We liked Silver Creek Assisted Living. It was very clean. We noticed a lot of the staff even though it was a Sunday. They were very active, were working, and dispensing medications. People were out. They were not just tucked away in their rooms. There seemed to be a lot of activities going on. For a Sunday, we were very impressed. The rooms were small, which we expected. This facility has a respite room where we could pay and have my mother-in-law there if we want to go out of town or something. It's like a hotel if you will. It had a bed, a recliner, a TV, a mini kitchen, closet space, and a bathroom where you could walk into the shower and not have to step way over something to get there. It was big, so if you had something to sit on, you could shower that way if you wanted to. It was roomy. If you have a walker or you're in a wheelchair, it is all very compatible. The staff was very friendly. The gentleman that took us on a tour was not his regular job. When we got there, he was behind the main reception desk and then it was already planned because someone else came and went behind the reception desk when he took us on a tour. We had a great follow-up from the salesperson that set this all up. She was out of town that weekend. It was fabulous how well they all communicated and were able to back each other up.

Silver Creek was an older facility, but pretty well-maintained. The rooms were small. We weren't impressed with the facility. It was OK, but it seemed a little pricy for what mom would be getting. The staff seemed friendly enough. Even though it is a newer facility than some of the others, it felt worn. It felt to me like they had not taken real good care of it. We did not get a chance to try the food. We looked in the dining area, which was not real big. This is not a real large facility. It's one story, so there were no stairs or elevators involved.

I liked Silver Creek Assisted Living and the management and just the whole vibe of the entire center. It was top-notch. I liked how it was run. They seemed like they care about the people that live there. There was a man named Ryan and he plays a big role at their assisted living home. He was very informative and very personable, and you feel like you know him just by speaking to him. He cared about all the older people who live there everywhere throughout the home. As we walked through the tour, people kept saying like, “Hi Ryan,” like they loved him as a person. I liked that they have a big opening outside, so it doesn't feel like you're closed in. That's one thing that I don't want my loved ones to feel like they're in jail or something like that. Also, they offered kind of field trips. They would take them on buses, like seven or eight of the elderly who chose to go if they wanted to go. I think they had an upcoming field trip to go to the fair. They also just do different activities to make people feel included. He also told me that they do a buddy system with the new patients, they pair them with well-to-do elderly people until they kind of get their way around. I thought that was a great way to innovate and integrate people into the home. They all looked happy to be there, which is beautiful. You could get your own room, but I didn’t look at one like that. I looked at a room that would be shared, so it would be two people to a room, and they would share a common area, like a living room, a kitchen, and a bathroom. They have their own rooms that they could close the door to. It was a nice space. I didn’t try their food, but I looked at their menu, and it was good.

Silver Creek Assisted Living was excellent. The staff was good and the facility looked great. It's a nice place. Their apartments and dining room were big, and they had a bunch of stuff, including a swimming pool, bingo, and other games. I liked it. It's very good and it's close to my house. It's also a very clean place like there's no smell and it's in a quiet neighborhood. There's no noise.

We moved our parents into assisted living at Silver Creek nearly 3 years ago when my mom came out of rehab for a hip replacement. Our dad could no longer take care of her (she also had MS and was developing some dementia) and their house, yard, shop, pool himself. The Silver Creek staff has been very flexible and accommodating of their changing needs since then. They have always been attentive and even loving to the point that we are eternally grateful for having found them! We lost my mom a year ago, and the staff have been so supportive of our dad ever since. They've done a wonderful job throughout the pandemic and during the recent week of Texas ice storms and power outages. The Director, Sandra, head nurse, Rhonda, and Activities Director, Jessica all have been immediately responsive to any concerns that have come up for us, and the chef and maintenance manager as well as my dad's aids have all gone above and beyond to take excellent care of him! I've been touched to the point of tears on several occasions at the care and kindness they've shown my parents. Could not have picked a better place!

My visit to Silver Creek was fine. The facilities were very nice and Ryan, the facilities director, was great. Their apartments were set up nicely. If they had a shared apartment that would be something I would look at. They also have respite care there. I would recommend it to somebody else. I saw their dining area and it was very nice. One thing that was absolutely gorgeous there was that they have a beautiful courtyard where all the residents can go. They also have a screened in area, so it's nice because you won't have bugs going after you in the evening. It was just beautiful. I even wanted to stay there; it's very nice. I would give Ryan a five. He went above and beyond and was just super nice. He checked back with me and followed up with me. He's a really nice guy.

I was very impressed with Silver Creek. The person in-charge of sales was very knowledgeable. They had a full activity schedule, and their rooms were nice, but on the small side. The whole facility was very well kept. They're very concerned about security. It was a very nice place, and they took great care of their community.

My parents have lived at Silver Creek since November 2016. After a bad experience at another facility, we are so grateful at the outstanding care they receive. Natalie, the marketing director, made their move seamless and stress free. Brandi is an outstanding activity director. There could not be a better medical director than Rhonda. She visits with each resident daily and with her attention to detail, we have been able to address problems before they became emergent. Sandra is an outstanding executive director. She is a born leader and could not be a more caring person. I am an extremely picky person, especially when it comes to my parents. I have dropped in at all hours and have never left disappointed. This facility is not a revolving door for employees. Employees are valued and it is evident in the loving care they provide. Whether it is the person greeting you at the desk, the kitchen staff, housekeeping or care staff, they all bend over backwards to do a great job. When I leave town I never have to worry if my parents are in good hands. I recommend this facility without reservations.

It is a honor to write this review. This summer I was looking for a Home for my loved one. I'm from Rockwall and was very familiar with the facilities here. None were acceptable to me. I put all my heart in this search and wasn't willing to settle. After being disappointed with the facilities here and the $$$ amounts I prayed and was lead to Garland. I was guided to Silvercreek and the minute I walked in it felt like home. (Also I spent 3 years with my friend at a assisted living facility right before this so I knew exactly what to look for) The director , nurse, activity director , aides, housekeeping were all like a huge family who truly treated ALL the residents with the most compassion I have ever seen. Never once did the place smell. In fact its smells like Home. I never once saw 1 resident unclean , also the most honest place you could imagine. Sandra M. the director is involved with everyone .Silvercreek is one well oiled machine. I have never had 1 complaint. The nurse Rhonda M. was outstanding I had 24 access to her and Sandra at all times (personal cell) The activities were plentiful and much fun for all . Its amazing how this team and I mean every employee were loving and respectful to the residents. When my loved one was passing the staff was in tears and loving on him . They treated my loved one as if he were there baby. So loved and he told me daily. I could go on and on. The door is locked to this facility so no one comes in off the street also no one wonders off. While we were in our final hours I spent time with hospice they repeatedly told me this is the best facility that the go to. And they cover DFW. I am so impressed the employee turn over is almost ZERO. Never help wanted signs out. I credit this to Sandra and Rhonda they treat there employees great and they do not leave. If the opportunity ever arrive where I need a facility Hands down this is #1 in all DFW. Susie W.

I like Silver Creek Assisted Living a lot. We chose it because of their level of care and the proximity to where I live. They do a lot of things and my aunt is very active.

The staff at Silver Creek is extremely helpful and caring. Sandra, the Executive Director, is professional and kind. She goes above and beyond the call of duty to care for my father on a regular basis. He has been in multiple communities but this one is by far the best. Thank you Sandra and the staff at Silver Creek!

Silver Creek is a very nice facility. The people I met were very friendly and helpful. The only problem I had was my mother would have had to share a room, and she has a problem with it, but it was a good facility.

We moved my parents here just over a year ago from another AL nearby. We are very pleased with the care they have received. The staff is attentive, they like the food, and their room is perfect for them. They also love the visiting dogs. We are very happy that we moved them here.

I was very impressed with Silver Creek. I was very impressed with the facility, the programs, and the tour. They had remodeled it, and they did an incredible job. It was really nice, and the amenities were great. They had a lot of good in-room amenities, and they had apartments instead of rooms. Each room was like a little mini-apartment, and they have community areas which were nice.

Silver Creek was very nice. The rooms were excellent. They had things for my dad that will keep him interested and occupied. They had different rooms where they can go and talk and just socialize with one another or either do their own little thing. The dining area was roomy, clean, and really neat. At the time that I was there, it was very clean.

Silver Creek was a bigger, nice, clean, and beautiful facility. It was newly remodeled. They have lots of inside, and outside activities. They seem to care about the residents very much. They took us to the dining room to show us the menu, but they were willing to offer whatever will keep the residents healthy and happy. The price is a little hard for most people to accommodate.
