I moved my father to Three Forks about a month ago. The main appeal was that this location is right around the corner from my house. My father was living in an independent facility, he is still mobile and in good shape, but required more help remembering to take his daily medication. From the very beginning until now, the staff has been nothing but caring, helpful individuals. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and will answer any question or concern that you have. I frequently pop into the facility and it's always nice to see residents enjoying puzzle time, watching TV together, playing bingo and dining together. The room he is in is smaller than what he had at his independent facility but it's an adequate amount of space for him. It is a smaller facility but I feel that is a good thing so the residents can actually get to know each other and become friends. I feel that my father is in a good place living in this facility. He is getting out more, being more social, he is on a schedule which he heavily relies on, and being on his medication has made a huge difference. I am happy with our choice of residence for my father.

Facility has come under new ownership. It was a great place a year ago when my parents moved in. Now is a different story: Facility smells of urine Food is very bad. Lots of processed, pre made food that is not good. Director (Deion) seems indifferent to the issues when presented to him. It was so bad, my 87 and 89 year old parents independently found another place and moved! Do not consider this facility for any elderly person. It is in a state of deterioration.

I went to see them. It was a really nice place and I called to pay the deposit and get the room, but then when they said that they would classify my cousin as a level two and that would cost $800 more a month I said, "No, thank you." It was not mentioned until I was ready to pay my money. I met two people. I met a lady that works on the weekends, and she was the one that sold me, and I really liked her. But the lady that worked Monday through Friday, I didn't like her at all. I didn't like her flippant "take it or leave it" attitude and "If you don't want it, we got somebody else that does." They were an older facility, and they had been in business for a while, so they were really together as far as having a calendar with all the activities. They had church already. Overall, I was ready to sign on the dotted line until the hidden fees came out. They advertised that as $3,900 a month, but then they evaluate you every 60 to 90 days and they change the amount you pay, so I would be cautious of the expense for extra care.

The director gave me a tour. She showed me the rooms and the whole facility. She was pretty thorough. She showed me two sizes of rooms and they were nice. They had some exercise programs, some arts and crafts, and transportation for them if they need it. I liked that it's closer, that it was a pretty big facility, its location, and the price range.

It was very neat and clean inside and out. They have a little courtyard that was cute for them to be able to sit out, and it had some flowers. They had a lot of different activities. It was a nice place. The only activity that I observed at the time was people doing puzzles. They showed me a room where they have all kinds of crafts, and they could go in and do any type of crafts that they want to do. They would have somebody come in every once in a while to do crafts and somebody would come in and do entertainment. They're getting over COVID, so they're getting back into having more activities. The staff during the tour was very nice, caring, and very sweet. I couldn't ask for any better. She answered all my questions and even gave me things that I didn't even think about asking.

It was a clean facility and I like the cleanliness. The rooms were clean and spacious enough. The staff that I met with was knowledgeable and was able to answer questions. The facility itself was nice. They have the same amenities as the other places I toured like the activity room area and lounge area.

My husband is here. The people were very helpful and very friendly. I have friends who had loved ones there. I felt like it was a good place for him to be. The staff has been accommodating and informative. We're not visiting inside yet. The only visits that are allowed at this point are outside, but next two weeks they should be inside. They will go out of their way to help you. I've been there, and visited other people when they were in there before Covid, and they were very content there. They're compassionate.
