My husband is a resident of Bristol Park Conroe. I like the staff because they are very caring and they do a lot of one-on-one with the residents. They encourage them a lot to do different things that normally they don't do. They observe them closely and they are concerned for their safety and well-being. I'm very pleased with them. They really pay attention to me and my needs, too. They have wonderful support groups that help us.

I liked the variety of activities that Bristol Park Conroe has. I've talked to a couple of the ladies there and they seemed to be very nice and very friendly, and that's important to me, so my sister won't feel so alone. The staff was very knowledgeable, very helpful, and answered all the questions. I was very pleased, because I had a lot of questions. The room layout was perfect for what I think my sister would need. The only complaint I would have is that it's not central air and heat. Other than that, I liked that they had other choices if she would not like the menu that's being served. The dining area was very nice. It was more intimate than I thought it might be. They're sitting at a table not by themselves, but with two or three other people. I thought it was nice that they had company. There are so many activities they can choose from and they are welcome to participate. They're not forced to. They have exercise, an area where they could garden, an area where they can walk around the outside that was fenced in, a screened in back porch, puzzles they can work on, and a TV that you can watch. There's just a variety of things. I liked that the people that work there were very nice. I watched how they interacted with some of the residents and they were very kind and very patient. The facilities were more than sufficient. It was a welcoming atmosphere and I was pleased overall. Cleanliness was great and the facility doesn't look old. It looks like it's been well-maintained. It's not perfect but it's very good.

My mother-in-law is now in Bristol Park Conroe. We chose it because it just seemed like the perfect fit. They offer a lot of things we were looking for. The caregivers are real knowledgeable in taking care of dementia patients, and it has all turned out good. The staff is really attentive. They listen to us (the family members), if we have any questions. They try to really do what we ask, as far as checking on my mother-in-law all the time throughout the day. They get her up for activities and encourage her a lot. The food is really great too, and they have activities throughout the day. When compared to others, this place has the best price. There were some places that were less expensive, but they were not as one-on-one. Also, the other places didn't have as many activities. Just the comfort that she has is nice. She was able to bring her own furniture and make it more her own.

My father will be moving into Bristol Park Conroe. It was bright and clean and just alive. The other ones I went to all seemed very depressed and sad and dark, and the residents were just kind of sitting there. This one had so many more activities going on, plus the price fit into our price range. I had a few of the desserts and they were wonderful. They've got a really nice, big outside screened-in porch. They have a big walking area where you can take them for walks or push the wheelchair around. They've got music for the residents, bingo, and a lot of other things. They've got barbers right there to cut their hair. They've got a little soda shop and snack shop for them. Everybody was very, very helpful, and friendly. They knew all the residents. Every time they passed one, they did interact with them. It was good. The building is beautiful and looks brand new. It's real bright and cheery. There's a lot of different sitting areas for the residents. They have a large hallway where they could sit and watch TV, or sit and look at books, or sit and visit with their family, whatever they want to do. It was very clean. It makes you feel good when you walk in. I didn't really see any of the other food right then, but there were a lot of options. If they didn't like one thing, they were going to find something that they liked.

My husband and I feel truly blessed to have found such a wonderful place for our parents. The rooms are great for the residents and have different sizes to meet your loved ones needs. The staff is absolutely outstanding. They are caring, attentive and respectful to all the residents and family members. Our parents love the morning activities, meals, music times, bingo and outings. The staff interact with the residents to keep them alert, flexible and oriented. The community has a movie theater, beauty/barber salon, potting room, soda fountain room, screened patio and so much more. We love love love this special place that can take are of them and keeping making great memories for the families with their loved ones.

If you choose Bristol park you will have the comfort of knowing your loved one is in the best hands. I can’t say enough about the care, joy, and love each person gives to my mother in law. No matter the director, activity director, care taker, or janitor they all know her BY NAME and give her the respect she deserves and the divinity of being a human being regardless of her memory. I find such peace every time I visit when my mother in law walks away from me to go be with her friends at Bristol park.

I have had my mother at this facility for almost 3 years now. The rooms can be set up to be home like with personal items. There are plenty of on site amenities for activities. The employees are always courteous and helpful. If you have questions or concerns about your loved one, the employees are quick to answer or to find the answer or solution needed to solve the problem.

My mother-in-law was at Bristol Park for several years. She started out walking with a walker to her final days being wheelchair confined. She absolutely loved going for walks in the beautiful back yard. She would always say, one more time around please. Then she enjoyed resting in the screened in patio area. As her care level needs increased, the staff was fully able to care for her as she moved into her wheelchair stage. I ate with her on several occasions and the food was always good. The staff was always so warm and inviting and fun to cut up with. If I should need to be in care facility as I age, this is definitely a place I would want to be.

My Mom was a 5-year resident at Bristol Park Conroe. From the day she first moved in to the day she passed (at the age of 96), she was well cared for by a team of the most compassionate and caring folks I know. I can say this first hand because I visited my Mom daily for 2 hours either during her lunch or dinner time. I witness the amount of hard work the staff did tirelessly to care for everyone with Love. I do believe nothing is perfect in this world. We may have lost a sock or two in the laundry, but I have learned to not sweat the small stuff. My mom’s most important needs were met. She was a feisty and an independent person. She didn’t want any help. As her body started getting tired, she needed much more assistance. She fought that, to try to keep her independence. The staff had patience with her. If I was traveling and unable to see her, I would call in and talk to her. Mom would assure me, “they are really taking good care of me”. Those words were worth gold to me.

We chose Heartis Conroe for my mother. We're very pleased with the community, and it's only about seven to eight years old. It's very nice on the inside with good facilities. They have one whole area which almost looks like a street in small-town America with a sweet shop, a barber and beauty shop, a potting shed area, and a little movie theater. Every day they have assemblies with all the residents and they play music, watch movies, sing, and do all kinds of things together. Everybody is involved and the staff seems very nice and caring. We've eaten there a couple of times and the food is always good.

My wife is staying at Heartis Conroe. The experience has been good. The staff takes excellent care of my wife and I am very pleased with them. The rooms are spacious enough. The food is good and saw my wife gobbled her food. I have also eaten there thrice or four times. They have the normal activities that most communities have. As far as the operation is concerned, I have no complaints.
