We have my father in Mayberry Gardens - Denton Texas now. I liked the way that it is set up in two separate little buildings so that he has more individualized care. They have someone that does activities with them like yoga. They have a separate building that they can take them to for things like stationary bicycles and other gym equipment that they have. They have arts and crafts, which he's not interested in because he's a man, but the ladies that are at the building do the arts and crafts. The staff are so much better than the last place we were at. They are very friendly. They are taking care of him daily as far as making his bed and helping him get dressed whereas at the last place, I would go in and he would be wearing the same clothes three days in a row. Mayberry Gardens are doing a much better job of keeping his room clean, keeping his clothes clean, and helping him get dressed.

My mother is in Mayberry Gardens. The people are real nice and the food is real nice, which is kind of important to her. She has a nice, big room. The staff has been great, and she really likes the food. It's a really nice facility. It's close to family, and that's one of the reasons we picked it. She also likes the activities because she likes to do stuff. They have bingo, crafts, and they play games. Activities are just coming back from COVID. The value for the money has been good.

My mom moved into Mayberry Gardens and I really like it. It's nice and clean, and everyone's courteous and helpful. The administrator went above and beyond her duty to see that we were pleased with everything. I tasted the food and it tasted fine to me.

My dad is in the memory care of Mayberry Gardens. I love the general appearance of the place. It has five homes, and there are 15 people in each home. They have a kitchen, an activities/dining table, and a sitting area up front with a TV and a piano. People play the piano occasionally and entertain. They have Dominoes, Bingo, concerts, and movies. I have been pleased with the staff. They all seem friendly and helpful. At this point, I have been very pleased.
