I have moved into River Oaks Place Loudon. It is a four-story building on top of a hill in Loudon, Tennessee and it's very peaceful. The staff is very kind. I enjoy my stay. They also allow my pet to come with me. They all help take care of her. They do my laundry and my dinner. They help me clean my room. If I need help with anything else, they're right here. It's an assisted living, so they don't bother me unless I need help. My room is more of a studio. They have activities on the second floor. They have games, they have exercises in the mornings, and they have devotionals in the mornings. They have a sister facility down here that they mingle with. The activities are fun.

There was nothing that I 100 percent liked about River Oaks Place Loudon. There was a smell to the place. It didn't seem as friendly. All the nurses and workers there were wearing their own clothes. Bellies were hanging out. It was like they were only there for the paycheck. They didn't have a whole sense of "your family or your loved one being safe with us and we'll take care of them". I toured River Oaks Place. The people were very nice, but there didn't seem to be enough aides. Like if somebody fell, all I saw was 2 or 3 people, and that was it, and that was including the nurses. The apartment was nice and clean, but it wasn't spacious, it was very small. But they were going to try to meet whatever I felt I needed there. I liked River Oaks Place Loudon very much. The person who assisted me with the tour was excellent. She was wonderful. I saw an exercise room. The dining area was very lovely. The residents were having fun while I was there. They were talking to each other and playing some games. One group was playing, passing a ball to each other, and they were laughing. The place was very clean.

I've already placed a down payment on a room at River Oaks Place Loudon. It was very nice. We were actually able to get into the facility because it wasn't closed down, and everyone was pleasant. We got to see the room and they showed us where my aunt would go for her food. It seemed like a nice facility. My sister-in-law is at River Oaks Place Loudon. I think the staff are friendly, experienced, and very caring. I also think the food is high quality. She seems to always enjoy her meals. I feel that the facility is well maintained and is in a beautiful setting. There is a lot of really good scenery as you look out the window with mountains and trees. It is just a nice area. I have seen them gardening and doing some arts and crafts, which she seems to really enjoy. I think it's a good value.

I really liked River Oaks Place - Loudon because their activities were great. The food was great. They had wine and cheese parties, and entertainment for every occasion. They also had a workout room. The place seemed very secure. The rooms were clean and well laid out. I know a couple who live there. They had adjoining rooms, and they had their little dog with them. We chose River Oaks Place. Their staff is wonderful, very caring, and answers questions very well. They have all kinds of activities and field trips. The place feels very homey and is very beautiful. They serve three meals a day. For amenities, they have a pool and a library, which were really nice. It is a really good place to be. I would definitely recommend this place.

We placed my mother in River Oaks in Loudon. We just thought that it is a good match for my mother. She’s 91, and there are lots of mainly elderly folks like her there. It seems like a safe environment. It is clean and very well appointed with the amenities. It is a good price too. The facility is all well laid-out.

I was impressed with River Oaks Place – Loudon. My dad was there years ago, so I knew a little bit about it. It's an old hospital made into dementia care on top of a mountain, and the scenery was beautiful. On the third floor, they had a screened-in porch where the residents can go in and sit.

River Oaks Place provides our mother with wonderful care. Mom has Alzheimer's Disease and River Oaks has done a marvelous job of keeping her safe, cared-for and loved. She lives in a beautiful suite with her own private bath. All of her meals are served in a lovely dining area. There are daily activities that she loves to participate in.
