I moved into Clarewood House Senior Community. It's a wonderful place. The food is good. You always have yellow or green vegetables for the entrees. The cookies come out of the kitchen warm. It's been here a long time, so it's a little older building. But because it's been built since 1950, the apartments are so quiet. You just don't hear anything from next door. We don't have a pool and that is a drawback for some people. I'm in a studio apartment. I have a lovely big window, so I don't lack sunshine or light. Some of the staff have been here for 25 to 30 years. They're all nice and helpful. I'm learning to play mahjong. Otherwise, I play rummy, too. I don't play bridge. I do Bible study and Christian fellowship, so it's nice to have that here. It was less expensive than anything else that I looked around and found.

Clarewood House Senior Community was okay but it was a high-rise type building. They have security though. As soon as you pulled in, they would have security, which is a good thing. The apartments were kind of small though. And it was an older building. They're trying to update it. They have a coordinator that does social events and things like that. Everybody there seems a lot older than we are, and we don't like the location where it is.

I visited Clarewood House Senior Community yesterday. I like it. I think it's a great place. Excellent service. The facilities were excellent. I know that there were lots of amenities and I liked them. They had a salon and a swimming pool.

Clarewood House Senior Community is beautiful. It's gorgeous, but the cheapest unit is $1,275. There's security at the gate. It's clean. The lobby is clean. Everything is so clean. The staff who gave the tour was on point and very professional. I was pleased with everything, even the parking lot. It's very safe. There is a guard at the gate. The parking lot was immaculate, not a gum or a piece of paper on the ground. Everything was clean. The floor was shiny and immaculate. I felt welcomed when I stepped in. The dining area was very clean, too. I would highly recommend it but you have to be able to afford it.

My brother is going to be put on a waiting list at Clarewood House Senior Community. The thing I liked best was all the amenities that it's got. The public areas were just beautiful. The other residents even said that they loved living there. I don't think there was anything that I didn't like. It was nice. The staff was wonderful. It was very clean. It felt very happy, very pretty, and it looked very inviting. The sizes of the rooms were about average, and the layout was average.

Overall, Clarewood House Senior Community was great. It's a nice facility. They offer a lot of stuff. The apartments are really nice. The community is very clean. We were very pleased with them. The staff was very good. He explained everything very well, showed us everything, and answered our questions. They had a gym and a little cafeteria. The library area was very nice. The outside, where you can sit out, was very nice and peaceful.

Mom moved to Clarewood House. It's a nice facility and it was what's in our cost constraints. The staff has been great. It's very well kept. They have a gym and a salon. They also have a church located on the premises. Everybody looked happy.

Clarewood House Senior Community was pretty nice. It wasn't dirty or anything. Nothing out of place. I liked the size of the rooms. They have their own things and their own space. They were friendly. The dining area was kind of small and it was fine. The only thing they could improve was getting information to the people, like how they can get in for Medicare, because we kind of just try to figure it out.

We went to Clarewood House Senior Community. My grandmother said she loved the library. She loved the amenities. She thought the space was a good size for her as far as the actual unit. The staff was very nice and knowledgeable. There's good communication. They had a meal plan, but they also are one of the places I know so far that you didn't have to have the meal plan. In most places you have to have it. This place, was optional, which we loved because my grandmother could make her own meals if she wanted. The staff all seemed very friendly. They were all smiling, waving at each other, talking, and the people who helped us were very friendly and kind.

Clarewood House Senior Community was nice, well-kept, and clean. They had plenty of activities for people to do. The staff was very nice. She answered all my questions. I wasn't impressed with several of the rooms because of the way they were set up or the view out the window. I checked the dining area, but I didn't eat anything. The gazebo was nice. They had a library. They had puzzles that you could put together. One lady was waiting for her friends to come down and play cards. They had movies. They had plenty of things to keep you busy. The outdoor space was scenic and pretty. There wasn't anything spectacular about the facility, but it was better than it could have been. Nobody was scheduled to give the tour, so I had to wait maybe a half hour or so until somebody came along to do it. They're not prepared. The building is still in progress. The floor that they couldn't show me was getting remodeled.

We have decided to keep my mom at Clarewood House Senior Community where she has been comfortable for 7 years. They've got good activities, like puzzles and bingo, and they do some crafts. It is a nice home. This facility is first class. Lisa, the RN, called me to update me if it's okay to give her a flu shot and Covid and all that. She calls me if the doctor needs to update her medication. So, they're just superb. The staff is very professional, caring, and quick to respond to any problems. I couldn't ask for a nicer home for her. Meals are included, and she's very pleased with it. The only thing is she doesn't like their ice cream. She tells them what she needs or if she needs her food served in her room. She's very pleased with the food. She fell and broke her hip, so they had to put her down on the first floor and they just took excellent care of her. They've put a mat down and rails on the bed and got her through the fractured hip.

Clarewood House Senior Community was a nice place, but some people are attracted to some things more than others, and that's not my mom's kind of thing. I saw the models and I liked them. It was a nice tour and it seemed that the accommodations would serve those who were looking for that type of dwelling place. It would serve them well. It was nice and I liked it. I think everything was fine with the people. When you have a lot of people, there's just different stuff that goes on. I think everybody's doing the best they can. Everyone was very nice and friendly. Everybody was trying to do their job.

My experience with Clarewood House Senior Community was very positive. The environment and the staff seemed very helpful. It would have been a great facility. It is an older facility, but the units were well- kept and up-to-date. They had ranging domiciles based on what the individual's needs were.

Clarewood House Senior Community is a very small area. It's one building that has the apartments and the amenities. The apartment itself is not updated. It just was a very closed in space, and did not seem very welcoming. It seemed clean. The staff was very friendly and answered all our questions. They have like a garden that you can walk through, they have an activity room, and they do weekly shopping trips. They have a dining space where they offer meals.

Clarewood House Senior Community felt like a hospital, but it was very clean. It's got big hallways and lots of rooms. It's like a skyscraper with 12 floors and I just don't want to live in one. Other than that, the staff person was very helpful and very knowledgeable. He did a good job and they have crafts and stuff for the residents. It just wasn't a fit for me.

I got to tour Clarewood House Senior Community, which was more expensive than I thought it was going to be. But it was a nice setup and they have everything you need. The apartments have a kitchen so you can cook, they're very nice, and bigger than I thought they would be. They provide the stove and stove top, refrigerator, you just supply your own pots and pans and things like that. They have meals, but they cost you more money because they're not included in the base price. The staff who took me around was very nice and friendly, he's a nice and good guy, but he's new to the business, just about three months. I saw people come and go for walks.

The grounds of Clarewood House Senior Community are large and park-like. There are a lot of benches and picnic tables around the grounds. Everything is very secure. The room is quite nice. The staff member who accommodated me was very informative. For activities, they take them to the different grocery stores at least twice a week, and I think they went to Walmart once a month. They have had wine tastings. They have a dining area where you could meet and greet friends. If you wanted to have a party, they have two different areas where they could cater food, or you could bring the food in. They have a library, too. The food smelled really good, and the dining room was lovely.

My tour of Clarewood House Senior Community was very informative. The staff who gave me the tour was very professional and very helpful. He tried to see how he could work out any problems that I had. He was excellent. He was very nice. He answered all my questions. He showed me one of the apartments. He explained that they didn't have any vacancies at that time. He put my name on the list and said he would get in contact with me when they have something. He even made a suggestion on how I could work out something with the security deposit. The apartment was very nice, very clean, and well laid out. They had everything that I need. The dining area was clean and very well laid out, too. We didn't go into the activities and amenities.

Everything at Clarewood House Senior Community was good. It was a large facility. The staff who gave me the tour told me the different options that they have and the different levels of care that they offer. He showed me a studio room and an apartment. The dining area that I saw was big.

We toured Clarewood House Senior Community and it was a very nice place. The people were very nice and my mom seemed to really like it, too. They had an outside area for residents to get out, walk around, and enjoy. The community areas were very nice as well. They had a hair salon that you could use, group travels to the grocery store, and different clubs (like gardening clubs, if they're interested in participating). The building was older, but it was still very well-kept and clean. There was plenty of space. It looks like a small studio apartment, which was just what my mother was needing. The only issue I had was that when we filled out an application, they took a very long time to get back with us.

I liked the security that Clarewood House Senior Community has. I liked that nobody could just walk in. The staff seems organized, too. Although they need a little bit more staff, everything else is fine. The manager and everybody else was nice. They were actually playing bingo that day of our visit. They have a dining area, a garden, and a little patio for the residents to walk around. So, it's real nice.

We toured Clarewood House Senior Community. It was an interesting arrangement with the lady who's responsible for the marketing area. She took her phone and we did a Zoom tour of the different sites. She filmed the model that I was interested in, and the larger one, she walked through the facility and dining hall on a Zoom call. Then we went to go see it in person, but she was not available for that. Her boss, who is the executive director there, showed us through and gave it more of a business viewpoint, but he was very kind. I like what we saw there, it was a nice facility. What I had against them was they were a little bit far away from my daughter. The apartments have a full kitchen setup. Instead of having a laundry service or laundry shaft in the apartment, they have community coin-operated washers and dryers. They charge a quarter to run the washer and dryer, and they said that the reason they did that was to keep people from picking up the laundry facility for small loads. They found that by giving them a quarter for a particular load, they'd be using them for more loads since they have to pay for it. They were kind of landlocked in a commercial area. There were not a lot of green spaces if you were looking for a setting where you could go and sit out in the open and just contemplate life.

I toured Clarewood House Senior Community. It's nice and it has all of the amenities that you would want in a home. The only thing about that was the price; my brother definitely could not afford it. But it was nice. It had the strength training room or the weight room, and it had the beauty shop and the barbershop. The rooms are about the same. They're a nice size. They have a living area, a small dining area and a little kitchen. The person who gave me the tour was very good. They knew the layout of the place, so they showed us whatever they had.

Clarewood House was older, more affordable, and a large community, kind of in not the best location. It's in Houston over in the Sharpstown area. The facilities haven't been updated. There were some spacious rooms, but the ceilings were kind of lower. It kind of felt more like a motel with smaller windows. They jumped into what size room we wanted, and they didn't ask about my mother. The staff was nice, relatable, and young. I don't feel like she was a salesperson. She wasn't as polished; I don't know if that's a good thing or bad thing. I felt like she was doing her job, but she wasn't trying to sell me on it. It had a darker mood because the facility was a lot older and not updated.

Clarewood House seems great, and everybody seems really nice. I'm very happy with them. My mother is in independent living. The dining room is very nice. So far, everybody's been very helpful and great. It also seems like there's plenty to do.

My friend has already moved into Clarewood House. It's a very nice facility. The apartments are nice and clean. The staff is excellent. Overall, I would give it a very high rating. They have a library, a media center, they have people to help you with your media problems, they have planned activities, and each floor has their own activities. The people that live on each floor have a way to get together in their own floor lobby, to meet and play cards, or whatever they want to do.

My parents-in-law were in Clarewood House, which was very nice. We really liked this facility. They had many levels of care, which worked out because that way they could segway from one to the other. Their room was perfectly nice and had a one-bedroom, a living room, and a kitchen with a non-working stove. One of the problems was they almost burned down their house because of their illness (Alzheimer's), so it's good that they did not have the stove working there. All of the meals were supplied, and the food was good. My father-in-law owned a restaurant before he became ill, and he was pleased with the food. Several times, my mother-in-law got out and escaped, and that is the only reason why I wouldn’t give it a 5. Other than that, everything was just fine. They had a lot of different programs. They brought in dogs to pet, had arts and craft, and a choir. They were all caring people who went out of their way to make sure everything was OK. I found that they were very intuitive about what needed to be done to help them as well.

Clarewood House would be a very nice place. I think they had six or seven different room plans, but they’re all too small to even turn around in. They had a very special program, and everything is done well. I know 10 people who are living there, and they speak highly of it and like it a lot. The common areas were very nice, and I liked the common areas just fine. I know the place, and like the people and the way it’s run. The food is excellent. I don’t like the location because is too far from where I’m familiar. It was the only thing that I didn’t like about it. I actually like it, but it’s just not in a good place for me.

Clarewood House is faith-based through the Methodist Church, which was one thing I liked personally. They had a chapel, and we go to the church. The staff and rooms seemed OK. The atmosphere was fine. It seemed like they had a lot of activities, like people playing cards and a jewelry sale.

My mother has been in Clarewood House since May of 2006. We heard of this community by word of mouth. It has been there for about 15 years. The staff treated my mother fine. The food and dining facility are good. I have no complaints. They have movies, bingo, and a workout facility. They have exercise by video every day. They have a library and a beauty shop. They have a chapel and a full time chaplain. They have a bus driver when they go to the grocery store. They have game day and snacks on the porch. They even have couple's night. The room she has is about 600 square feet. When we first moved there, she thought the room was too small; now it is too big. It depends on your need. They have two bedrooms, one bedroom, and studio rooms in Independent Living and Assisted Living. They have a dining room on the 4th floor which is all assisted living. They have a doctor that comes in on Tuesdays. They have an extended care, and the people that lived there are prioritized on the list. The facility is top of the line and the most reasonably priced.

We had mom at Clarewood House. The staff are excellent. Everyone is very kind and friendly. It has been a very positive experience. Mom is in a studio that has a kitchenette, and I feel like you really got good value for the money. It is recently updated as well. I haven't eaten there, but mom says the food is fine, and she likes it. Their dining room is restaurant style with napkins and four people to a table. They have a lot of stuff. They have an activities room where they play bingo and Wii bowling. They also have a cooking class.
