Surrounded by family treasures and memories, the residents live in the comfort and privacy of their own rooms in a spacious, ranch style, one level home with built-in security features such as a secured patio and roomy backyard. They bond with and enjoy the companionship of other residents and inevitably form a �family feeling� that eliminates the loneliness or isolation often experienced in institutional settings. They enjoy luxury accommodations including exquisite furnishings in these fine homes.
We provide professional and sensitive care for the physical, emotional, mental, and social needs of our residents. Our care focuses on the safety and well-being of our residents, 24-hours a day. We have many excellent referrals and are licensed by the State of Texas as a small/large Class B Assisted Living with Alzheimer and Related Disorders certification.

The Avalon Memory Care-Carrollton II facility was nice. It was newer than the other place I toured but the pricing was higher. And the bathrooms are great, but to fit in with our pricing, we'd have to go to a shared room and it looks very small. I met with Matthew there, he was the one that toured us throughout, and he was excellent. It just sounded better in regards to them being able to respond to the needs of our father and understanding his current situation with his Alzheimer's. The building and quality of the structure are all good, but I felt like the pricing was too much for having a shared room. The staff all seemed to be very nice, knowledgeable, and understanding. The place was very clean and seemed to be operating efficiently.

Avalon Memory Care has just opened. My husband was their first resident, and they have just recently gotten a second resident. They need more residents so that they can have more interaction. I had to talk to them about giving him more activities, and they seem to be cooperating. I think they should have a couple of choices on the food menu, but my husband seems to be doing fine. Right now, I am very satisfied.
