My husband has been in Legend of Fort Worth for a week now. So far, I like everything about it. It's homey. It's more like a hotel. Everybody there smiles and appears to be in a good mood. The staff members are lovely. They're very friendly and very attentive. The food is wonderful. The facility is very clean and kept very well. Some of their activities are wonderful, but my husband right now is not into activities because he has been there a week, and he is being stubborn. I chose this place because there are 40% men and 38% retired military, and my husband is a retired military. Most places are full of women. So it's great to have some place that suits him.

LEGEND Assisted Living & Memory Care of Fort Worth My wife and I are in our upper eighty’s and were living in a location six hours drive from our immediate family members. They encouraged us to look for something closer to them for support. We began searching for a Living Facility near them. We visited numerous facilities in Fort Worth and surrounding areas. We made appointments to meet with the staff and tour the facilities and view available apartments. We met with the staff at Legend and they initiated an atmosphere of friendliness and a sincere interest in our anticipated needs. We were shown a number of apartments with a casual, time unlimited and detailed review of each apartment. It seemed as if the whole staff was devoted to helping us find what we were looking for, without any signs of sales pressure, but with an honest concern in helping us find specifically what we were looking for. We also found from our search that Legend is very competitive in cost, amenities and location. Grocery stores, restaurants, a large variety of shops, banks and medical facilities are all close by. We were impressed by the atmosphere created by each staff member showing a sincere interest in our detailed needs. It was obvious that they loved their jobs and people. We moved in and are more excited with our decision now. The friendly atmosphere has not diminished but increased. We have not met a single person, resident or staff that wasn’t friendly and ready to aid us any way needed. From the business side, we have experienced a couple of minor maintenance requirements for our apartment that were cleared almost immediately with talented in house personnel. The food service and the food are consistently excellent and an extensive variety is served. The Chef goes to great lengths to furnish special needs to anyone who may require some special foods. There are many interesting activities and games available to everyone. Our satisfaction with our decision to move here continues to grow. The personnel are caring beyond expectation. Their response is immediate to any and all requests. Everyone knows your name and basic needs. We are treated like family. We are home.

I went to look at the Legend of Fort Worth. It was okay. The staff members answered my questions, and they were pleasant. The facility looked nice. It just wasn't a good fit for my mother. They have a parking area and a little gym for therapy and stuff like that. They have a dining area. There were two hospitals nearby.

The Legend of Fort Worth had everything that I was looking for, and it's very close to my house. The staff, food, and cleanliness were excellent. They had a movie theater, a salon, a barbershop, and restaurants. It's next to hospitals.

We chose Legend of Fort Worth for my wife. She will be moving into their memory care unit later this week. The facility seemed a little homier than some places we looked at and the staff seemed to be a bit more permanent too. They have their own staff, they don't use any contract people. We were also able to see interactions between the staff and some of the memory care people and it seemed like just what we needed. The room we got was a private room with a bath. They have a courtyard where they can get out too and it just seemed very comfortable. I was able to try their food and it seemed very, very good. We were able to witness some interactions between the staff and some of the memory care patients during the activities. The staff was very involved and very attentive. They like to describe it as a family, and I guess that's a pretty good way to describe the atmosphere.

I toured Legend of Fort Worth and they were very nice and straightforward folks. They had nice facilities, tons of activities, and they keep showing all the changes and what they do to keep the people very active. It was nice and the layout was excellent. Right now, they're trying to get more familiar with the police department across the street from them. They're trying to put together a program about safety on the internet or what phone scams look like. So, it's going to be a nice program.

We chose Legend of Fort Worth because it was clean, and the staff seemed to be caring. I've eaten there, and the food was good. The dining area is more restaurant style. His room has an attached bathroom, a closet, and it's a good size. They have music and games. The memory care doesn't seem to have many trips, but the rest does. They should include memory care patients more in the music programs that they have because they don't take them unless they offer.

I was very happy with Legend Assisted Living and Memory Care. It was an excellent facility, very clean, very modern, and the people were very friendly. The staff was very professional and checked back with me and my dad. They were very helpful. They were a little pricier, especially when we went to the memory care side, but you would definitely get your money's worth.

My mother-in-law is in Legend Assisted Living and Memory Care. It is fabulous. I can live there. All the staff is wonderful. They have so many activities for them. It is obviously clean. They have everything you can ever need. They have outings to go to stores or go out for lunch. They go on tours of the area. They have bingo and puzzle club. Once a month, they have friends and family where they do different themes. They had a cook out last month, and it was a Mexican fiesta where your family and friends can come. They have church, a spa, and a movie theater. There is nothing that they don't have. Their dining is not a set meal plan or anything; you order off a menu, and the waiters take your order and bring your food. You cannot ask for anything more. It close to where I live. When I go there, I know I don't need to go anywhere else. This is the first time she has ever been in one, and she loves it.

We visited The Legend; they have a movie theater and a library, and they provide church services, games, and entertainment. The rooms were very nice, the dining area was very nice, quite large, and the menu was very nice. They do crafts. They have a memory care unit in the same building.

The Legend was a really nice place, nice restaurant eating area like a little bistro, and all other amenities like theaters, gyms, spas, and salons. The rooms were nice and a really good size. This is really on the top of my list. The staff was very nice and very friendly. The facility was fairly new, but it had a good population, lots of people -- men and women -- and they seemed to be active.

Legend Assisted Living is excellent, and my mother is staying there now. It’s a two bedroom with plenty of room. The food is good. She partakes in bingo, movie every evening, and dominos, and for those that can go, they take them shopping or dinner. They have arts and crafts, and during the day they have an ice cream social. There is lots of stuff going on all day.

Legend Assisted Living and Memory Care was a nice facility. We got over there late one night, but they showed us one of the rooms, which was nice. Then we sat down at the table and talked for a while. The people were very helpful. The biggest impression we had was that when you walk in the door, it didn’t look like a nursing home. There was a reception area and then there was what looked like a dining room table off on the side. It wasn’t set up in a circle where there’s a nursing station right at the front door.

Our visit with Legend was great. They were very helpful, very friendly, and very informative and showed us a couple of different rooms. We ate dinner there that night. Upstairs, there's a big movie theater room where they show movies three nights a week, as well as a full kitchen with a big table. There's sidewalk and a courtyard in the middle of everything; some of the rooms had back doors that opened to the courtyard. They had one designated area where you can go to smoke. A lady comes in a couple of times a week for haircuts, manicures, and pedicures for the ladies. They also had a masseuse. Once a week, they would take the people in scooters or wheelchairs to Wal-Mart and take trips to local restaurants. The room is like a tiny apartment with a kitchenette and a deep bathtub with a door in the bathroom. They try to make it feel as much as possible like home. We ate dinner there one night; the dining area is like a restaurant with a menu of eight different things at every meal to pick from. They change options around periodically. We were completely impressed. It's a very nice facility, and my father really liked it. One little drawback was we felt like he needs a hospital bed, so you can raise and lower it, but you have to provide that yourself.

My mother moved into Legend. We chose this community because of their care. The facility is clean, and the people are nice. It is comparable price-wise with all of the other places in the area. I wouldn’t say it is totally affordable, but it meets our needs. They have all kinds of activities, like arts and crafts, field trips, bingo, games, board games, and movie nights. They have two or three different things that they can do every day if they want to participate.

My mother is living in Legend. It is wonderful, and we are happy with it. It is a beautiful new facility. They have a very welcoming staff. We really enjoy our visit there, and my mother enjoys her stay there. They are very professional. They help us with the business side as well as talk about the opportunities there for her. They have an excellent restaurant where they order their meals. There is a spa, a place for hairdressing, a movie theater, a library, and an internet station. There are several places where they can meet. There is a real sense of community.
