Our experience with The Rutherford Memory Care has been very good, and my wife is adapting really well. I chose them because it's a small community, there are only about 28 residents. I like that the staff they have there are really old, meaning they have been working there for a long time. They have the same activities as all the others. She has room and board, they have a calendar of activities with 4-5 activities every day. They have a couple of religious services, they carefully check them and they check the residents every 2 hours at night. There's always an attendant in their little patio, there are only 8 people in her group. The staff members are super. There seems to be more lint on the floor than I would like to see, but I realized that the staff couldn't really come in and scrub the floor a couple of times a day because there'd be too much danger of falling. But all the surfaces are spotless. I stayed and played bingo with them and they've had a lot of fun doing that. I also stayed during craft time where they put together some craft things and they did a little bit of art. They also play ball, exercises and things like that. I haven't found any other place in Murfreesboro that's better than this place, but I found a lot of them that are more expensive, like 20% more expensive. It turned out to be the lowest priced, but I did not choose them for that reason. They could be the most expensive one but they would still impress me just the same.

I toured The Rutherford Memory Care. It was a nice visit. I was shown the room my dad would stay in, where they would go and eat, the patio outdoor area where they could come out and get some fresh air and sunshine. The rooms were very nice looking, tidy and clean, and ready for someone to be able to move in. Their dining area was small, like a home kind of feel for the environment. It looked like the tables were easy to clean.

I toured The Rutherford Memory Care. The room was up on the third floor. The staff who gave the tour was very nice. The facility is multi levels.

The Rutherford Memory Care was a very nice facility. It's very clean and they were very protective of their patients and staff. They gave us a virtual tour through Facetime instead of possible exposing anybody to Covid or anything. We sat in and the managers all through Facetime gave us a tour. It was a very clean place and it was a very well-maintained. They also had the big buzz in and all that, so it was a very secured place.
