Legacy Oaks of Azle is excellent. It's beautiful, clean, and updated. It's safe and everyone is very kind and helpful. From what my dad tells me, the food is pretty good. There's a menu and it's restaurant style. They have a special every day for lunch and dinner, and then they have regular staples that they offer each day. It's presented very nicely. The tables all have flowers on them and they offer a variety of drinks. They also do arts and crafts, they have movie nights, bingo, poker, spiritual get-togethers on Sundays, and a book club.

I went and visited Legacy Oaks of Azle Senior Living. I like it. The price point was great. It was much better. Everything was very contained, which is what I liked about that place. It was like one big square and then they had an open terrace area in the middle kind of thing. It seemed like a safe place to me, with just the way the building was set up. I also liked it because they had a little bistro. So if you miss dinner, you could just go get something ad hoc whenever. No smoking on this facility at all. And they would have to walk out of the premises, so that one might have to be a no-go.

We toured Legacy Oaks of Azle. The community facilities were lovely, but all they have are apartments, and the view is a busy highway, so we weren't interested in that. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The apartments were very small for what we were looking for, but they're beautiful. We tried the food and it was lovely. The dining area was very nice, very comfortable chairs, and with wheels on the chairs, so it was easy to manipulate. They have a pool and a small gym. If you don't need a large space, I would highly recommend them.

We visited Legacy Oaks of Azle and it was beautiful but extremely expensive. The lady who gave us the tour said it was like a cruise ship on land and it was kind of that. It was just really big, nice, and newer. The apartment that we saw had a kitchenette, two bedrooms, and a good-sized bathroom that was ADA-compliant. It was pretty plain, but it was nice. It had some blinds on the windows. It was a nice facility, but as far as going inside the rooms, it wasn't any bigger or grander than anywhere else. The rent included medicine management, 3 meals a day, and housekeeping. We had lunch there and it was good.

Legacy Oaks of Azle was beautiful. It was a really nice place. Everybody was friendly and the whole building was nice. The room that I saw was very roomy. It had enough closet space that I would need. It was apartment type. Everything was fine. I went in when they were eating in the lunchroom. I didn't eat, but I saw what they were eating, and I think that would be something that I would enjoy every day. I liked the courtyard. I liked everything about it. The tour guide was very nice. Everybody was nice and friendly, even the people that were eating turned to greet me. The cafeteria was all glass and you could see outside. It didn't look like you're abandoned in a dungeon.

My parents are residents of Legacy Oaks of Azle. I love the place, it's immaculate. Everyone there is very friendly and very helpful. Whenever my mother falls, they come up and pick her up for us and they don't have to do that. It's a wonderful community. We're not moving her because we don't like the community, we're moving them because they're 40 or 45 minutes from our house. We were trying to move them closer to us so that my brother and I would be ten or 15 minutes away and could drop over and see them. The distance has become too much, with gas prices and traffic, it's just not fun to go out there. This facility is fantastic. It's brand new, and only been open a year. It's beautifully decorated. My parents' room is beautiful. It's got granite countertops, large cabinets, a huge pantry, and it has a balcony that they can go on. There's two bedrooms with a double sink, master bedroom with a walk-in shower, a toilet, and a large closet for them to put their clothes up. In the guest room, the bathroom is separated from the bedroom. It's very large and very nice. It has one sink, and both have tons of cabinet space underneath their sinks. It's got a tub. The other bedroom does not have a balcony, but it does have a walk-in closet; it's quite nice. They have daily exercise classes of different types, some chair yoga, and some playing exercises. They have an exercise room with equipment like a bicycle, a treadmill, some arm weights, and things like that. It's a beautiful facility. The staff are beautiful and wonderful. I've had multiple meals there, and their food is fantastic. My favorite is they make a balsamic salmon that is to die for. Their food is delicious. They don't have as many activities as some of the other places. The only place they take them to is Walmart for shopping. They have a shopping day, or they'll take them to the doctor if need be. They don't really have as many outside activities as would probably benefit more people. It wouldn't benefit my parents, but it would probably benefit other people. It's hard to determine value for money, but as far as what has happened with my parents there, they've been great.

I like Legacy Oaks of Azle. I like the people. Everybody was nice. I saw three different apartments and I had lunch there. The food was delicious. The ambiance was beautiful. It's a beautiful building. Whoever decorated it did a beautiful job. It's light, it's airy, it's happy, and it's not dark or depressing like some places I've seen over the years. The apartments were nice. The grounds were beautiful. The swimming pool was very nice. The landscaping was very nice, very well kept and pretty. There were walking paths, grassy areas, plants, and trees. It's not that old, so their landscaping is still growing and building. I got there at lunchtime, so a lot of people were in there eating. I saw the different calendars that they have and all the different rooms. They even have a place where you can go wash your dog. They accept pets. The apartment partition was too big, making the rest of the room smaller. I think they should have a kitchen and put more storage, bedroom space and living room space in the one-bedroom. I saw some two bedrooms, too. They only give you two meals a day, so you have to do some personal snacking.

Don't put your loved one in this facility. The price is not justified by the service received. The apartments are nice but I would prefer knowing my mother was receiving the "assistance" she needs. Check out the complaints filed with Texas DHHS against License #107301. We've experienced issues with the exact same issues.

The Legacy Oaks of Azle community was excellent. I was really surprised and really glad that that was the first one we went to, because I had doubts about what senior living looks like, and Legacy Oak just blew my expectations away. It was clean and the people looked like they had freedom. They were enjoying themselves and they were engaging with each other. The staff appeared completely professional, they answered all my questions, they were happy and their attitude was great. They invited us back the next day to have lunch with them in the cafeteria to see how the dining works, and the food was outstanding. We had red snapper for lunch. The dining area was huge, but it was reminded me of when going on a cruise. The whole facility reminded me of a cruise ship. They had a theater room, they had movies going on, and a bunch of residents was in there watching movies. They also had some sort of art class going on, and a lot of people were also just on their own hanging out with each other. We saw their daily activities, and although it wasn't filled for the day, they have like two or three activities each day planned. The apartment was very classy and everything looked great.

My brother is a resident of Legacy Oaks of Azle. They were very good, and they have followed through with everything that they advertised. The food is good, and the staff is very nice. I go every other day, and my brother's room is clean. He's very happy. He lives in an assisted living. They provide activities. He's been on three different field trips, and he was watching a movie today. He plays cards once a week, and they have a pool table, and he plays plays pool. I would say right now it's worth what we're paying. They were the first place I went to, and I was satisfied. It's only about less than 20 minutes from where I live, and it was the most convenient of all those who contacted me.

Legacy Oaks of Azle was way out of our price range and too far from my sister's doctors. It's very concrete. It's in city limits, so it's almost like a concrete jungle and very, very expensive. They were very straightforward. The director was amazing. The place is gorgeous and new. The only drawback was the cost. It's brand new. It's just not what we were looking for because it was in town, so it was all concrete. There were no trees. It's close to everything, but it's in the city.

Legacy Oaks of Azle was nice and clean. They have friendly and nice people. It's good if somebody just needs light care and can do more on their own, but my sister needs round-the-clock care. It would work great for a person who only needs someone to come in, maybe once a day or two-to-three days a week, and just needs a little help. It's spendy. My sister has a nice pension, but she isn't a millionaire, so we have to be more budget conscious. It's a nice place and cost-wise, it will work for the right people. That area tends to be more expensive but not necessarily outrageous. They have a library, lounge areas, and nice rooms. The staff has kept in touch since our visit, in case we were interested.

We can't express enough how thankful our family is for such a wonderful place as Legacy Oaks and with such loving and caring staff all the way from the maintenance people, chef, kitchen workers to all the caregivers, nurses, office staff, director and even the corporate office. What a wonderful place that took such good care of our mom. I will simply quote her: "You are doing a good job," "You are a blessing,"and "Thank You." Thank You also for recommending Solaris Hospice, they did a wonderful job as well. Thank You, Legacy Oaks.

Legacy Oaks of Azle was brand new and beautiful, but the price was a little bit more than I could afford. They have assisted living and memory care. The staff treated us wonderfully, showed us around, offered us a drink, and asked if we needed anything. The facility was well set up, the rooms were nice, and it's a lovely property. I love Azle; it's a good town to live in. Everybody was really nice and friendly.

The place is a disaster. Severe new construction issues like flooding, sewer overflows onto carpet, showers running over, lightning strikes ruining computers, TV's and phones. They had a real chef when we signed the lease. He left and now it's mediocre cooks. They told us they were interviewing chefs but we looked at their help wanted ads and they're only looking for "a cook aspiring to chef." We no longer believe anything they say. If a resident complains too much (and there's a lot to complain about) management snubs and gives that resident even less service, so they're afraid to post reviews. I'm posting this so they don't snub my relative even more. It's way understaffed. Employees have left because it's a mess, only a few caring ones left. Corporate will post, "please contact us, so we can help, because we care." But so many of us relatives and residents have contacted corporate and local 50 times and it's still a mess. The place is gorgeous and activities are decent, but don't let that suck you in--that's what happened to us--we got dazzled by the decor. We're looking to move our relative.
