The Lakes at Grand Prairie was my second choice. They have all of the same things as the place that I ended up choosing, the main difference is that I got all of my appliances, which included the washer and dryer, while this and most of the other places I visited did not include the washer and dryer. The overall facility was good, and the staff was friendly and helpful. They had a salon, a gym, and a game room. It seems to me that the upkeep is handled nicely, they're high on my list. It's located near some shopping and food places.

My husband and I toured The Lakes at Grand Prairie, and it was very nice. We liked it. The gentleman who assisted us with the tour was excellent and very welcoming. I found the facility to be excellent. Some of the facilities I've looked at were large, but this felt small enough but not too small to live in. I don't want to be at a really big one. I found everything to be excellently put together. I liked the different layouts. The amenities were great. I liked the different rooms that they had. They were small enough, but yet big enough for what we needed. I loved the storage. We saw one of the storage areas, and I was very impressed because I have these items that I love to keep with me. And this particular area he showed me would accommodate that. I liked that it's quiet. It just didn't seem to be overwhelming.
