Thank you so much to both the team of nurses as well as the physical and occupational therapy staff! My mother-in-law is frail and needed more intense physical therapy than home healthcare could provide. This team had her feeling better than my wife and I have witnessed for several years! We found several of the nurses aides to be remarkably kind! Thank you again we feel blessed to have found you!

My mother is in Soddy-daisy Health Care Center. It's all on one level. You don't have to use elevators or anything, so that's a good sign. She has to share a room right now. It's hard sometimes to get somebody to come to the phone, and to let you in the door, you have to call and they don't always have anybody at the front desk. They do different arts and crafts, they do different puzzle games, and they do bingo. Sometimes, they'll have a singer that will come there and then they'll have a ministry there on Sunday. They have different coloring contests. I've never watched them doing it, but my mom seems to enjoy it. The price is extremely high no matter where you go.

The rooms are very small and cramped. They are also very dirty. While my uncle was there they had no hotwater on several occasions and residents didi not get bathed. There was never linens for bed changes and several times we found him in soil linens. This place is horrible! Do not put someone you care about in this facility.

My dad is in this center, however we are getting him moved as I type this. The room is nasty. Dirty dishes, diapers, wash cloths laying all around. trash over flowing, trash under the beds . We told a staff member and this and they stated they would take care of this. We went in the next day and nothing had been done. He lays in a poop diaper for over an hour and we went down several times and still no response. His feeding tube stayed empty for a very long time. I was shocked when I seen how he was being or not being taken care of. He gets a bath one time a week and his clothes changed once a week. I do NOT recommend this place at all.

Soddy-Daisy Healthcare Center had a couple of little opportunities to go out and listen to music or hang out and talk with others. However, they were short staffed and weren't able to get residents their meals in a very timely manner. My mother had an issue with the nighttime staff who yelled at here and I had to go in and resolve that by talking to the director. I felt like the meeting went well. The director assured me that things would go smoother, but I don't know if that happened. My mother felt like she was being served last during dinners and she felt like she would be using the call button to get somebody to help her out with using the restroom, and she wouldn't get a response. If that place had better employees and better lines of communication, it would be better, but I don't think it's really good right now. Their rehab was OK, but if you have atypical needs, that can be problematic. It's not the resident's fault if they have atypical needs, it's the way they run the staff. They would probably get the job done, but it's not terrific. .

My sister is at Soddy-daisy Health Care Center. She went there for rehab, and she is happy there. They've been very nice and very helpful on the phone, but as you well know with COVID, I don't know much about the place. She was transported up for rehab, and like I said, she is happy there, and I really did not see any point in trying to find someplace else because I can't go in looking. I can't go in to see anything. I have not seen it up there. It is just really strange, but she is happy. The outside looks nice; it looks like the website. It looks very clean, neat, and well kept. As far as I am concerned, they have done everything they need to do. When I have more involvement, it might change somewhat. But I don't think so because they keep me informed. What I saw of the inside looks bright, clean, and neat. I did walk in the front door before they reminded me of COVID and shooed me out, which was perfectly understandable.

My friend was at Soddy-Daisy Health Care Center. It was nice and clean, and they gave her good care. She did some rehab and they got her going. The one lady staff I saw was OK. Her room wasn't spacious. It had two beds and it would've been a little cramped, but it was OK.

room cleanlines is adequate, but not what is expected, some members of the staff were awesome and some needed to consider other employment options My major complaint being that my mother passed in June of 2017, and in october of 2018, 14 months LATER, I was informed that a refund was due, now at the end of March 2019, still no sign of a refund. That alone is absolutely shameful, when money was due to the facility, it was required IMMEDIATELY. This is poor business practice. After several phone calls and never being allowed to speak to anyone with authority, we are still waiting.

I had my mom there and the place took really good care of her. I was able to drop in pretty much anytime, which I did, and never saw anything being done that I didn't approve of. Everyone seemed to be very caring of their residents and enjoyed working there, which make a huge difference in how the car is delivered. Never regretted bring mom to this home.

Soddy-Daisy is close to home. As far as nursing homes are concerned, we just wanted that one because it was what we decided. My father is not able to go to an assisted living. The staff that I saw seems to enjoy their work, and it was good. They were helpful. The rooms were moderate. It was spacious.

My aunt was at Soddy-Daisy Healthcare Center. She had fallen about three different times and had to go there for therapy. They had a very good therapist. Her physical therapist was top of the line. The food was mediocre, but sometimes they would bring good food. It was clean, and the nurses were very friendly.
