t offer anything medical, so if you need medical, you have to hire that on top of everything else. The facility is very nice, though, with nice staff and excellent food. They have bingo, movies, card games, and lots of activities happening four or five times a day.
