I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

I would not recommend this place. Very unkept, urine smell everywhere, toilets always clogged or not working, residents being mistreated, etc

I visited this facility

Cypress Woods Care Center is two or three minutes away from my office. I arrived there at 5:35 p.m. and stood in the reception area where I could hear them talking in the office. I rang the little bell and waited 10 minutes until 6 p.m. Then, I called. I couldn’t understand what they were saying; they were talking too fast, and I don’t hear well. I told them who I was looking for as I had an appointment scheduled, but they just kept talking real fast, and I couldn’t understand them. I walked inside and called again, thinking maybe I could hear better and tell them again who I was scheduled to meet, but I got the answering machine. I was there for 25 to 30 minutes. I had an appointment and never talked to a living person. If they are not going to take care of potential customers, they are not going to take care of the patients. There was no way Mom is going there. It was definitely not a good experience. There were patients wandering around and looking like they were lost, and nobody was taking care of them. There was a little front reception and sitting area. It was OK, but it was the lack of attention that bothered me. There is no way I would recommend it. Cypress Woods would have been the best for me as it is near my office and the closest one to my house.

I am a friend or relative of resident

Cypress wood care is caring for my 90 yr old mom . I am very happy with the care she is receiving . It been years since I have seen her so happy and full of life, making new friends and enjoying her new home. The place is always clean & fresh . All the personal I have seen go the extra mile to make sure everyone feels welcome with outstanding care.

I am a friend or relative of a resident

I have a grandparent who is being cared of at Cypress Woods Care Center. Overall, I am very impressed with the level of care and concern they have for their patients. Anytime anything slightly out of the norm occurs, we receive a phone call notification and can come in no matter then hour if we feel our presence will help. Also, this facility is directly across the street from a hospital, so when urgent care is needed it is literally seconds away. Also, the nursing home is just minutes away from several restaurants, so we can take our loved one out the eat anytime we like and they always work with us to coordinate this effort. The facility is also decorating very nicely and looks much more like a home than any other nursing home I have ever seen. The only bad thing I have ever heard about this facility is that they could pay their employees a bit more, but nonetheless the employees seem to all care very highly about the residents.

I visited this facility

This facility was very calm and secluded. There were not many people out and about like I would expect. But the staff was still rather nice and accompanied us in every way they could. They have a very nice out door space we we spent the majority of our time. I think a simple remodel of the inside would give it a more welcoming touch.
