I like Brookdale Cypress Station. I like the size of the apartment because I have a three-room apartment. I have a living room, a kitchen, a bedroom, and a big bath. The staff here is phenomenal. They are great. They are so accommodating to everything you need. The food is delicious. It is very good. They learned your likes and dislikes. It's just a pleasant atmosphere. I haven't gotten involved in any groups or anything else regarding activities. I moved in last week, so I'm just still getting things organized. I don't require assisted living, but they're here if I need them, and that's the good part. The nurse is here 24 hours a day. The staff is great. I haven't encountered any areas that I think are problems. Everything is spectacular. For activities, I know they have bingo and poker night. Some of the women went out to Walmart this morning after breakfast. There's a big courtyard, too. It's very secure. I don't feel the need to lock my doors. It's nice. Another reason why I chose this community is because they have a gym, and I could see my PT there.

My husband is currently in Brookdale Cypress Station. It's very nice, well-kept, and well-maintained. The staff is lovely and very personable. I don't have anything bad to say about them. It's all good. The food is very good. The residents seem very happy. Most of the time everybody is very quiet and eating. It's a nice atmosphere. They do a great job of letting fresh air in, getting patients out on pretty days, and trying to keep everybody comfortable and entertained during the day, and I just appreciate that. They have activities every day. You can participate if you want to. Even if you don't participate they try to keep you in the general room just so you're getting stimulated, which is nice.

We toured Brookdale Cypress Station. The place is very neat. They care for the elders, which is the most important. Cherry gave me all the information. She was so kind, smiling all the time, and that's what I need for my friend. She needs a lot of loving people who treat her like she's at home. When I went there, I felt like I was at home. All the people that Cherry introduced to me were very friendly. They smiled and they told me, "Enjoy your tour". The room is perfect. It was clean. The space is perfect, and also the design is amazing. They share the room, and it's like my friend has a neighbor, and that's wonderful. They have wonderful living rooms, dining rooms, and kitchens. They have a calendar with activities. The menus for the day are posted everywhere, so the residents will know what they are going to do, and what they are going to eat. We went to the activity rooms where they played games, and did crafts, and one of the ambassadors was helping in that area. She was introduced to me, and she's a very kind lady. They have a place where they can go outside to enjoy the sun. They also have a piano so they can enjoy music as well. I like Brookdale, it's a very warm place.

The visit I had at Brookdale Cypress Station was good. The facility and building are nice. It had a more luxurious feel to it. They had a good-sized bedroom apartment. It was a pretty big facility with a lot of rooms, depending on what you're looking for. It could be overwhelming if you're not wanting a place that big. They have a lot of facilities and a lot of amenities. The dining area was fine. It was a big dining area with a lot of seating. It was standard.

Brookdale Cypress Station was very clean, but it was a little older. They seemed to have very organized events, and we enjoyed that. The staff who gave us the tour was very friendly, very helpful, and answered all of our questions. We saw the apartments, a game room, a nice atrium area outside for walking when the weather's nice, a cafeteria, and they had several different group areas.

We had an in-person tour of Brookdale Cypress Station. The associate was very friendly and informative. The nurse kind of went over the assessment, what care would be required, pricing, and availability. Overall, it was very satisfying. I saw one room, which was a small apartment. And then I viewed a larger apartment, which was very nice. It would accommodate my relative and her belongings. It was very clean. They have activities there, which I was very impressed with. They do crafting and exercise.

I toured Brookdale Cypress Station. I was not crazy about the fact that the rooms were on the third floor and the dining room was on the first floor. They had a very nice library, but that was the only good thing about it. Their bedrooms were larger than in the other place, but the closets were still small. I didn't see any activity. There was no garden, the exercise room was small, and they had no pool. I didn't see any residents going around, I didn't see any happy people.

I toured Brookdale Cypress Station. It's a lot more upkept than the other place. It was bigger, and the dining room looked nicer. Everything looked nicer about it. I like the location, too, because I can be there in literally three minutes. The only person I was involved with was the marketing lady, and she seemed very nice. The rooms were fine. The size was average; it looked very good. In terms of location, it's near grocery stores, restaurants, and hospitals.

We have completed our tour of Brookdale Cypress Station. It was a Saturday, so a lot of the staff that they would normally have weren't there. I like the look of the facility, and I like the rooms. Each room had its own bathroom inside the room, and it was set up like a mini apartment. The staff that was there was very, very attentive to the residents, and it had a feeling of being at home inside the facility. There was a board that listed the activities that they have for the residents for every day of the week.

I went to Brookdale Cypress Station. It was beautiful. The rooms were a little smaller than what my mom has now. The staff was awesome. They were friendly as can be and very accommodating, very, very nice. We took a look at the dining area and they gave me a sample of the menu, a menu for that day, but I couldn't tell if it was the same or better than the one she's in. It was a very nice place. They took us into a library to sit down and talk after the tour. And I saw that some of the chairs were ripped, but other than that, it's not that it was dirty or that everything looked old, it was pretty okay.

Brookdale Cypress Station has a small memory care community. I liked the single hallway and certainly the interaction with the people during my visit. Everybody seemed very friendly and caring. The staff, Felicia, was fabulous and very organized. She had everything ready for the tour, and she was very responsive to what I needed to know. I did not really look very closely into the amenities, but they have a hair salon that does hair and nails. They talked about therapy that was available too. I wasn't interested because mom's only going to be there for 2 weeks, and she doesn't do a lot. A lot of the exercise and engagement activities, she's not as interested in anymore. The facility looked clean, organized, and easily accessible.

My father is going to be moving to Brookdale Cypress Station. He will be in their assisted living. They were outstanding, very helpful, very warm-hearted, and caring. They gave us a good deal too. This place is very peaceful, and both the residents and the people who work there are very friendly. We didn't get to try the food during our visit, but we saw the menu, and it was good.

They're very friendly at Brookdale Cypress Station. I like that they had someone at the front desk. I don't like places where you walk in and there's no one even monitoring who comes through the front door. It was not the nicest that I visited, but it was all right. I feel like it could be a little cleaner. The staff was very nice. I like the staff. They were good. They seemed to have some basic amenities. I like the courtyard. It was a nice place for the residents to sit. They didn't seem to have as many amenities. They didn't seem to have much going on with crafts and things like that. Some residents like church services and they had church maybe once a month, which I thought could be better. It wasn't the best. Their facilities need to be cleaner, and they need to offer a few more activities for the residents. I felt like the floors weren't as nice. It felt more institutionalized there than in some of the other places.

I visited Brookdale Cypress Station and I liked the staff very much, all of them. The building itself was a little bit older, and the memory care was just one long hallway. There's also a tiny dining room, and I noticed that they were cutting hair right next to it, and I didn't care for that. The facility felt homey, and I really, really liked the lady who took me around, Felicia. She was a lovely lady, and she said, "We're having a drive-through barbecue. If you want to do that, I'll give you the papers." I said, "Sure!" I drove through and got barbecue for dinner last night. It was wonderful and very good.

My mom enjoys Brookdale Cypress Station and she says that the people are very nice, which is a good thing. The last time I talked to her she sounded like she was having fun. They have been doing testing on the patients as far as COVID, and they stopped all visits. We were having window visits because I couldn't visit her and she couldn't come out. Two to three of their residents have tested positive, and they stopped windows visits, so it's just been phone calls. She seems to be alright and they seem to be on top of things. My mom has not complained about the food. They could improve on their intake. When a person moves in I'd say they need to keep an eye on their personal items and equipment, because when I moved my mother in, I moved her in with her TV and I know we brought all the cords to her TV, but somehow those have never been found.

The people who accommodated me at Brookdale Cypress Station were very prompt and the staff was very professional and kind. I have no complaints at all. The place was clean and the residents seemed engaged. When we got there they were playing bingo. I liked their outside areas. They have little flower gardens and the residents can take walks throughout the properties every day. They have a variety of activities; I really like the people there. It was a very clean place, there was no smell, and the residents seemed clean too. We didn't eat there, but there were some sweet rolls that they have just taken out of the oven which looked pretty good. I just think it needs a little bit of updating in terms of style.

Brookdale Cypress Station is a really good place with a very friendly staff. They have lots of activities, they're always busy, and the place was full of energy. From those that I've seen, this community is really good. The food is really good and the only complaint my mom has if any is that they give her too much. The appearance looks a little dated but it's OK. The value for the money is really good.

I am blessed that I found such a loving and fun filled community. I am always greeted by the staff like I was a member of their own family and they treat my Aunt like she is a member of their family. One thing I always love about this community is the cleanliness. It smells good and you can tell they really take pride in the appearance of the overall community. The staff is polite, compassionate and attentive to the residents needs.

My wife and I were residents of Brookdale Cypress Station for three months. We were away from everything because our house is in Kingwood and one daughter lives 10 miles one way and the other daughter lives 10 miles the other way from Cypress Station. We were both in assisted living in a one-bedroom apartment there. Other than ice cream socials and home health coming in to give us assistance, I did not participate in many of the activities there. We got along well with the staff.

Brookdale Cypress Station seemed nice, and the staff was nice. My mom liked the place. The room that we saw was a little old, but the amenities were pretty good. They can provide assistance 24/7 should she need help with anything. They can transport her to dialysis, too.

My sister moved into Brookdale, and she loved it. People seemed happy, they were smiling, there was noise, and it was light and airy. They have outside activities, they go shopping every week, and they get to go out, so she really enjoys it. They serve 3 meals; I tried it, and it was good. They had a beauty salon, a work-out gym, outdoor patio areas, movies, an arts and crafts room, and a game room.

The facility was clean and quiet, and it was a pretty pleasurable experience at Brookdale Cypress. However, we had some issues with the nursing staff, but with a facility like that you’re going to get good and bad people. We did have a couple of experience that left a bad taste in my mouth. For example, he is a type 1 diabetic, his blood sugar will go up and down, and it’s hard to control; it doesn’t seem like that they knew exactly what to do. It didn’t seem like it was handle professionally or correctly, but it’s pretty good. The overall experience was OK. They need to improve on the people that deal with the patients day in and day out to have them be a little bit more friendly over a long period of time. When we first get there, they were nice, but after a month and they are used to you, the level of care goes down. They need to maintain the level of care from day 1 to whenever the person is able to move out.

We went to Brookdale Cypress Station but didn’t really go through it. They said that their Medicaid beds were full and didn’t really give us any hope that they would have any available for a long, long time. We liked the whole neighborhood atmosphere and everything. I have been through it before about three years ago, and it was very nice, but they just didn’t give us any hope that they’ll help us get a Medicaid bed, so we didn’t pursue it.

My husband is in Brookdale Cypress Station. I am very pleased with them. They have an incredible staff, and he has a very good relationship with them. They keep an eye on him, know what he likes, and try to follow through with him. We had a Mother’s Day party there last week, and they went out of their way to decorate. I am really pleased with it. They have crafts, exercises, movies, popcorn, and coffee breaks. My husband is not much of joiner. They offer a lot of activities, but he does not always participate. For the most part, he likes the food. He is eating really well and gaining weight. It was clean and does not have a smell. I like that it is right over by the hospital and his cardiologist. It is very convenient.

Mom was a resident there for quite a while. We were always happy with her apartment...and it was a place she always felt safe. Food was good, prices were reasonable...especially for the space she had (nice little apartment with separate bedroom, TV room etc.. The problem here...and it is a serious one....is what happens if your loved one needs additional attention. We put up with quite a bit (staff stealing jewelry, medication problems...including the last very serious problem) and provided additional oversight just because the room mom was in was her grip on reality. As she required additional care from time to time, staff was not capable or willing to provide this service. Communication was horrible, current on site manager not qualified or capable....too busy defending staffs performance or lying to address serious problems.. This is not a place to put a loved one if they are needing some real individual attention (I'm not talking nursing, I'm referring to help with baths, making sure they make it back to their rooms after meals etc). As I said, this place was fine for a while...and everything was fine as long as nothing was needed. But when it came time to really provide even minimal assistance (it is, after all, an assisted living place) they failed on virtually level.

We’re very satisfied with Brookdale. Everyone seems to be friendly. The most difficult part was my dad getting used to it. Everything else is going fine. My dad chose the studio room. It’s quite spacious, and it looks like it’s well taken care of. The bathroom is actually quite large, with a large shower, and handicap accessible. He has a walker and has difficulty, but this is very easy, and he can just roll right into it. It’s a very nice place. He enjoys the food. He has choices of three hot meals a day. They give them choices for lunch and dinner. Breakfast is prescribed, but it is a large breakfast that includes dairy, eggs -- that’s more than most people can eat. They manage my dad’s medication. That is very important. Every Wednesday they go to Walmart. Dad enjoys that little outing. They also have a lot of games and parties. They’re going to have Thanksgiving dinner and invite the family members to come. They have a very nice little outdoor courtyard where they can just enjoy the outdoors.

My parents were at Brookdale Cypress Station for about three and a half months in total. At first it was OK until they started needing additional help. Some staff told us that they don’t do that there, but the management told us that they could do that. This facility is for people who are able to do assisted living on their own. The staff is very nice, patient, and caring. They do have plenty of activities like exercise and music.

My experience in Hampton at Cypress Station during my visit there was great. The staff working there was persistent. Their rooms were fine, and they are average szed. Based on my observation, they had a few activities. One thing I liked about the place though was it was closer to where I live.

I had been to Brookdale Place at Cypress Station three or four times. It was very close to our house, and it was very pleasant. The staff was extremely friendly and bent over backwards to help us. They do the patient's laundry for them and they cleaned their apartment. The rooms were very nice and my mother was looking at a one-bedroom unit, but it was just a hair over what she could afford. They were putting new microwaves and refrigerators in the rooms. We had a meal there and it was very good. They had an activity calendar and several rooms for activities, and they were great. They had painting classes and games. They had physical therapy. They had a courtyard that was beautiful. They were dog friendly so mom could have her dog there.

The one that my mom's been at for three weeks now is Brookdale. It is a really nice community, and she seems to be enjoying it there. The people there are very nice. The food is good. They have quite a few activities going on. It is a big, three-floor building, and everything is clean.

This facility had large, well planned rooms. All the landscaping was neatly cared for and the lawns and trees made it a pleasant setting, as did the traditional brick and white wood trim. The decor was traditional, with shiny brass fixtures. The staff was friendly and warm. The residents all appeared well groomed and disciplined. However the cost seems to be floating. They first check the requirements & then decide costs. Due to this my friend who was looking for some rooms for her grandparents felt suspicious & decided to look for few other facilities in nearby location. However, i personally felt her perception for this place was incorrect as I found the residents here looked very content and were well cared for by kind and considerate staff in this living environment. I might try again & convince my friend if she has not settled on any other facility for her grandparents.
