My father-in-law has moved into Colonial Oaks at Campbell Park. What I like best is that it's practically one-on-one care. I'm not sure I have anything I dislike yet. His room is 250 square feet, and for a memory care patient, that's a lot of room, because he's also a fall risk, and so the less space the better for him. It's practically one nurse for every patient, so it's a great ratio there. The staff is exceptional. The facility is beautiful, well kept, very clean, and it looks like a hotel. The value for the money is excellent.

Our tour with Colonial Oaks at Campbell Park was great. The people out there are very nice and very friendly. The fact that it was only five minutes from where we live had a lot to do with why we chose it. My husband is going into their memory care and there are only about 14 residents in the memory care area. The whole facility is very bright. They have an outdoor patio. The insides are very nice, too. They have several different areas for just visiting, sitting, and eating. It's very open. That's what I liked about it. If you're in a wheelchair, it's easy to maneuver around. The staff was all very good. They told you exactly what was going on, what you needed, what they had, and how everything worked. They have two housekeepers who are there the majority of the time. You can walk in and everything smells fresh and clean. The floors are clean. All the counters and tables and everything were very nice. They have two little coffee bar things set up outside of the memory care area. They have places where you can sit down and drink a cup of coffee, have a little snack or something, and that's all kept clean as well.

The staff really seems to care. The place is brand new, so it is very clean. The staff is great, really excited to get everything going, pay close attention to everybody who comes in. My mom doesn't have any complaints. It is a very positive and happy environment.
