My mother is at the Reserve at Spring Hill. They're very, very attentive in terms of the nursing care, and very responsive. The facility itself is very well maintained and immaculately appointed. It's a beautiful place to be. My mom is there for physical therapy, and once she gets back to baseline, she's out of there. We've not explored all that there is to do there because she's not going to be a permanent resident there. She's there to get physical therapy, to be cared for while she's there, in terms of being bathed and fed and all of that. The dining area is very, very nice, but I don't know a lot about it because they bring her her meals as if she were in a hospital setting in bed. She's not 100 percent thrilled with the food that she's receiving. I think it's because she's kind of spoiled and I've been bringing her meals that I prepare myself, and she's a little biased. They're experts and professional and just so attentive and friendly and go the extra mile. I can't say enough about them. I'm very pleased. They're definitely aggressively on top. The facility is immaculately maintained. The rooms are private and spacious.

My mom is a resident of The Reserve at Spring Hill. It is beautiful. It's set up very well, and everybody has been very nice. It was just very quiet, it was well-lit, and everybody has been nice. They leave the rooms undecorated because they don't allow the residents to hang things on the wall. So, when you first get there, it's undecorated. But it was a good-sized room and set up well. Everything is straight up what you would expect. She is needing assistance with everything, and they are bringing the meals to her in her room. She's basically at the level of being in the hospital. I have not tasted any of the food. I saw the meal that came today, and it looked good. It was fresh. My mom was eating it, and she's a hard sell. She had some roasted potatoes that looked like real roasted potatoes. So, the food looks good. She was mainly doing physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. She's just doing therapeutic things. She's not been able to attend any activities. Most of the staff have been very, very kind, and very cheerful. I have run into a couple of nurses that seem exhausted. I understand that's just the way it is right now, there's a shortage of nurses, and so I felt bad for the nurses. It's going through insurance. I'm not sure how that cost looks to the insurance company, but we're grateful that Medicare is picking up.

We like The Reserve at Spring Hill and my mother-in-law is living there now. It's a very nice community and she's very happy. I haven't tasted the food but she's very pleased with it. Their staff is very nice and very helpful. They've answered all our calls and taken care of just about everything we have requested. The reason we picked this place, was because when I visited the residents were playing cards in the dining room and they were whooping it up like you wouldn't believe. They were having so much fun, and that's what I wanted for my mother-in-law. She's been meeting a lot of people there and it's been very good for her. She raves about the food and she's really happy about it. I think it's a good value for my money.
