My friend is now living in University Place. It's an older community, but it's well-maintained. He's in a 1-bedroom. It was spacious. They gave him new appliances and replaced the carpet with manufactured flooring. They were very nice, and it was less expensive than some upscale ones that we looked at. It was quite reasonable and very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. They didn't put any pressure on us. They just made it easy to do. They invited us to lunch before we had made our decision, and we enjoyed it. We were standing there as people were coming in, and it was obvious that they were looking forward to a meal that they were going to enjoy. It was a very nice atmosphere and very friendly. They have lots of activities. They have regular activities and games. In fact, when we were there, the mayor was coming there to play. He had a good time and said he would be back. I saw people putting puzzles together. They had a nice library, and the activity room is kind of off into their atrium (which is a nice, big courtyard). It's just very pleasant. The value for the money seemed appropriate and reasonable.

The University Place's facility is topnotch. It has everything that my relative needs and things she wouldn't get if she were still living at home, so she's doing very well there. They had an Elvis impersonator a couple of weeks back. This coming Thursday night they're going to have some kind of a music program and then soon after that they are going to have a family meal day. We have tasted the food and it is good.

We liked the University Place. The tour was great. The rooms were homey and comfortable, but dated. The menu looked basic. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. Everything looked decent. If we move, we will probably go with University Place.

I was able to visit the University Place in Abilene. I liked it for my mom because of the price. The staff was very nice and very helpful. I saw the rooms, and they were very nice. The facility is very nice, very well-kept and clean. It feels like home. It's next to a lot of stores and pharmacies.

My parents like University Place very much. It's going very well, and the staff is very kind. They have a one-bedroom apartment, but they have a variety. They have very good food in the dining room, lots of areas for daily planned activities, cleaning staff comes in, an exercise room, a library, game rooms, and TV rooms.

I went to University Place, and I liked it. The layout and the size were better than the other place I visited. However, it was expensive. Also, there was no washer and dryer, and that's why I didn't move there. I saw people out and about, I saw the library, the movie area, and where they have the religion stuff. I saw the dining room, I saw several apartments, and the outside area.

I went to University Place. I thought it is very affordable. These are efficiency apartments, 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom apartments. It has a sitdown ready-to-order dining room hall for three meals -- i.e., for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You walk in, you sit at your table, they serve you a menu where you can order, and they bring the food to you just like a regular restaurant. Also you have housekeeping that comes to you twice a month, and you have daily transportation to the local shopping mecca...

My mom lived at University Place for six months. It was a bigger facility than the other she had been to. We chose it because it was accessible and they had transportation and different things going on. The room was beautiful, it was a two bedroom and two bathroom apartment. They probably needed more staff though. Nonetheless, I would recommend this to facility to others.
