What disturbed was when i entered the bathroom there was feces present and it was hard and you can tell had been there for weeks. If there is housekeeping how can anyone have this present in the bathroom and on the floor to where it had to be soaked to be cleaned up. This and other rooms had food where it looks like someone tossed a plate across the room and left food everywhere. This was present for not only one day but over 48 hours. If there is housekeeping and staffing present how did so many rooms go without the basic of sweeping. This concerns me, because if the floors are not being swept and mopped regularly then that is why the bathroom in the room was filthy. I can only imagine how many more appear this way. The housekeeping says a lot about a facility and if this is allowed, i worry about what else is being half done here.

Signature Healthcare was beautiful and really nice. Most of the nurses were really nice, too, but I was really disappointed in the amount of therapy she actually got. It was supposed to rehab, and she was supposed to get enough rehab to be able to go home and independently live again. She was back in the hospital a week after she got out, so that to me says they didn’t do as good as job as I thought. The services seemed to be OK. They must have better communication with the family.

They have some Daytime nurses that are caring and affectionate. The night nurses/c.n.as just care about a check. The facility is dirty the walls and baseboard are horrible. If you dont check regularly on your loved ones there, they will leave diapers unchanged.I know this because I had my dad there and Ive seen it for myself.

Signature Healthcare basically is okay; it’s not as convenient because it’s in a very busy part of town, right next to a hospital. I have troubled walking but I don’t have a handicapped sticker so sometimes we’ve got to park pretty far away and walk. The therapists are very good; the staff, nurses, the aides and everybody else is very friendly but I just have a problem with the doctors as they are hard to find. I’ve never met her. She won’t sign any of the paperwork we’ve asked her to sign. Each floor has their own little dining room and I believe they prepare the food somewhere else; in fact I think it might come from a restaurant but they have a little dining room setup. They have a nice gym on the main floor, they take him down there every early in the day. They have regular gym equipment but they don’t have much of an outdoor. They have a patio where they can just sit outside, but all they see is traffic. I think they have a meeting room where they can play cards and bingo. He was in a semi-private room; we felt very crowded. There was no privacy; there were just a curtain dividing the beds. We did put him in a private room a couple of weeks ago and the price is outrageous at $6900 for the nursing care. I had no idea that a nursing home was that expensive.

Do not take your loved one to this place. You cannot get any information from anyone there. You don't get to see or talk to a Doctor. They are very under staffed, if you call to go to bathroom you will wait until its to late. Then you can sit in poo or pee until someone decides to come. It does no good to complain!! Physical therapy is good if they could somehow get set on a schedule. There is no parking at this place either and elevators take forever. Hope never to come to this place again.

physical therapy is good. dr is elusive and only comes in once a week then you may never see him/her. nurses wont call the dr for you to talk with them. that's a no no apparently. they are understaffed routinely. so you may sit in poo 2 hours before you get cleaned. if you do get sick or suspect something there is always a snappy answer for something simple it could be even if its serious. like pneumonia possibly. don't go here.

UNDERSTAFFED, poor service, one aide for the entire floor. No assistance with helping my relative eat or cut food. Unexplained recording beep on directly dialed phone conversation with my loved one. I was on a secure encripted cell phone. EXCESSIVE SEDATION for patients who request attention to hygene issues, probably to keep them quiet. Looking for another place Asap! :

Signature HealthCare is really clean, nice, and everybody seems pretty friendly. They got health care, physical therapy, full-service. It's a 1-story building with regular nursing rooms.

In agreement with FYI, totally. My husband & I have tried to resolve issues with Signature involving what I viewed, I considered and determined to be obvious, blatant mis-treatment by staff combined wit sanitary issues. I've seen an elderly lady slapped hard by a nurse. That was the end of my silence! Very aggressively & loud I immediately questioned the action. I was told as the abuser giggled, "Awe that's how we wake her up with a little tap, She don't like you shaking hers arms or calling her name". On another occasion we witnessed a residents action towards another. The"event/dispute"- a heated argument went unattended & seemingly unnoticed by supposedly trained and skilled personalize with them being able, however unwilling to show concern or do their job. The room and others areas in the facility are very unsanitary and actually a health hazard to anyone especially elderly, sick or even healthy. A clean, safe and stable environment is very seriously for health and recovery, also a must for every resident and employee alike. This has been all in a time-frame of (2) months and I wonder many days & nights if something could be going on with her being mistreated or neglected. My husband and I both have begun to feel extremely uncomfortable with this entire situation. Our family is aggressively looking for another place.

My Brother is a resident of Signature Healthcare At St. Francis, but not for long ! This place is disgustingly NASTY ! On my first visit I spilled water in the restroom and cleaned up with one of their bath towels. The cloth was BLACK with just a few wipes to absorb a small amount of liquid. My driveway is cleaner than spaces in that place - Signature Healtcare. He's bed-ridden, so at the time he'd never entered the restroom of his private room. Signature is leasing space from St. Francis, I later found out. Anything needed does come from the hospital, so if you need clean linen you have at least an hour or two wait. The staff majority are rude, unhelpful & non-caring toward residents needs. If you place "A Loved One" there you must prepare yourself for many hours of dedicated work on your behalf if your true intentions are aimed at decent, respectful, humane treatment of that person. If you don't care "“ drop them at the door. I've repeatedly seen residents who have infrequent to no visitors sit with food trays in front of them when they are unable to feed themselves. This is just a touch on this repulsive, nasty, front for Health Care. I'm looking at other places and will have him out of there very, very soon. I didn't choose Signature for him, but I wont see him live in such horrendous conditions. I have chosen that he will not stay in a place of filth abound with "I hate my job" employees. This is not a healthy living environment for a canine, much less a human being.
