My mother is in Quince Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for long-term care. It is a clean facility. The staffing is great. They're very attentive and they always keep me informed of what's going on. I think she's getting the value for the cost. She's in a semi-private room. It has two beds, two closets, restroom, and two TVs. I know there's a salon in there and an activity area. Whenever I go (and I go often at least a couple of times a week), it's always very clean. It seems to be very sanitized. They make sure people wear their masks. We had the Mother's Day brunch. It was better than hospital food; it was pretty good. They're really accommodating.

The food was fine. The nurse staff was great, up until check out time. I was unaware of procedure concerning personal belongings. Her clothes were bleached and some were missing. I went to pick her up and her clothes were missing and she wasnt dressed. I asked about her clothes and no one tried to help me, only quoted procedure. They didn't do their part of documentation so they blamed me for not knowing. The entire process of retrieval took almost 2 weeks to begin with no resolution and I was treated very unprofessionally throughout. Sincerely unsatisfied

My brother is in Quince Nursing and Rehabilitation. The place is OK. Most of the people there are in wheelchairs and bedridden. He likes to get up and walk around, which is the only thing. The smell is nice, unlike some nursing facilities. It's always clean, quiet, and nice. The staff is very nice, and they're taking care of the people there. One Friday evening, they had tuna salad, a pasta salad, green salad, crackers, and juice. It was a nice meal. They play bingo, but they don't have enough activities for the folks that can get around.

If I could give zero stars and still be rated I would. My father came to Quince with a degenerative spinal cancer. He had lost most of his mobility on his right side, but was expected to live at least another 6 months before he left the hospital. Within 10 days he died. He was visited everyday, and it gradually became clear that he was not being cared for adequately. He developed bedsores which he had not had during his stay in the hospital which lasted over 2 weeks. His food tray was often untouched. This is a man who could not use his dominate hand, and had difficulty using the other, yet no one took the time to feed him during the day. Then in the evening during visits he was so sedated that he could not wake or communicate let alone eat. In the hospital, he would eat much of his tray if assisted, and was eager to enjoy a nutrient drink, especially strawberry. I could say more, but it all boils down to an apathetic staff and inadequate patient care. During this short time our family discussed moving him to another facility, but before any changes could be made he died.

My mother went to Quince for 20 days. They were very good and very attentive. I was very happy with them. Her room was kept very clean, and she had 24-hour care. She did therapy three times a day -- speech, physical, and occupational therapy. The food was OK, but it wasn't seasoned very well.
