I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

Centerville Healthcare took such good care of my 97 year old Mom with her rehabilitation. Everyone was extremely caring and so patient with her. All the Nurses listened to my Moms concerns and did there best to accommodate her. Thankful and blessed

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My father came to Centerville about a year ago with dementia and so was confused and wanted to leave. He had a room to himself, which was just big enough for us to visit in, the bathroom was a small sink and toilet but residents use showers in the halls. The room had a large window that looked out at the entrance and street. There were some table top garden beds but looked like they were not in use when I visited. The building was clean, smelled fine, and was maintained. Residents were out in the hall and living room watching tv and hanging out when I've visited. My dad did enjoy some PT but most activities are held in the cafeteria including a movie collection, and library (my dad wasn't interested in any of it). There is an open chapel area in one of the wings. I found the staff to all be very kind and supportive of me and my dad, especially during the craziness of the pandemic. They are respectful of his needs and make an effort to make sure he's comfortable (then leave him alone as that's what he wants). The visiting doctor was also very nice. I'm grateful for their help and kindness. Communication has also been adequate.

I am a friend or relative of a resident

I visited this nursing home fairly regularly up to about 8 months ago. The staff was very friendly, and i had regular conversations with several of the nurses that helped my great grandmother through her daily tasks. The facility itself was well kept up, though it was beginning to show its age. The building was built most likely around the late seventies, and it had a very nice, well stocked cafeteria. When I was there I did see many of the residents out of their rooms socializing near the intrance, though the activities they were able to do were limited to mainly visiting, checkers, puzzles, and other simple games. From the exterior, the building was kept up, and the residents could walk around the flower gardens near the windows to the rooms. The rooms were fairly large, well kept, well lit and very clean. I enjoyed visiting the nursing home, and while she was there my great grandmother seemed to enjoy her time there as well. She never had anything bad to say about the staff, and they kept her in good health and spirits.
