My father moved into Focused Care at Hamilton. It's been very good, and they treat him very well. He gets along well with the other residents. They have activities every day for them, and a shuttle to go to different places when they need it. I've been very pleased. The staff seems very caring and they're always welcoming to visitors. I can tell that they work very hard. I've never eaten there, but I sat with my father while he ate, and he seems to enjoy it well enough. I think the place is in good condition. It looks really nice, but it could use a little bit of freshening up, maybe some new carpets and things like that.

Focused Care gave wonderful caring care to my husband. His room was always clean, the staff actually cared about him. The food was amazing. I never had a complaint about any of his care.

I went to look at Focused Care at Hamilton. I like it because my mother wants to go back to the town she was born in so that works. The people were friendly. When she goes in there, she's going to make friends with people she went to school with, which was my big thing. The rooms were nice, well-maintained, and fairly big. The staff members that I met were very nice. The dining area was nice. They have two outdoor spaces; one for people who smoke and one for people who don't smoke.

I have visited this care center a lot in the past 6 months. I have a relative that lives at Dove Hill. The staff mostly the nursing staff is very rude. A patient will wait and wait to finally get some help. My Mamaw has told me plenty of times how she has had to wait for atleast 20 minutes for someone to come help her because the CNA was busy and the nurse didn't want to get off the chair and away from the computer to help.

This is a good facility. Very well maintained and is kept clean, residents seemed to be well taken care of and content. While I was there, a special entertainer came in and played some music, which everyone seemed to enjoy. The entertainer brought in some sound equipment and staff members were very helpful and even provided something for the person to roll the equipment down the hall so they wouldn't have to carry it.

Dove Hill Care Center is a nice looking place, it looks clean. I visited many people there in the past several years. They have a nice dining hall. The rooms were nice and I think that they have some apartment type facilities, whether it's a condo or individual apartment, that is pretty much independent as the dormitory type rooms. That's more or less appealing. I think you can have your own car and kind of come and go as you please and ask for help if you need it. I'd been there many times before but when you go and then really looking, you're impressed with what you see or you're disappointed with what you see and I was not disappointed. They try to stick to a schedule that they can look forward to, that they can anticipate visiting people that come and talk to them, people that come in and entertain them. The people that I know that have been there have not complained about it. They didn't have any particular disappointments.

My Mom is in Dove Hill and she has been there for ten years. It is a really nice and a pretty nursing home. It is fairly big and located in a kind of out of town atmosphere. They have plenty of people and registered nurses there round the clock. The staff is very helpful and the residents are very well look after. My mom is pretty much bed ridden. But they are really good about getting her out and my mom seems to like that better than just staying in bed all the time. They keep her close to make sure that she can have everything that she needs because she is not able to speak and she is legally blind. They really take good care of her and they even take her to the dining room and make sure that she has all that she needs. They have physical therapy right on the site. The nursing home is not a very old building. It is very clean and new looking. I don't have anything bad to say about them. If anyone need to go to even if they are not in really bad safe, but they just can't live a home anymore, people do choose to move there because it is such a pleasant place.
