I toured The Waterford at Baytown. I tried their food. It was a very good meal. It was presented well, and it had a great taste. Everything was very clean. It was pretty much a modern facility. The rooms were a little bit small but for what they are, they're decent-sized. I met quite a few of the staff and I'm impressed with their friendliness and their attentiveness to the people.

My husband and I toured the Waterford of Baytown with a very pleasant and Personable gentleman named Sterling...he was very knowledgeable of the community and took great pride in his job.My husband and Sterling connected immediately over being hometown residents of Baytown and Highlands... and our grown children went to the same highschool a few years apart. We are moving my mother- in- law in a week or so, we are excited for her. And on multiple occasions of visiting and talking with other staff , everyone is very welcoming. Samantha and Brittany have been amazing, we are excited to have our mother living in such a special community, giving her quality and quantity of life...

My MIL has been at the Waterford in the Memory Care unit since January 2024 and we couldn’t be more pleased with the care she is receiving. Everyone is so kind and patient. Love the activities and socials they have to keep the residents engaged. I highly recommend the Waterford Baytown.

My mom has a unique set of care needs, so I’m very thankful we found a home for her in Magnolia Trails Memory Care. Mom has adjusted well in the five months she has has lived there, loves that her private room is furnished with her things, and has attached to her favorite caregivers who are attentive and take wonderful care of her. However, response time when she calls for help is often slow due to limited staffing. Mom said she is bored a lot as there isn’t much to do, especially in the afternoons as activities are lacking most days. She also wishes she could go outside more but since she is wheelchair bound, she isn’t able to maneuver herself through the doors. She does enjoy (most) of the food though!

I came to visit a friend the other day and they were having a big event and so many people were in the lobby then artwork was down the halls. To see so much life and happiness after the hurricane truly moved me to leave a review. Which I never do! Keep it up Waterford.

I came after hours yesterday to check on pricing for my brother and even though it is out of the price range the community was lovely. I met with the Executive Director and she was so kind and gave me all sorts of resources and asked a lot of questions about my brother. No other place did that. The lobby was beautiful and the music was so relaxing. I didn’t want to leave.

The Waterford at Baytown was a good place, but it was completely out of my price range. They were very informative. They showed us pretty much everything. They have a lot of activities for the residents. They take them out. They have a salon inside and amazing amenities, but again, you pay for them. I saw the memory care and the staff there was nice. It looked like their people had been there for a while. I met the cook and the cook has been there forever. It's a small place but it's well taken care of. They have a beautiful courtyard, and the facility is very clean.

We would have liked to know how often my family member would be checked on when in her room. We would have liked to know the schedule for shower days and if they are during the day or evening. We would have liked to have an idea of the schedule for bedtime. It would have been nice to be made aware of future price increases, especially when the increase would be so drastic. We would have liked to know the schedule of housekeeping and just exactly what that would include in my family member's room. Also, if there was something that needed an extra visit from housekeeping, that a caregiver would call them. We would have liked to know that my family member's clothing would be returned to her room after laundering, and that clothing that did not belong to her would not be put in her room. We would have liked to know how often my family member would be checked to make sure her disposable undergarment and pants were not soiled. We would have liked to know that the staff would check my family member to make sure her fingernails and feet were clean and not crusted in dried feces. We would also have liked to know that a caregiver would help our family member wash her hands before meals and snacks. Childcare facility even do this with infants and toddlers.

The Waterford at Baytown is a beautiful place. The tour director represented it really, really well. She explained how they work, what they do, and what roles their staff has. She explained that there are different levels of care, depending on how much care your loved one needs. The price depends on the amount of care. It's private pay. They have a hair salon, and there were ladies in there getting their hair and nails done. They have a movie theater, a library, puzzle rooms, and a beautiful courtyard. Everything was spotlessly clean and smelled nice. I was really impressed. The nice thing is that they have a nurse that assesses the resident. Then they can change levels if they need to. It was just a really positive experience. The room that my mom would probably be most comfortable in has a tiny kitchenette with a refrigerator, a counter space, a sink, a large bathroom with lots of grab bars, and a shower. It was a really large shower that you could even get a wheelchair on it if you needed to. It had a bedroom that could accommodate a queen-size bed. It had a dresser and a closet that was built in. It was nice. You can get a view of the courtyard, which I think my mom would really like. The receptionist was really friendly, and she's been there for a while. The facility is very lovely to look at. It's pet friendly, which is impressive too because some people are so close to their pets. I saw a chair exercise session, which was very upbeat.

I went to The Waterford at Baytown. They're very clean and spacious. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The room that they showed me was fully furnished. They already had a bed countertop, TV, lamps, and one of them did have a chair in there as well, like a rocking chair. The facility had a patio.

My husband has moved into The Waterford at Baytown. It was close to us, the memory facility and the staff were excellent, and that's what I wanted for him. The facility is super nice and the people are wonderful and very caring. The food is good too. They have activities every day. They do movie nights, tossing the ball, and all sorts of different things. It has everything that he needs and enjoys. The upkeep is very good and they have a gym, a library, a salon, a courtyard, and a movie room.

My mother has moved into The Waterford at Baytown memory care. So far, I like everything. They've done evaluations on her. We're looking at getting Medicare options and the additional services they can provide. They're encouraging participation in events, and she does. It's very clean, and it does not have a hospital or retirement-home smell. I've been in several others that don't really smell great. I have been there for a meal and it was good. They have several activities throughout the day every day. There's bingo and balloon ball. They're all out of pocket. There's no Medicare coverage there, but I think the value is pretty good; you get a nice, clean room. The only thing that I don't like about it is the doors don't lock, so anyone can come in your room. I wish that they had locks on the doors that would close automatically, and then if you forget your key you could always get a staff person to let you back in. There have been no missing items, though.

I like The Waterford at Baytown. It is wonderful. It is very clean and nice. We were looking for a place for under $2000, and that place is above that, but I love the place. They have a workout room, a beauty salon, and a garden. It is nice. The staff is excellent. The menu is good. They gave us a package of all the information including the menu. The facility is excellent. The staff is very nice.

I did an in-person tour of The Waterford at Baytown. It's very nice, but too big. They wanted to put Mom on the second floor with the elevator and it was a no. The people were very nice. It was probably because of COVID, but I didn't see many people around. Everybody seemed to be in their room. The memory care was in another wing and there were just a few people there, and it seemed big and empty. They just built a new wing for the memory care, so the assisted living and the memory care were the same building. They gave us some food, and it was really good. The dining area was empty, there were just tables, and we didn't eat up there. We went into the apartment, and they had the food there waiting.

I visited The Waterford at Baytown and it was very nice. I was only there for a few hours with the tour. There were a lot more staff members there, and there seemed to be more interaction with the patients. The rooms were nice. They had rooms where they could share a room, which my mom didn't want. That would bring the price down a little bit, but they were just too expensive. They had a movie room upstairs, a theater room, a lot of activities, and a gym. They had a lot of different things. It's just the price, she couldn't afford them. I was only there a couple of hours, but everyone seemed nice. There were a lot more staff members employed there, so of course they are getting more of personal one-on-one attention. I think they were on the process of redoing it, and some of it they had already done, but it looked very nice, and like I said the rooms were very nice.

The Waterford at Baytown was very nice and more upscale than the other places. The rooms were very nice. Nobody was unfriendly at all and they're pretty helpful. They had a lot more activities there and a lot of outings. The dining area was very clean. They had a chapel and common areas for them to play games. The facility was really nice, just a little out of our budget and a little far for us distance wise.

The Waterford at Baytown was very nice. The memory care unit was well done. The staff was good, really nice, and thorough as far as their tour. The facility was pretty. The rooms were semi-private, but the showers were in the halls. They were separated from the rooms, which we weren't real crazy about. They were more like a communal shower. I didn't like that it was a memory care unit, which was separate from the rest of the people, although that's probably the only way they could have done it. The building as a whole was nice.

My mother has moved into The Waterford at Baytown. They do a very good job there. Their apartments are a little on the small size, but the place is very clean. The room that my mother took had been freshly painted and has a good view of a really nice courtyard. The staff has gone out of their way to be extremely professional, very receptive, and very encouraging. I ate one of the meals with my mother while she was considering what place to go to, and they have a variety of choices on their menu. It is not just a fixed menu, which I thought that was very good. The food was excellent. The security is adequate. They automatically lock all their doors at 9:00, and you have to have a password to get in. My impression is that they monitor suppliers for their facility pretty well.

The Waterford at Baytown looked like one of those skilled nursing places in an older building and didn’t look too appealing. I didn’t feel comfortable in there. The staff that assisted me was very nice. We didn’t see many residents. The room looked basic with nothing spectacular about it. I wasn’t too happy about it. It doesn’t look like somewhere to go and enjoy the rest of your life because it had a hospital look.

The Waterford At Baytown looks real nice. They have everything fixed up on the outside of the apartments. But this is more expensive than the one we visited. The staff were very helpful. They sat down with us and ran down everything. They showed us some rooms. They were very professional. The entire facility is clean. I like the way they were able to fix up the rooms on the outside of the door. There are rocking chairs on the big space outside the apartment door, so the residents can actually stay there if they want to.

You would expect so much better care for the money, but that is not the case. Medications are not well accounted for and leaves you wondering what else they don't pay attention to. Not a lot of "assistance" here. I give them one star for having the cost of cable included in their inflated pricing for minimal care. There billing and accounting are something that requires close attention. They can't seem to get that right either. They have especially gone down hill since the changed ownership. Just noticed, they won't let you pick a negative screen name either.

Remington Park Baytown was very good with him. But we wound up having to hire somebody to be with him 24/7 because he didn't want to be alone. They provided that person from their staff, and it was very good for him. They were very friendly to the family. They were very accommodating and very responsive to his needs. The person that sat with him helped him with everything. They have a wonderful dining room. They have a church activity, bingo, and movie nights. I just remember those three because I happen to be there. One side of it actually is full assisted living for people have had stroke or has Alzheimer's. These are the people who need help a lot. The other side is assisted living only if you needed it. It is more independent living. Once we got dad someone to sit with him 24/7, he moved back over to independent living. He didn't need anybody to check on him every two hours because he has someone with him all the time.

Remington Park was really nice. My mom got to stay there for about a week and a half. It’s like an apartment setting; they let you bring your own furniture in to make you feel at home. They serve good meals. The staff was good. It so happened that my brother-in-law’s mother was there, and my mother had interacted with her, so that made it good for a while.

My late Aunt was placed there against her will and when I arrived with a court order placing me as her Guardian I was denied visitation with my Aunt. I was also not allowed to remove my Aunt as per the court order I had to take them to court to get them to release her. They were rude to me and refused to acknowledge the court order. I would definitely not recommend them. It was as if they kept my Aunt prisoner.

Remington Park Baytown was a really nice place. The place was homey. It’s convenient to our doctors, hospitals and closest to us. The staff were really great. They were very helpful, outgoing and talked to us a lot in making decisions. They have an on duty medical technician in case you need somebody that has access to the hospital. They have different apartments with one or two bedrooms. They have an Alzheimer’s unit a little separate from the others. They made it clean, supplied the meals and had transportation service to doctors. The food was very good too. It’s not so structured, and you don’t have to be there around 7:30am for breakfast or lunch, they have free selected hours. They have an exercise room and all activities going on all day. I think this is the place we will go to. We found what we needed.

When I visited this nursing facility, it was to volunteer. Upon entering, I was cordially greeted by a member of the staff and shown a quick tour of the place. The staff was very friendly and I met many of the nurses and many of the patients. My volunteer duty was to spend time with some of the elderly people and entertain them as best I could. Along the way, besides meeting some very friendly and interesting people, I learned much about Remington Park. Apparently, the staff is always very friendly. Additionally, it was a very clean place with very attentive staff and the people who lived there never felt marginalized or ignored. The amenities, including the food and and sleeping arrangements, were top notch. Also, there were many activities for everyone to participate in. Since that time, I've volunteered more, and each time I've felt welcome and even inspired to spend more time there. The people, including the staff and residents, seemed happy with their choice to stay there.

In March of 2010 my grandma went to stay in the facilities at Remington Park. When I first visited her I noticed the lack of help I received in locating her. The staff seemed to be not very well organised and did not welcome or offer to help guest. When I finally got a nurse to point me to her unit I had to find the unit myself. She seemed to be generally happy with the conditions though she was upset at minor things. Her medication was given to her on time but her comfort level was not what it should of been. We had to provide her with a television and cable. She complained sometimes that the food was bad. The beds did not appear to be suitable for the amount of time and money spent. The nurses were very friendly but the rest of the staff did not seem to open for conversation. Her clothing was and general health were as expected but she did not have proper activities to keep her occupied or entertained during her stay. I saw no security or camera but it does not mean they were not present. I did however feel the lack supervision for the facility was not very professional for the amount of money that was paid. The price was outrageous for the the care provided but I guess it could of been much worse. Overall I would say minor things about this facility need to be looked at and addressed but the care provided was decent. The halls and bathrooms appeared to be very neat and clean. The recreation room appeared to be full of people who were doing many activities and enjoying there stay.
