My brother moved to Solstice Senior Living at Grapevine. We chose it because of its proximity to where I live and I was very impressed with the place and its upkeep. It was spotless. They have lots of activities. My brother's in a wheelchair and they are elevator accessible. They have physical therapy on-site. Everybody seems very caring and very nice. My brother said the food was delicious. He needed to socialize more and I thought it was a great place. They do ice cream socials, they do bingo, they have people come in and help teach them to use their smartphones or computers, they have a library, different activities, and a happy hour. They are meticulous about keeping the place spotless. It's very comfortable. It's very nice and it was very affordable for me. I didn't think I would be able to put my brother somewhere like this, so it worked out well.

Solstice Senior Living at Grapevine was not suited for me. I am looking for homes and I thought their apartments were small (it was also a smaller community). The staff was wonderful, though, and it would be a great community for certain types of people because they had lots of activity. They also had a dining room, but your cars were just out in the open, and I wanted a garage. You didn't have a particular parking place either. You just park wherever. The facility was very clean and the structure was good. There's an elevator. The residents were very friendly. They were out and about. We talked to them and they all loved where they were living. It looked like there were more single people in that facility. Mostly women as well. Their maintenance guy was pretty friendly, too.

I toured Solstice Senior Living at Grapevine. I like this one the most because they had a very active veteran community, and I thought that was something that my ex would like. The staff were great. They have a big veteran program. Many of them get together and eat lunch together, and that's good if you're a vet. They go out to the community and do things, like they take you to doctors' appointments.

I was totally turned off by Solstice Senior Living at Grapevine. They don't have the facilities that they need, like community spaces. The apartments were much smaller and they didn't really have cooking facilities in the apartment, although they said you could bring a microwave if you wanted. They don't seem to have much either, and it seemed like the tour was just a job to them.

I did a tour of Solstice Senior Living at Grapevine. They were very friendly and very courteous. The guy walked me around and showed me the sample apartment. It was very nice. I told him I had just started looking around. The location was well, but the place itself was not set with any pool or gardens or anything. It was just an apartment place. What I would miss is having trees and bushes, and it didn't have that, but the home itself is very nice. That was a lovely place, but the property it's set on, there are just certain boxes that weren't checked for me. They catered to the seniors. It was very obvious that they were taking care of the seniors there. The staff were very friendly. They gave me a chicken pot pie when I left as a thank you for the tour, for stopping in and seeing us. That particular food was very good, but I didn't actually sit down and have dinner there. They got a new manager in there and he pointed out things to me. I was impressed. He's very proud of it and very eager to show off what a nice place it was. He sent me home with a packet and any questions I had, he was very helpful in answering my questions for me. There was a beauty parlor, an exercise room, a library, and all food service. This particular place gave you service for every meal. They had activities throughout the day, and every day of the week was something different. They had transportation available for you, for doctor's appointments and shopping. It was just very lovely in that respect.

I visited Solstice Senior Living at Grapevine, it was very nice. It was convenient and it's very well laid out, I liked it. My impression of the staff was good and the bedrooms were spacious. The staff showed me a game room, and a small theater, and the surrounding community has a lot of things to offer. They also have a garden.

Solstice Senior Living at Grapevine was very welcoming and very nice. If I could afford it, I'd move there. The staff showed me a one-bedroom and a two-bedroom. The layout was fine. They had a game room, a very small workout area, and a huge library. The dining area was very nice, and it wasn't crowded. The place was really nice and clean. They had flowers out and things like that.

Solstice Senior Living at Grapevine is very open, airy, and very bright. I absolutely love the location and the facility. They've had some turnover in staff since my sister has gotten there, which I don't like. They also seem to be a little short staffed, but I love everything else including the price, the location, and the actual facility. Her unit has a little outer room and one bedroom. They're redoing the hallways, making it look fresher and nicer. They have people you can hire if you need more assisted living. They do Wal-Mart runs, they have a library that has a computer, open rooms, sitting areas, and a nice large activity room. I love the openness, the hallways, and the laundry rooms. They have one elevator, which is very slow due to their request. She's on the second floor and there's a nice grand staircase that's very wide and has a platform every five or six steps. I love how it's laid out. They're by far the best in the area price wise.

My mom moved into Solstice Senior Living at Grapevine. It's clean, and the meals are pretty decent. The staff has been very helpful and even allowed an interim day to accommodate my mom. They have been super friendly. They're kind of going into transition right now and the maintenance staff is being upscaled as we speak. They have a lot of activities. They have a chapel and one of the local Catholic churches come in to do communion service. It's pretty easy to get in and out of the place.

We visited Solstice. Their exterior was very nice, and impressive, even in the communal areas. However, we were disappointed with the apartment. We looked at a 1-bedroom, and it was very dark, and very cramped. The community areas were very nice. The staff was very nice.

I didn't like Solstice Senior Living at Grapevine at all. It did not have a good feel and had a very institutional feel. The lady who showed me around was wonderful. I would rate the rooms a 3. I had lunch there and did not enjoy it. I didn't care for the facility at all.

It was lovely. The rooms were nice and the people were very helpful. It was pretty classy. I recently received a call from one of their representatives and they were very nice. I'm very pleased. The dining area was very nice and it was very elegant. I was looking for something very close and it's only a block away from us.

I am happy with everything. My sister is in a studio apartment. It is clean, they do a really nice job, and everything is good. My sister has complained about the food because they are undergoing some changes in contractors that they hired to serve the food, but last night, she said the food was better. If the food was good, we will be very happy.

We found it and the staff was great. The gentleman that walked us around was very informative and very interested. He used my mother-in-law's name multiple times so he was engaged and paying attention. We know that he is on call. If something happens, he has a pager. We were very pleased with the walkthrough. The rooms were fine. They looked very nice. They have good choices of food. There was a very good social environment. The dining experience was outstanding. They have very active social settings, and they also have transportation to the Grapevine Senior Center which was important for us. A lot of the people there go to the same church as my mother-in-law. They have transportation to the church. They have karaoke night. Also they have a choir that was very important for her. They have a very nice social calendar with great transportation.

We did visit, but we didn't go over the whole place. We ate lunch there. The food was very nice, and it seemed healthy. It had a big variety. It was just great. It is very nice, but the only thing they had was little apartments, and we wanted a cottage. Most of them we are so impressed by. We loved it. We are sorry we have to back out on being on the waiting list. It is far from our house, but anywhere you live around the Dallas-Fort Worth area is far from your house.

My dad has only been in here for 30 days, and he likes the facility. The rooms are big, food is good, the people are nice, and he has a little bit of independence. I think one thing he likes about it is the comfort level because the managers live on site and are available around the clock. They have activities like bingo and poker, and they take him to the doctors.

Among the facilities that we have visited, it was the one that my dad liked the most. The staff and the facility were all very great. The amenities were not as traumatic or drastic as the others. The food was excellent. My dad just went on and on about how good the food was.

I picked it for my mother because of its proximity to where I live, the amenities that they have and the meals that they provide. My mom has been there since July. This facility is something I can recommend to others. Their staff is very helpful and they do care for their residents.

My impression is that it was fairly modern. People seemed to be happy there. Overall, it gave a very positive vibe. However, we are still in search and I'm waiting on my parents to get them in a situation where they are ready to make a move.

I thought the facilities were warm, light, and welcoming. There were windows everywhere, so the entire facility was lit with soft, natural light instead of harsh florescent lights. The amenities were truly astounding as there was a large cafeteria, a recreation and sun room, as well as plenty of outdoor facilities. It felt more like a hotel than an old folk's home. The rooms were spacious too with plenty of natural light not at all cramped or tight. All of the resident seemed fairly active instead of sluggish or generally dejected and they really enjoyed the rounds of bingo that I called out. There also seemed to be a full schedule of activities at the facility. I always saw the bus running around town, but I also go to see a schedule while I was volunteering there, which included trips to many different events a places. I got to work with the owners themselves during the volunteer work and they were warm, welcoming, and genuinely caring towards all of the volunteers, staff, and residents.
