The staff at Elk Creek Senior Living Community are very friendly and helpful. It's always clean. I would not mind being there, I hope I don't have to, but they seem very happy. I have two friends at Elk Creek, and they're just happy. They have a little community area where they visit and work puzzles, so they have social activities there. One of my friends is in a studio. It has like a little stove, a fridge, a sitting area and a bedroom, all in one, and then a nice big bathroom and closet there for one person. It would be very adequate especially with the area where you can have friends come and visit. The other friend does have a separate bedroom, so I know they have different sized places to rent. The outside is very nice. They have benches and chairs, and the landscaping is good. It looks like a place you could be happy to live. I have not seen anything that would make it like the place. The staff members are friendly and fun. If I say something that's supposed to be funny, they laughed. They're very nice and helpful. If I can't find who I'm looking for, well, they help me find them.

I toured Elk Creek Assisted Living and Memory. What I like best about that community is they had a large activities room, and all the rooms came off of it like a circle. There were no long hallways. The staff was good. It's almost brand new. They do not have private rooms. They only had two in the whole facility. They have double rooms, and they're dorm-style. They're very interactive with their clients and the staff, and the atmosphere was very nice.

What I liked best about Elk Creek Assisted Living and Memory Care was the location. It was closer to us. The least thing about it was probably the cost and the community fee. We only met the director and she was OK. The rooms seemed clean. We looked at a studio and a one-bedroom. I think they would have been fine. They were well laid out for a little apartment. They had the option of physical therapy. They also have transportation to the grocery store. It was just a little concerning when the director that we talked to had already left. I don't know what kind of turnover in their staff they're having, or if that was just a coincidence that she had left soon after I called back, but I understand people change jobs. It happens. The facility was a little bit older, but it was clean.

I did not care for Elk Creek Assisted Living and Memory Care. It looks like an old-fashioned nursing home when you drive up, and it looked and felt like an old-fashioned nursing home on the inside. I was not impressed by it at all. I hate to say anything bad because all I did was tour the place, but from the tour it didn't leave me with a warm, fuzzy feeling to it. The staff was nice though. They offer in-house physical therapy and occupational therapy. They have a beautician that comes in. The rooms were kind of sparse. It's a small living area, a place for your bed, and a nice, large bathroom, while the other one I went to had beautiful suites. So, Elk Creek was just kind of plain, just a room and a bathroom.

I was able to see the memory care at Elk Creek Assisted Living and Memory Care, the dining room, and the front area. I like the people and the staff. They all seem very attentive to the residents. Even though my tour was canceled, the person who came out to talk to me wasn't the person who was supposed to give me the tour because she didn't go since she couldn't give it. She was very kind and she cared. The facility was clean and was very nice. Their dining room was clean, it was large and it looked like a restaurant. Everybody looks safe, there wasn't anything alarming to me when I was there. Someone walked towards the door and they just started talking to him, asking him where he was going, and then just kind of redirected him. But the doors are locked, so it's okay.

We're on a waiting list for Elk Creek Senior Living Community. We were impressed with the staff, the facility was very clean, and they were having church service while we were there. We were just impressed with the whole setup. I don't have anything negative to say. I just felt it was clean and smelled good. They have a bistro, a dining room, a courtyard, and a salon. The rooms were what I expected, not huge, but the double room was quite large. It's close to where we live.

Elk Creek Senior Living Community was in a nice area. It was set up in a larger living area with a large number of people within this building. The rooms were very nice too. It looked clean, and you could get a room with a small kitchenette in it. The layout was also good. In fact, when we talked to one of their residents that had been to several communities, he said that Elk Creek Senior Living Community was the best place he had been. They had this hallway that went around the whole perimeter of the building. They had another hallway where the different little apartments are. They have a little workout room, laundry facilities, and a movie room that was not really being used much right now due to COVID.

We chose Elk Creek in Burleson for Mom. We really like it. It's very nice, they seem to take really good care of the people, and they keep them busy. They have activities like crafts, jigsaw puzzles, and games. Her room is really nice, and they keep it really clean. They have an exercise room, but it's not open since COVID. They have a salon, so she gets her hair done every week. There's a lot they used to do that they aren't doing right now because of COVID. She's in memory care.

My mom is at Elk Creek Senior Living. It's close to where I live. It's excellent, and everything is good. She has been there for a couple of weeks now. The food is good, and there are good choices. Its layout is one of the reasons we chose the place, it's in a U-shape and it's small, and there's always staff by the front door, too.

My mother has been at Elk Creek for a few months now. The facility is lovely. The staff has been very good. When my mother was in her own home she was rather isolated and being at Elk Creek she has made friends and there are so many opportunities to play games and participate in activities with others . Her only complaint is that the food could be better. She misses her home and all its memories but she is enjoying being at Elk Creek.
