Staff is overall sweet but WAY overworked so your loved one doesn't receive the care or attention needed. Food is HORRIFIC. Over the course of a year's worth of visits, there was not one meal I would've fed a stray dog. PT is very secretive. Communication with management is difficult and generally without any sort of human empathy. FORGET having conversation with dr about loved one's care. They rotate, never return phone calls and have to be tracked down in person. Don't be fooled by the first impression of cleanliness and sweet intake staff. BAD BAD BAD

Do not put your loved on in here for Nursing home. I know it’s great for short term rehab. But long term nursing for people with dementia/ Alzheimer's... forget it. They will not dress the person if no one is living close by to be coming and checking in on them. They will leave them laying in the bed with a gown on. Even if they say they will get them dressed and put them in a wheelchair, they won’t. I have purposely popped in 6 times over 3 months and none of the times Aron’s lunch when they say they are going to have my loved one dressed, in wheelchair and up to eat with the others do they have them up. Do not put them in this place to whither up and die. Sure it’s a clean facility. Sure the staff is friendly, sweet and helpful. I have seen numerous times the roommate of my loved one be brought there food, the food sit there and they never bother to feed the person. The staff comes and gets the good and the person never even gets to eat dinner. How terrible. That is not the way it is suppose to be. I had to believe it for myself. Just because a facility is nice, clean, and the staff is friendly does not mean it’s the best place for your loved one. Looks does not always mean the best care. Take my advice go elsewhere for dementia/Alzheimer's loves ones. Only use this facility for rehab.

I have visited with some of the residents and they have told me it is the worst care ever. Left in bathroom for long periods of time with no help. Pressing emergency button with no responses. One lady said her oxygen was empty and she could hardly breathe, this was at night.I have been in this facility and witnessed staff being hateful to residents. I would never put my loved one here.

Our father was supposed to be there for 3 weeks for physical therapy. Every time we went to see him, he was drugged and in bed. He never got the first PT session. He walked in with a walker, and a few weeks later he was dead! DO NOT put your loved one here!

I enjoyed the warm feeling that I received when I walked into the Life Care Center. The employees were very nice and kind. The facility was very well organized but the only complaint I had was the smell. I do understand that some life care centers may have a smell due to diapers being disposed so I could look past it. I was very impressed that they had a small hair salon for the ladies and gents. I enjoyed dinning in there kitchen area. The selection of there food was fresh and appealing. The kitchen area was very clean and welcoming for a person or persons to enjoy a meal. My Aunt passed away about a month ago in this facility but they made sure she was comfortable, clean and presentable for her family to come in and view her. The facility gave complete privacy along with asking if our family needed anything. I would recommend this facility to anyone that may need personal care for the elderly.
