I have a friend who lives here. He likes the food and is gaining weight. The place has a nice layout. The staff is friendly. My friend gave me a calendar of the activities, of which they have all sorts. However, it's an older place, and they don't have roll-in showers.

Juniper Village at Preston Hollow seemed nice. It met the check box that we're looking for, as far as, food and care. The only thing is, they just have one nurse right now. I think the staff said that they are going to hire another nurse who was supposed to start in a couple of weeks. It's a big facility. It's 90 units. It looked like a nice place and everything. As for activities, they have cooking, they have a library, they have church services, they have games, and they do a lot of exercise.

My sister will be moving into Juniper Village at Preston Hollow. I liked all of them, as far as the people go. I liked this facility. It was located very, very close to the rest of my family. It was important so that my sister could feel like she was close to the family. It's the neighborhood she grew up in. I thought that it was very clean, and the actual room that she got, the little efficiency or studio, I like the way it was laid out. The staff was great. I just thought it was a good fit for her. Her studio wasn't one big room. You walked in and you kind of walked into the living room area. It had to the left a little kitchenette with a microwave and a small refrigerator, but the bedroom part was like a little alcove. So, when you first walked into the room, you couldn't see the bedroom side. Even though it was all open, it didn't feel like when you walked in and saw the bed first thing. I liked that about the room. My sister and my mother had lunch there, and they said it was very good. Every time we've been there, it's been great. They've been very helpful as far as all the administrative details. It in terms of just interacting, they've all been very nice, accessible, friendly, and helpful. It looks clean. People seemed happy there. It's kind of the right size for her.

They had knowledgeable staff. They had a nice landscaping and safe environment, but the rooms were too small, even when they took two rooms and took the wall out and made it into one room. That’s when they had two bathrooms, and they needed to make one of the stock rooms into something else to have more room. I would recommend it to someone who could stay in a smaller room.

We went here, which is assisted living and memory care. The staff member was a very nice lady, but the facility wasn’t as nice. The amenities and the way that it was set up for the assisted living and the memory care location wasn’t a happy environment. The rooms were fine and spacious. They had a main sitting area where they all seemed to be interacting. It wasn’t as warm and cozy as the other location.

My sister moved in, and it's very near where I live. We like the facility. The people were very friendly, and very helpful when we went there. We like the arrangement of the room, and the price range is reasonable. We just felt like it was the best fit. What impressed me were the people, and the services they had to offer. We like the ambience. It's very home-like. I like the staff very much. They seemed to be very knowledgeable, and I felt like they could fulfill her needs.

We have my stepfather in. I have nothing negative to say about the place. It is all wonderful. The staff does a good job, so we're pleased. The rooms are very nice. They have entertainers that come in and sing. The food is very good. I've eaten there myself, and it is very good. The dining area is very nice. That was one of the things I was impressed with because it is a very nice dining room with linen napkins, and the presentation is very nice. It is quite lovely in fact. I am very impressed with the dining room. It is a small enough community that everyone from the working staff to the office personnel are all known by everyone, and they know all the residents. Security is excellent. I would absolutely recommend this community.

It was very nice. I liked it. It was fine, and nothing was wrong with it. I would use it if my mom was interested; however, our situation changed. They had excellent service.

We chose it because of its location, the facility condition, and the people working there. The staff is excellent. They are very professional and polite and they really care for our needs. They are always very attentive to everything. The room is pretty spacious for just one person. My grandfather said the food is excellent and he loves it there. The dining room is very nicely set up and it looks like a banquet hall. They have an activity director who kind of brings in new stuff every day, so there are a lot of opportunities for activity. I like the fact that everything is provided and taken care of -- basically full service, like a hotel.

It did have a good environment. There were trees all around. They also have a big dining room. The residents there seemed happy and this facility has activities for them. They really try to get them involved in things. They even had a little memory class going on at the time of my visit. It appeared to be a very caring place and that's my impression; however, I just didn't think it was the right facility for my parents at the moment.

My parents moved in last April. We chose this facility because they were able to provide the accommodation that my parents wanted. They wanted a two-room apartment with two bath and they were one of the few facilities who could provide that. It's a smaller place and a little more personal. Their rooms are nice and clean. There are no kitchens in any room. They do have a half refrigerator with no freezer and there is a microwave that must be provided by the facility. There are no other electrical appliances allowed for safety reasons. They don't allow any throw rugs on the floor because they can contribute to falls. They take pictures at dinner, they dance to the music, and everybody seems to have a pretty good time. They have a nice activity room with a full kitchen. They have a lot of outings with a bus coming there. They have a regular driver and they post the outings. They have a calendar for the whole month and then the post individual ones so that people can sign up for it. They also do shopping. My mother is blind, in a wheelchair and has Parkinson's, but there is always somebody that goes with her and helps her. She gets personal attention. The staff is very accommodating. The front desk staff and the dining staff are very nice.

It was a marvelous place and the staff was great. I went on a rainy day and they just went out of their way. I liked the room they had there. It had a nice bedroom and a nice sitting area, plenty of closet space and a microwave oven. It was pretty roomy.

Their facilities were great and above everything else. I also visited this place for my wife. Their apartments were outstanding and above the norm. They had several different but very good floor plans to choose from. The staff was very active. Regarding activities, there was a lot of going on in this place. They played a lot of games and it seemed that they had activities every hour. The only problem I had was the location. It was too far away from where I was at.

I have a friend who lives at this community. Everytime I speak with her she is so happy she decided to move to this property. All she talks about is how her life has completly changed since moving to this community. She has made so many friends and her dog is loved by all the staff and residents. Every time I visit her she is always participating in some sort of activity. Im so happy that she has found a loving place she can call home.

My parents chose it because it had the amenities they needed. The facility was very nice. The staff were more than happy to accommodate any special needs and seemed interested when they moved in. They had three meals in a day in the dining area. There was a wide range of activities for those who were able. They both seemed happier.
