My mom transitioned to memory care from the assisted-living portion of Rosewood. The staff in memory care is outstanding and takes care of my mother very very well. I would recommend this facility to anyone who faced with these tough choices.

We toured Rosewood Assisted Living & Memory Care. The staff was friendly. The lady who gave us the tour was excellent. We were excited about Rosewood until we saw the living area. There was no door between the bedroom and the living area, and the living area was very small. The kitchenette was even smaller. There was no distinction between the living area and the kitchenette. The place was nice, what they had to offer was nice, and all that, but my mother-in-law used to have a big home and we couldn't take her into a small room and to a small area. The two-bedroom, whatever they had that was bigger was not in our price range. The second reason why we didn't choose it was that memory care has an odor. I don't know if there was too much disinfectant or what it was. It was not bearable for me. I was ready to get out. They had a beauty barber/salon and a nice courtyard in the middle. They had a car and all that stuff in there and all the daily things that they would do during the week. They had a nice puzzle room. My mother-in-law does puzzles, so that's what I looked at.

I went to Rosewood Assisted Living & Memory Care. It was really good. It was a nice place. They had a lot of activities. They served meals. It looked like a nice place. Even though it was an older community, I would consider that if I needed assisted living. The rooms were adequate. I didn't get to see a lot of rooms, but the one that I saw seemed nice. But because it was an older place, I wouldn't say it was modern like some of them would be. I checked the dining area; it was very nice. They had a menu, and it seemed like what they had was very good food. It seemed like the building was very clean. The salesperson was nice. We talked for quite a while. They had people that came to the door when I entered and they were greeting me, so that was a neat and nice touch.

The tour I had at Rosewood Assisted Living & Memory Care was very well conducted. I thought they were very pleasant and gave me a real look at what it's like to live in the community. I felt like the surroundings were more of a neighborhood, whereas some places were nice like in the woods. I thought they had a lot of activities for the people who were staying there. I felt the rooms were nice, fairly small, and needed to be furnished by the person going to be moving in, but that might be fairly normal for these kinds of places. The staff was very knowledgeable and very helpful. They cared about the people who were there. It was clear that they knew all the employees and that it was a family environment.

We toured Rosewood Assisted Living & Memory Care, and it was the best tour we got. Shannon covered everything. She had a folder ready, and she wrote down what would be accommodating for the patient. She gave us a full tour and showed us what would happen if my friend needed to go into memory care. It would be a very short distance from where my friend is going to live, but his daughter and I couldn't commit because we don't know what the recommendations will be and the level of care that he's going to need. We have to leave that to the professionals over at Medical City. It had those handrails that looked like part of the decoration of the wall. The areas that they provide has short distance from one little sitting area to the next. In case the person can't walk very far, they can sit and rest. Then they can get up and go. Overall, it just provided the kind of care that possibly would be nice if my friend could get around. The rooms are really super nice. The layout has basically all you need which is a little sitting room, your bedroom, a good bathroom, and a walk-in shower. The walk-in shower was quite nice, and I think the actual room setting was ideal. I even met the gentleman who's the all-around Mr. Fix it, I guess. He was walking around checking things, moving things, and clearing things. He was also very nice. It's pleasing to the eye. Their dining area and their little Bistro area were both very nice. We got there at 10:00 in the morning, so we didn't see anybody eat. We looked at their menu and to have a choice of one or two is very nice. Shannon mentioned that if neither is appetizing to the person, there are snack things that are also nutritional for the person. The fact that they offer snacks through the day and beverages is good, and it is good to know that the person can partake in any of these areas. She was all-knowing, very much up on everything, and she was very prepared. She had a folder ready with what's required by the staff, the doctor, the medication, and the regime of what needs to be done to get that going if there's physical therapy to be done. All that plus she added in what the prices are for every level. It's good to know these things. The wall menu looked delicious. I did not see the food, but it looked really good. They also have a private family dining room area that was really nice.

If my parents are going anywhere, my sister and I selected Rosewood Assisted Living & Memory Care as our favorite and the reason was the rooms were larger, the living space was larger, and we liked it. My parents just felt like they didn't want to make that move quite yet. I liked that they had a doctor during the day and a nurse practitioner full time, 24 hours. I loved their dining area, and they were about to do some renovations and they showed us what they were going to do. They had a beautiful courtyard and we would've wanted a room on the courtyard so that they had access to that. The staff was great. It had a memory care facility, which was good. My father has Alzheimer's, so that was good, and it was a small unit. All the staff members we came in contact with were great. If I had to put them in more of an assisted place, that would've been where we would've gone. It had a beauty salon and they were hiring somebody to do manicures and pedicures. They had a podiatrist that came in. The staff was really sweet. They were doing renovations and they're gonna be nice once they get them.

My wife moved into Rosewood Assisted Living two weeks ago. Everything is going OK right now. She likes it over there and they have good staff. It's a big place, bigger than one she was in. It's well run, clean, and the help is nice. I met a few of the caregivers, and of course, the administrator is very nice. I haven't seen anybody I don't like. The rooms are adequate, you know, there's plenty of room in them. I like the fact that it's got its shower and plenty of room for just one person, you know, it's clean. It's spacious for one person, it's got room for one bed in there, the dresser and some tables and stuff. It's just like an efficiency apartment, that's all she needs, she's close by to the facilities and everything. She said she likes the food, and they can choose what they want to eat. They have some table games and they have sports and crafts going on over there. They've had activities, they put them on a table and they built things and work. There's a little thing to keep her mind running. A lot of them just aren't capable, you know, they're in a wheelchair and they're just kind of sleeping most of the time, but the ones that can get around and most of them could walk a little bit with walkers. They keep them fairly busy, as far as I could see. It looks fine to me. It's a nice place. It has more staff and there's less turnover. The people who run the place other than the administrator, she's only been there a few months, but most of the help there has been there a few years ago. They've even got a salon in there with a beauty operator who's been there and she's good. It's just nice. I like it. It's like you're walking into a hotel lobby when you walk into the front door. Everything's clean. It's got a nice cafeteria, a place to sit up front for visitors and whatnot.

We toured Rosewood Assisted Living & Memory Care. We liked it, but the expense was more than what we are paying where were at by a lot. We weren't there very long. The parking was insufficient for visitors. It seemed like a good place to be. Everything was clean and the people that were there seemed happy. The only thing that held us back was the pricing. We looked at the largest room that they have. It was larger than any place else we've looked at for the same price. The staff seemed like to be very business-like. The location would have been great for Mom because it's right across from the hospital just in case. Her doctor, dentist, and all that was in the same area. The location is great, but the parking is not because you have to park in the back and walk all the way around to the front of the building. There is just not enough parking for visitors. They need to improve the parking area. I don't know how they could because they've only got a certain amount of property. The parking was really my only complaint, and the pricing was just more than we were going to do. I liked the lady that walked us through. She was answered every question. I believe she was having another tour after us, but we didn't really feel hurried through. She was great. The facility looked clean. I like the colors, the layout, and the way they did the door locks. It was really good.

My mother is a resident there. She has only been there for about a week. So far the staff is very friendly and attentive. The food is very good. I love that there is a courtyard for the residents to enjoy. I believe have a secure outdoor area is so important. They have lots of activities. I am not sure is my mom will ever participate, but it is there if she wants to join in.

My mom moved into Rosewood the Monday before Thanksgiving. It's been fine, but we had all sorts of complications that were not Rosewood's fault. It's very clean and very nice. Everybody is very friendly. The room is the perfect size for her. Everything is good, it's convenient, and easy to access. I haven't been able to try the food, but she said it's good. The staff has been wonderful. I have not seen any problems with the facility. However, the day my mom got there, she fell and went to the ER and then tested positive for Covid; those were the complications we had that aren't Rosewood's fault. I'm not sure of their activities because she is in isolation. Value for money is good.

My husband stayed at Rosewood Assisted Living. I love the staff, and everybody there was super nice. However, I felt like we didn't get the services that they talked to us about when they were telling us about the place and what they have to offer. Once we got there, I felt like they dropped the ball and didn't meet my expectations. He was there for 10 days, and he fell about five times. We were under the impression that he could push the button and tell somebody that he had fallen and needs help, but that wasn't the case. He pushed the button and had to wait for somebody to come. The first girl that came was the tour guide, so she was probably just an aide. When we finally talked to the director, he was only aware that he had fallen once. The staff never reported to her all the times that he fell. On the weekends, he was supposed to get a pain medication in the morning. He asked about it, and they told him he's not supposed to get pain medication in the morning even though he was supposed to. So he never got his meds that time. We did report that to them, and they were going to take that up with the girl who works on the weekend. We also realized that he needed more care than what they're offering. Maybe that was just a misunderstanding on my part, but they did say they have medical staff available 24/7. Somebody happened over the weekend so I called the staff, and she never answered the phone. The rooms get a 5-star, everything was fantastic. His bedroom was actually separated, and he had a little living area with a refrigerator, and a big bathroom with walk-in shower. The meals were really good as well. I would rate the staff a , because a couple of them should have reported to the nursing director when my husband had fallen but they didn't. They were all very nice, and the ones we dealt with were very helpful, and all the management staff was really nice. Maybe I just expected too much. The food gets 5 stars because it was great.

Rosewood was good. I would recommend them, but they're on the expensive side. They're right across from the hospital, so that is what makes them a little pricier. I like the decor, it's elegant, it's homey, and it doesn't feel like an institution at all. It's like you're in a nice hotel. Everybody seems to be friendly. They have scheduled activities, a library, church services, movies that they show in one room, and a hairstylist.

Rosewood truly has alot people there who truly care about the residents. There are have been changes in management over the past few months. Some staff has stayed and some have left. The ones that have stayed are truly angels. The new chef is awesome, the presentation and the taste are wonderful. My loved transferred to memory care and the level of care is warms my heart. The patience and compassion they have for the residents allows me to sleep at night knowing my loved one is safe and secure. The leadership team are very hands-on, not just sitting their offices. I often see them helping residents and staff. This place gives love.

We did go to Rosewood Assisted Living. It was beautifully maintained, and they had lots of activities, but it is too expensive for my father. It was very good. The individuals that live there seemed to be enjoying themselves and enjoying the activities. They even had a spa area where if you want, you can go in and sit in the spa bath and take your bath. They help the people in and out of the bath. The rooms were very nice.

I visited Rosewood, and I thought it was a very nice place. It was new, clean, and tastefully decorated. It seemed to be secured. The rooms were small, but I thought they were well designed. They checked in to know where you were going and so forth. They had movies. They play games like bridge. It seemed to be a very nice place. The staff seemed very friendly and capable as far as I could see.

Care partner to resident ratio is too low. No monitoring of front desk on weekends or after 5pm week days. No covered drive through to load and unload residents in bad weather. Nothing was done when these were brought to owners' attention. New facility and beginning manager was very personable to residents but new manager did not show a caring interest in residents. These are the things I observed during a 19 month period.

Rosewood Assisted Living is a relatively new place, and it is excellent. Sanitation is excellent. The staff is also excellent. They are very attentive to my parents. The caregivers there are young people who work very hard to take good care of their residents. Also, the facility itself is gorgeous. Their rooms, even though they are relatively small, as most assisted living places, are extremely comfortable and clean. They are cleaned regularly. My parents have a sink and a full refrigerator. It is completely wonderful.

Rosewood was really nice. They have a nice accommodation, large in size, seemed to be well kept and maintained. Everybody was out in their rooms in the group area and participating in activities. They had group activities going on because it was a Saturday. I remember seeing things planned and scheduled on bulletin boards.
