My husband lives in Ridgmar Place in Fort Worth. I like everything about it. I've been very pleased to have him there. He is in their independent living but we hire people to come in and help him with different things. He has an efficiency apartment, which is a nice size and is perfect for him. It has a full kitchen, and a walk-in shower, which was important to me so that there's no falling in the tub. I guess if closet space were a little bigger, that might be nice too, but it's okay. He has plenty of room for a queen-sized bed and a recliner. He doesn't want a kitchen table in there and would rather have his desk for his computer. I bought him a nice-sized coat rack, so he uses that to store some things. There's also a television so with all that in there, there's still plenty of space for him to walk around unencumbered. They have a good bit of activities, but he doesn't want to do the things they have. They have crafts, exercise, and chair yoga. There's an indoor pool too so they have water aerobics. They have a nice exercise room, I've even used it myself. They also have a library and a media room. The place is very clean. During Covid when they had reduced staff, a lot of people were getting sick, so the number of people who did the cleaning was down a little bit. But even with that, they were able to keep the cleaning and the important things up. Compared with other places, I know that they're reasonably priced.

We went to look at Ridgmar Place. Everything was good. The lady who gave us the tour gave us a lot of details. We saw a lot of the other residents that were already there. They were very nice and welcoming. They wanted to have a conversation with us. I liked that they had a lot of resources to help my grandma, or just the residents in general get to places where they don't have access to a vehicle if they don't want to be driving. The layout was good. My grandma will have her own kitchen, bathroom, and room. They had two or three buses on site. They had a salon. They had a lot of activities inside and outside. I feel like it would keep my grandmother active for as long as possible. The front desk lady was really nice. They have three meals a day. They had their own chef, which I thought was really cool. Everybody just seemed nice all around. The facility looks very clean. I like that the staff followed up with me. I like that they had elevators and stairs.

We went to look at Ridgmar Place. My dad just loved the lady in charge of marketing or touring the place. She was just wonderful, and he liked her more than anything else. The property itself was updated. It was very bright and pleasant. There were no bad smells or low ceilings. My dad felt like it was well-kept. The people seemed generally happy. It was very busy. There were a lot of people everywhere talking and moving, and that was good. They have transportation, meals, clubs, and a woodworking shop.

Does not give you the care you were promised. Allows people with Dementia and Alzheimer's roam the halls lost due to not having the staff to care for them. High cost and food, activities are not what they use to be. Turnover in staff due to over worked and new management in the building the last few months. Friends are moving to different places due to issues with water leaks and mold.

Ridgmar Place was very nice, well furnished, and laid out very well. We had lunch there, and the food was excellent. The people were all very nice. It seemed like it was perfect for what we needed. The staff members were all so helpful and nice. They were not trying to force us into anything. We looked at a two-bedroom apartment. It was large and very nice. I think it will accommodate two huge bathrooms and huge closets. They had a full schedule of activities. They had bus trips, grocery trips, bingo, all kinds of card games, and movies. While we were there, they had Family Pet Day, where families of the residents brought in their pets. They had an indoor swimming pool. Everything was just very nice.

My father is at Ridgmar Place, and he's loving it there. They were more cost efficient for what he was looking for, and they've had tons of activities, shortly after all the Covid stuff got through which was like a month. He's made lots of friends, he's very active, and he loves the meals. It's a very nice place. He's very happy there. He's in independent living right now, and he doesn't need assistance. We like that there's a medical doctor that comes on-site that sees them. When needed, they have home healthcare on-site. They even had physical therapy come in for him. He's got a lot of services there, and they provide transportation to his doctors. It has a little bit of everything. His 1-bedroom is without a kitchen; it's got a little sink basically. He loves the food.

This is a wonderful place for your family member! My Father has been here almost 2 years and he is very happy with the friendly staff, excellent food, and great events. It really is as wonderful as it seems when you walk through the lobby.

I went to see Brookdale Ridgmar and I want to be there real bad. They offered me a 1-bedroom for $2,100 a month, but they took one look at me and told me that I need to go into assisted living. They judged me because I was walking with a walker. I'm a disabled veteran and they made me feel really small.

Brookdale Ridgmar was fine. The apartments, underground parking, and food were all wonderful. They had a wide variety of food, and the chef was very good. The rooms were a good size. You could bring your own furniture.

My mother stays at this facility. It was pretty good when she moved in a couple of years ago, but they have let it run down some. They have recently painted and replaced some flooring, but getting some things fixed takes to long. One of the electronic doors has been broken for over 3 months and can't get an answer from management when it is going to get fixed. The menu here needs to be revisited. Same food all the time.

The reason I choose Brookdale over the others is because I like the people, it's right across the street from the mall so I can drive there, and I have a kitchen with a full-size refrigerator, a microwave, an electric stove and a dishwasher; even though I don’t do a lot of cooking, I do some cooking. It’s well located and fairly close to where my son lives. I'm on the fourth floor, and inside the room, I have a washer and dryer, bedroom, living room, and a little study, all at about 750 square feet. They play bingo and have happy hour from 3:00 to 4:00, which is kind of neat. Once a month, they drive interested people to the casino in Oklahoma. Some other places might be more organized with activities, but they do put up activities here. The meals here are good. I’m not going to say I’m happy here, but I’m not unhappy. I don’t know at this point in my life if I will go and be really happy anywhere until I get over grieving for my wife.

My father-in-law is living at Brookdale Ridgmar, and overall, we're satisfied with it. The way that it's laid out, like the entrances and stuff, is sometimes confusing because it's such a large facility. The staff has all been wonderful.

There were some things missing at Brookdale Ridgmar that I've seen at other places, like a fitness facility. The pool was not working and needed some work, and they had some activities, but they weren't as good as in the other place I saw.

I visited Brookdale Ridgmar. They were great. Their services were very positive. They have very nice rooms. They were clean and very good. I would recommend this facility because of how well kept and clean it was. They have pretty nice grounds too. It didn't feel like a medical facility or anything. It felt more like a resort.

The staff at Brookdale Ridgmar is very helpful and very friendly. My aunt had a mid-thigh amputation, and everyday was superb. They have home health right on site which was really good, and she said that everybody was so nice and helpful to her. It is a really good place. We have eaten there once, and the food is very good. They have happy hour where they offer soft drinks, wine, beer, anything. They had a band playing, and it was great. They also have bingo, and they have entertainment on Thursday night. They actually have everything that you would want.

From what I saw, Brookdale was very nice. The people seemed great. Everything was great, and I was happy with everything. It was just the price. The rooms looked nice. I had no problems with them.

We found Town Village. It's very nice. They have fine staff. The apartment is pretty comparable to what they had at their previous place: a one-bedroom unit with a kitchen. There are meals included. They have a lot of activities. I love their front door. The door handle is great.

Town Village is a nice facility. They have wonderful food, helpful staff and a wide range of activities. I think my father has played bingo, skip bo, and pool. They have a happy hour. What I like most about Town Village is that my father likes the food a lot. He likes the variety of food.

Accommodations were excellent. It's a pleasure to know Leasing Agent Kay, and other staff members. We looked at a 2BR, 2B, LR, DR unit. It offered high ceilings and was spacious. The restaurant appeared to be just fine. We're still aging in place, only because Maylo can't part with her home. But we should relocate to a retirement home, for social activities if nothing more. I'm 81, Maylo 78. Maybe she'll soon embrace the concept of living elsewhere.

Town village was dark, and it had no bright colors. I just didn’t feel comfortable there. The lady there was really sweet and nice. The kitchen was really small. They had activities, and they offered some other stuff too.

I probably saw four different apartments at Town Village Ridgmar. The grounds are lovely, the home is large, and it is fairly close to my home. Everything I observed was great. There's an older woman, as old as I, but she's in charge of all the laundry, and she seems very nice. They're limited in size of each apartment. They're not spacious, but I think they're comfortable in size. There are so many activities. I just thought it would be a fun place to live there. I think they're great.

I really like Town Village Ridgmar the best. Other than just being on a crowded busy street, I would almost give this facility a 5 star. The price is at a pretty comfortable range. The only reason why they didn't move in this place because my in-laws needed more care, but I myself wanted to move in there. The place seemed to be well maintained.

It was a great place, in a prime location. The staff was friendly, couldn't go a few feet without someone greeting you, which left a very warm welcoming feeling in the air. Sunday brunch was hectic but all in all very great, the set up and the food options were great. the rooms were nice though their small one bedrooms were too small for my taste, but you get what you pay for. It was a great independent living community though.
