My wife moved into Brookdale Sleepy Hollow, and it's a good place. One important thing is that she could have a pet there. It's more of a home environment because it's a smaller facility. We're really happy with it, so far. She has a private room, and the size is OK. She's got a good window view of the backyard. She doesn't need anything, like cooking utensils or even a microwave. She does have a refrigerator for cold drinks. The staff has been very good. They have exercise activities and other activities throughout the day.

Brookdale Sleepy Hollow was lovely, but the rooms were small. That's what we didn't care for there. We loved the facility and everything they offered, but the rooms were just too small. The staff who gave the tour was wonderful.

Brookdale Sleepy Hollow was nice, but it was really expensive. The facility was good and clean. The staff was good. She showed me everything I needed to see and everything I wanted to see.

We visited both assisted living and memory care at Brookdale Sleepy Hollow. The best I liked most about it was the atmosphere. The people seemed to like being there. We looked at all sizes and the rooms were spacious and bright. They have activities and things planned out for the individuals living there.

Friendly staff and residents. Different activities throughout the day and things they can choose from. Clean, does not smell either. Staff are very professional and care about your loved one.

Brookdale Sleepy Hollow is very nice, and it was clean. The room we looked at was nice. There were enough amenities and very good support staff. The staff who gave me the tour did a great job. They had everything that we were looking for. They told us what was available, and for those that were not when they were becoming available. We looked at two units that we wanted to see. They were very informative and very gracious. I have no complaints. The dining area seemed to be adequate. There was a variety, and the menu for the day was up on the board. It was clean and spacious. We saw the menu, and it looks very good. It shows what was available at all times and then their specialties. We saw the activity rooms; we didn't see anybody participating in them, but they were there.

My friend moved into Brookdale Sleepy Hollow. I like it. We looked at all of them in Amarillo and that was the best. My mother lived there several years ago. The staff is great. His room is great. It's nice and large and we got good furniture in there and a nice, safe walk-in bath. It's a good place to be. The section that he's in has mostly rooms to watch TV or two or three different activity areas. The dining area is nice and clean and in very good repair. He's in the Alzheimer's area/memory care unit. The outside area is nice. It has nice benches and he can get outside and it has trees and flowers and all that kind of fun stuff. It's very secure. They offer options and the food is good. The portions are just right. I'm also a professional chef, so it's hard to beat my food. They've got games, assorted crafts, and puzzles, and they have a little reading room. It's just a very nice place, and they've got very nice staff.

We went to Brookdale Sleepy Hollow. The staff was extremely friendly. We got to meet a couple of different people there, and they all seemed very happy and very accommodating. The interaction with the patients was very commendable. Everybody seemed to get along really well. They were having some upkeep issues with the garden area. That was the only negative. They hadn't had any maintenance coming off the pandemic, so I get it that there was a hose laying across the path, so somebody could trip over it, and it wasn't very as well kept as it could have been. They were extremely careful with everything. We got tested and screened as far as our temperature and everything. They took a lot of precautions. People were wearing masks, and everything was good. They did not have any COVID there, but they were still taking precautions.

I saw Brookdale Sleepy Hollow. It looked very nice. The director was very nice, polite, very informative, and helpful. The rooms were very small, but it was sized for a twin bed, a dresser, and a chair. It seemed like a good atmosphere. The people passing by would say hi; they were all very friendly. She told me the activities were impressive.

I visited Brookdale Sleepy Hollow and would rate them a zero. The lady who showed us around was very unfamiliar with everything they were doing. We asked her questions, and she didn't even know how to answer. I guess she was the assistant of the person that had the information, but being an assistant you should still know how to answer the question. The place was small and I didn't see any activities. It was dark, dirty, and smelled like pee and poop. We didn't like it. The price is a little cheaper than the other places. Also, there's a restroom in each room. They have an area where it's open inside, and it was dirty. They don't clean up the leaves that fall on the ground, and there's debris. If it's autumn, they should go out there and pick up the leaves or rake them up.

Brookdale Sleepy Hollow was great. All the people that worked there were very kind. It was well run and organized, and there was nobody running around and lost. The people seemed very much in charge and knew what they were doing. They have an outside courtyard, which was enclosed so they can go out in nice weather. The facility was great. I really liked it.

Brookdale Sleepy Hollow was more like a nursing home. The room was very small, the place was very clean, and the people were very friendly. However, I don't think my aunt will like it.

We chose Brookdale Sleepy Hollow because it is closer to my house and has about 60 units. One part is assisted living and one part is a dementia unit. The rooms are a nice size. The food is good and homemade.

The overall atmosphere of Brookdale Sleepy Hollow was just very positive and bright. The residents seemed active and engaged in whatever was going on, and you could see the encouragement that the staff was giving them. It was an awesome experience and I wish we could have put my father-in-law there but the financial aspect of it. It was amazing; it was clean, positive, very well-organized, and overall it was just an immaculate experience as far as everything was.

Brookdale Sleepy Hollow was a beautiful facility. If the lady that we were looking for had been able to walk better, we would have put her there. Also, she needed more than assisted living. It was a small facility, but it was like walking up to a beautiful home. They had private rooms which the residents could fix up.The people were very nice. It had a very homey atmosphere.

We loved Brookdale Sleepy Hollow. If we ever decide to put Mom somewhere, it’s going to be there. We liked the way the people were treated there. They paid attention to the residents and followed up with them. We liked the lady who ran it and the way she ran it. She talked to us for over an hour and showed us everything. She was really part of the place and part of the people. She interacted with the patients, and we got everything we needed from her. We liked the rooms and the TVs; some places require you to hook the TV to the wall and this one is just placed on a chest. In the cafeteria, we saw the people eating and they were going back and forth. They have an in-house beauty shop and little theaters where they show different movies. They have different kinds of meals and if they don’t like the meals, they’ll give them substitutes. My brother and my sister went with me, and we all were of the same opinion about this place.

Emeritus at Seville Estates was nice. It's just the location wasn't good for us. The one room I was in looked nice and very clean; it was actually a single person room. The staff seemed very helpful, and they did have an Alzheimer's unit. They did puzzles and played games.

My husband stayed at Seville Estates for respite care before he had to leave home. They were very good to him and take good care of him.

I visited The Seville (Emeritus at Seville Estates). It was wonderful. The lady was very nice. When I first went in, I thought no way would my husband go on Alzheimer's unit, but when she described everything and showed me everything, yes that would be where I would put him. She was just very, very helpful, just wonderful. The facility looked great. Everything was good. The area was perfect. Everything was nice and clean. Regarding their rooms, most of them had a walk-in bathtub, and the rooms were all updated and roomy. I like the little kitchenette thing. The dining room was really clean and inviting. I like the one with the Alzheimer's where he would not have been able to go to eat, but in the Alzheimer's place, they would go get him and I like that. There were a couple of rooms for activities. In the Alzheimer's unit, they had somewhat more activities that they were doing, but it was with smaller groups.

Emeritus at Seville Estates was comparable with the other facility. I looked at a studio apartment, and it was fine, but I felt like the one in the other facility was a little bit larger. The staff was very nice, very accommodating, and very friendly. The facility was nice. Their dining room was nice with individual tables. I like the layout of Emeritus at Seville Estates and all the rooms were on the ground floor which appealed to me.

Emeritus was a lovely place. It was my favorite, but they don't take Medicaid. I liked the way the memory care unit was organized into little families. They have a courtyard where they allow the residents to go with a companion. They ate family style and I liked that. The hospital is not far from Walmart, Lowe's, a donut stop, and a couple of churches. It's inside a community and it has a community feel. The staff is knowledgeable.

Emeritus was fine. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were pretty basic. They had activities like card games, and I guess they take them on field trips sometimes. They had a library and an area like a courtyard. They could improve on the price because I had to figure out how Mom could afford it.

While visiting my brother in Texas, part of our agenda was to help his friend find an assisted living facility. We stopped in at Emeritus at Seville Estates as an option. The grounds were designed like a hotel or resort. The staff was very accommodating, answering all of our questions patiently, despite our not having an appointment. The lobby was fresh and bright. The library was impressive, with many good books and games. The fitness center had well maintained equipment and ample rooms. They also had daily classes and residents could safely navigate the lovely grounds for exercise daily. The living spaces were generous, designed well and comfortable. The dining room was quite nice, with plenty of space. The food we saw looked and smelled delicious. Healthy snacks are offered all day and into the evening, as well as whenever residents request them. The many planned activities feature everything from book readings and discussions to the arts, museums, galleries, film, theater and the extensive Texas music scene. The residents are regularly taken to many interesting events in the region -- so they get to take advantage of the region's vast cultural offerings. It has been a challenge to find a place that suits all of my brother's friend's needs. They really seemed to understand how challenging this process can be. We would recommend that anyone looking for a place for their loved one take a tour.
