My mother has moved into Apex Oaks at Cypress Assisted Living and Memory Care. So far, everything's good, but we're still getting adjusted to how everything works. Everything is nice and the place is beautiful. The staff has been fantastic. Right now, she is in a shared room, but she is currently the only resident in that room. They haven't moved anyone else in with her. It's nice, cheery, bright, and big. They have options for private, but we can't afford that. They have field trips, movies and popcorn, puzzles and all that. I was told the food is very good.

We toured the assisted living of Apex Oaks at Cypress. They were very sympathetic and very understanding. The person who accommodated us was very personable. They make you feel comfortable with having your loved one there. The place is very clean and updated. They have a great patio space, which was nice. I just wish the room were a little larger, especially if you're doing a shared space. They're very small. But outside of that, we liked it and it is up there on our list.

I toured Apex Oaks at Cypress. Everything looks clean. It's a neat place. There are a few residents, so I think they feel like they are at home, and the amenities they can enjoy are also good for the elders. The backyard is small, but it is still a nice place to enjoy. The people working there were very friendly. They were saying hi to me all the time. Christine was very kind. She explained everything to me and showed me all the areas, and the rooms.

I toured Apex Oaks at Cypress. It's nice and very clean. The memory care is very secure. The room I looked at, they're working on, they're remodeling it and getting them ready. They have outdoor space that's a nice place for the residents to sit down. And they have a little garden that's a raised garden, just a tiny one for maybe one or two people to plant some plants if they want to. This thing was locked up well, and they were secure.

My brother-in-law has moved into Apex Oaks at Cypress Assisted Living and Memory Care. The staff members are just excellent. They're very caring and kind. The place is really clean. It's not too big, yet it's not an individual's home. My brother-in-law's room is nice. It has two closets, and the bathroom is big. For activities, they got all kinds of things there. He has only been there a couple of days, but they have a big activity board where they do bingo, and they take them shopping in a van and things like that.

Apex Oaks was a very nice place. It was very nice and very clean. They were very friendly. The only thing I did not like about it was that it was too far; it's just way too far. They showed me both sides, the memory care and the assisted living. The tour experience was fine. The staff who showed me around was very nice and very friendly. They have a patio. The rooms were nice. They mentioned that they have activities like bingo.

My MIL & SIL live/lived at Apex. We could not be happier! The administration and staff are like family to us all. They worked with us recently through very difficult time (my MIL passing.). They were so loving and respectful and we got to see 1st hand how the entire staff interacts daily with the residents. We feel comforted and blessed with my SIL still living at Apex, and she herself has said “she’s not been this happy in her entire adult life!”

My dad has been in Apex Oaks for two years now. They give him excellent care and they give him his dignity back. He is well taken care of, respected and treated as a human being. My dad has special medical needs, but they have gone above and beyond to try to accommodate his unique medical needs as well as his cognitive needs. He is not fearful nor combative because he feels safe there. They take excellent care of him. I can't say enough good things about them. They just changed my dad's life from what it was. They make my dad feel important. He is in the later stages of Alzheimer's now, but he is very content and very comfortable. They use quality staff. I have never seen anything but good loving care. I have gone at lunch and dinnertime many times, and I have seen what they served my dad, and it smelled really good. The meals are very acceptable. They don't just get sandwiches, but they get hot meals. The place is extremely clean and well kept. The activities are very good. I go in and I see all the crafts that they have made. They have quite a bit of activities. They always give them small parties and special get-together for the family. No one wanted to take my dad on because of his medical needs. My dad doesn't have a bladder so he has a bag, and that's very difficult. However, they owned it. They had someone come in and trained them how to take care of my dad's condition. They didn't have to do that, and they didn't charge me anything extra to do that. I have been blown away by the going the extra mile. It has been amazing.

We found Apex Oaks for my mother-in-law, and she moved in last May into a private room. The staff provides excellent service, and the manager gives her good treatment. I would recommend it to anybody. It's a new, 16-bed facility.
